    Pomegranate V

Juicy, lush and fruity/floral in a good way. The pom adds a nice tartness to the blend, but I don't get much except the pom and a bit of floral. There is also a dustiness, which I'm guessing is the opium tar. I like this, but probably not enough for a bottle. So far, it's the favourite of the poms, though I still have to test 2. This would be a great spring/summer blend.

    The Shadowy And The Sublime

Wow, doesn't anyone else find this quite similar to The Harp? I'm thinking perhaps the Moroccan amber. Whatever the case, this is a soft vanilla-y amber bordering on powdery, but doesn't go there. It's got a teeny bit more floral going on than the Harp, but they really are quite similar to me. I really like this, but don't need it as I have quite a bit of The Harp.

    Halloween: Brooklyn

When I first sniffed this, it smelled quite acrid in the imp. Trying it this morning, I don't get the strong wood, or whatever it was. Just a light, fresh green blend. I can't really pick anything out, and as others have noted, it fades very fast. I just put this on 15 minutes ago, and I can barely smell it. Nice, but too fast of a fader.

    Encroaching Madness

I don't really find this scent offensive at all, though it admittedly, it is not my style. I get a strong, heady floral, kind of yellow smelling. This reminds me of a young girl's room, barely out of toddler hood painted soft yellow, with a pretty canary yellow quilt. There is just a childlike innocence to this blend, and further on the dry-down, reminds me of the smell of a baby or young child. This blend is very evoking, and though I personally wouldn't wear it, if I had small children I'd probably use it as a room scent.

    Pomegranate I

Ugh, cloying heady jasmine. I may get a teeny bit of pom at first, but this blend ends up being all about the jasmine. Not for me.

    The Unsteady Governess

Just as described, a lovely tea with a touch of violet at first, then the violet it 'poof', gone. This is very much like the tea note in Embalming Fluid, and though lovely, I do have a bottle of EF, which I find to be very similar to this blend.

    Boo

At first, this is sweet, creamy cotton. I'm very excited, as the previous Boo is more of a foody cream with a faint cotton background. As it dries, the cotton takes a background, unfortuneately, and it's pretty much like last years Boo. An uber foody, sweet creamy vanilla, with no cotton now that I can smell. If it had stayed the way it was wet, a definite bottle upgrade would be in order. As it is, I will keep the decant for my rare foody moments in bpal.

    The Hag

Black Musk is almost always a win, it blends with my skin chemistry to smell like soft, musky snake oil-like. This blend actually reminds me a lot of Panther Moon for the first stages. The vetiver is just in the background, and after a bit, it unfortuneately starts to smells like someone is smoking weed close by. Still, it is really amazing on me for twenty minutes or so. I'm glad I have Panther Moon for when I'm feeling in a dark mood.

    Dia De Los Natitas

To me, this is better suited for spring. This is quite florally, kind of like the honeysuckle/jasmine type floral, but it doesn't go powdery. I do get a teensy bit of rose. I didn't know hydrangea had a scent, as the ones I've smelled up North here definitely don't. Whatever the case, this is way to heady for me.

    Odd Portents

This is quite dark, and I do love dark. I get no rose or lavender, this actually smells a lot like Panther Moon on me for some odd reason, though the notes are not at all alike, and yes, it is a bit like On Darkness to me as well. As with PM, this does smell amazing on me, it's a bit sweeter actually with something akin to warm tobacco. I'll probably hunt down a decant, as I do have a lot of dark, sweet scents. This really is stunning, though, and it would definitely be in bottle territory if I didn't already own similar blends. Come to think of it, I may just get a bottle, this is so comforting and sexy at the same time. I love surprise wins!

    Blue Pumpkin Floss

This ends up being a buttery pumpkin with spice. I may get a bit of the blackberry floss at the beginning, but it is drowned out by the spices. Not something I'd wear, but I bet would make a great room scent.

    Lambs-Wool

Just as described. Apple cider with mulling spices. Not something I'd personally wear, but I'm sure it would be an awesome room scent.

    Pomegranate III

At first, the sandalwood is wonderful in this blend. But as pom usually does, it it amps on me, drowns everything else out and turns it very candylike and sweet. For those of you who like jolly ranchers, this would be a one of the pomegranate kind. (If they were made of course!) I get a bit of a dusty nut vibe too. I'd love a pom blend to work on me, but alas, this isn't it.

    Punkie Night

Very fresh and appley to start with. As it dries, it gets more candy-like and a nut scent is coming through. This would be nice as pot pourri, but I'm just not into apple, and these notes just don't jive for me anyways.

    The Wild Swans At Coole

I'm not an aquatic loving person per se, but this is probably one of the best I've ever tried. This is so lush and pretty, with a bit of a kick of something like sandalwood. Whatever it is, if it stays like this for the duration of a testing, I may just spring for a bottle. I'm getting a bit of a soap vibe off and on, but generally, this is very pretty. I can picture swans on a dusky evening, with a purple sunset. Very nice!

    Halloween: New Orleans

Very fresh, airy non-heady floral on me. This is very pretty, and what I'd imagine New Orleans to smell like. It does threaten to go fungus on me, but doesn't thankfully. This really isn't the type of scent that I like to wear however. I'm sure is tempted to get the room spray however, I'd love my house to smell like this. This blend seems more springlike than fall to me.

    Golletes

Wet, a very realistic, like a homemade strawberry syrup. As it dries, a bit of a pastry note comes out. This reminds me of a high end pastry shop, or the goods you'd get at a fancy high tea. I can't get over how yummy and realistic this is, but though I love eating this type of thing, I just don't dig smelling like a delectable pastry. I do have to admit though, this is extremely well done, and if I were a foody, this would be right up there in top 10 area.

    Ghoulish

Wet, this is delicious marzipan, with a definite alcohol flavour. Dry, very little marzipan anymore, sadly. It is now dusty nuts with a pastry cherry flavour. I loved the wet stage, but the nuts ruined it for me.

    Halloween: Los Angeles

I don't normally like smoke scents, but this only has a touch of smoke. I mostly get a lovely sage with a bit of smoke. It kind of smells 'hot', like a wildfire burning (as described!) Very evocative, and I just may hunt down a partial.

    Flor De Muerto

I really do like the smell of marigolds, but this turns out to be an extremely heady floral on me, AKA jasmine, lily, gardenia. So, this is a no go, though glad to have tried this! On a positive note, this doesn't go powdery like a lot of heady florals do on me..

    Calaveras

On me, this is a very foody cocoa spice blend. I don't get any tequila, just heavy chocolate and spice. It strongly reminds me of the spicy 13 blend. I think it was November 09, but I'm not positive. Nice, but I don't think I need a bottle.

    Pomegranate IV

Wet, this is bright, cheerful pomegranate. There's a bit of red musk and cocoa floating around, the cocoa really is floating around, and I have to roll the imp. This is kind of reminding me of Hollywood Babylonian, as it ends up being a fruity red musk blend. The cocoa is making this dusty somehow, and as with Hollywood Babylon, this blend is pretty much a failure. Pom is kind of iffy on my skin anyways, so no surprise. It's much to candylike, and musty. Like a swedish berry left in an old couch. Not for me.

    All Souls

This ends up being a slightly tart soft incense blend. I detect a bit of a 'jam' note here. Very unassuming, and a 'blend in' kind of fragrance if that makes sense. If you didn't want to be noticed, this is a very mild, close to the skin scent. Nice, but not really my style.

    Halloween: San Francisco

This ends up being somewhat sharp, wet greenery on me. It reminds me of Vancouver in winter, when it's raining, which kind of makes sense as San Francisco is further south. A lovely, fresh blend that would be lovely in the spring. This is nice, but a little bit too sharp for me.

    The Byronic Antihero

This one is a dark, sweet patchouli masculine blend. I get a hint of woods, and something tobacco-like. It kind of reminds me a bit of The Marquis de Carabas, but that one is better. This is a great masculine blend however, and I'd probably feel like attacking any hot guy that wore it!
