    Black Lily

Very realistic lily when wet. As it dries, a dark musk comes out. This smells like something a sophisticated more mature woman would wear. That being said, after a bit, the musk dominates, and I LOVE it! Very sexy and dark with a touch of sweet lily. I certainly will enjoy the imp, but the middle stage is a bit hard to wear.

    Burning Vulva

At first, this is all about the red ginger, which is a bit overpowering. Gradually, the amber comes out and the ginger takes a back seat. It's more of a creamy spice now. In spite of this creaminess, it is kind of fresh and a bit citrussy at the same time. I was worried about the red ginger, but it is behaving nicely here. I think this is a keeper, it's nice, just fresh from the mailbox, and I'm betting this will get better with age. I'd say it was a 'happy' burning vulva if that makes sense, not sharp, inviting and very very saxy!!

    Vicomte de Valmont

Oh, this is very manly one! I'm getting bright citrussy musk with coconut, or something sweet here. After a bit, it is more subdued, not as bright, and the sweetness is gone. Reminds me of a guy right out of the shower, with a manly shower gel scent wafting out of the bathroom. There's a bit of cologney aftershave wafting from him. This would be nice on a guy, but not for me.

    Red Lace

I knew I would love this just from the bottle. I'm getting vanilla cotton with a dash of tart pomegranate and raspberry spice. It kind of reminds me a bit of Shalimar, or one of the other 'old fashioned' classic perfumes that never go out of style. I think there is the same spice as in Shalimar, but it's not exactly like it. The fruit is not overpowering at all, in fact, everything is very well balanced. As it dries it gets this wonderful musk, and melds even better to my skin chemistry. I'm probably going to need a back-up of this, as I find it better than Black Lace and Antique Lace put together. The color red is definitely portrayed well here, and it's my fave color, so this is definitely a win for me!

    Shadows of What May Be

Wet, grasses and weeds. Dry, a bit more subdued grasses, but there is the dirt thrown in. I like the grassy part of this blend, it kind of reminds me of Traipsing Through Crop Circles, but I've never been a dirt fan, and the dirt is definitely there. Fun to try!

    Harvest Moon 2010

Wet this is juicy apple with a bit of spice. As it dries, still fruity, but the leaves are coming out more, and I really get the mulling spices as well. In fact, I would say that it is spice dominant now. This is nice, but not something I'd wear. I think it's more suited for a room fragrance.

    The Chained Phantoms

This is heavy perfumey metal on me. No icy wine note to speak of. If it were anything, it would be a frozen iron pipe in an industrial area. Sour and metallic.

    Himerus

Very fresh, light floral on me. There may be a bit of musk and sandalwood here, but it fades in and out. I like this, but it fades really fast, and it is just a bit on the florally side for me.

    Autumn and Winter

I really must explore this dry leaf note, as I'm running into it here and there, and enjoy it quite a bit. In this blend, however, the aquatics kind of overwhelm the leaves after a bit. When wet, this blend is amazing, but the ozone just takes over. Will keep an eye out for dry leaf blends, though!

    Ignorance and Want

Yuck, from wet to dry, this smells like rotting weeds and vetiver. Definitely not for me.

    Anne Beany

RUM of course! This is a warm, brown sugar rum, aka Hot Buttered Rum. Very yummy, and is kind of making me crave something sweet. After a bit, this is starting to go musty, like some heavy sweet boozy blends to on me. I don't really wear scents like this, but it would probably make a lovely, warm room scent.

    Cold Moon

This is for the 04 version. Honestly, this is very faint on me. It is ozoney with a bit of white florals. As it dries, it's more cold and musky rather than florally. I don't really get mint here, but I think this would be nice in the summer. This is for the '10 version. At first, it is quite medicinal, with eucalyptus. As it dries, it is ozoney with more mint and less musky than the '04 version. I like both, and will use them both during warmer months to cool down with.

    The Peacock Queen

2010 version: This rose doesn't seem haughty to me! It ends up being a sweet, red rose with emphasis on the sweet. I don't think I've tried a rose blend that is this sweet before. I'm not really a rose perfume lover, but I like that this doesn't go sour on me like a lot of roses do. Quite nice, but not really me. If you love rose, I'd give this one a whirl. 2011 version: Sweet rose again, but this one does go quite soapy.

    Love-In-Idleness

At first, this is strong floral, kind of soapy and rather unpleasant to a pretty much non-floral person. As it dries, though, something wonderful happens. A beautiful soft musk mixes with the florals and it is now a slightly floral beautful musk. This blend reacts very nicely with my chemistry, though it's kind of hard to explain how. Kind of reminds me a bit of Trinket, though not as musky. May upgrade to a bottle eventually after the imp is used.

    Bayou

Wet to dry, this is heady floral on me. I can imagine this scent on a warm summer night in the deep South with crickets and lots of swamp creatures. Much too floral for me, though, but very evocative and what I'd imagine the Bayou to smell like.

    WILF

This is very much like other reviewers have noted, Snake Oil, Snake Charmer, Wulric, and Boomslang. Same family, but unique in its own way. I don't really get the Mme Moriarty comparison, though, but I don't think Snake Charmer and Mme smell alike either. This is Snake Oil without the spices, Snake Charmer without the plum, Wulric without the lavender and pretty darn close to Boomslang, though not as sweet. There is also a dollop of mint in there for good measure. Quite similar to Vixen and Paduan Killer Swarm too. But enough with the comparisons, this is amazing, and I need a bottle NAOW!!

    Snow White

At first, this is quite different than my 07 bottle. I'm getting mint and a bit of snow and the bright, crisp florals. I am really loving this version so far! It does end up drying down to pretty much a dead ringer of my 07 bottle, though. A warm vanilla with a bare whisp of mint and flowers. It is just a bit plastic, but maybe age will take care of that. I have and love my Snow White, and don't use it much, so I don't need more.

Christmas Eve in the Counting House

At first, I get some strong woods. As it dries, it kind of smells aquatic and woods, a bit odd. I would say it's more aquatic now than woods. I love me a good wood blend, but this is just a bit to ozoney for me.

    Midnight Mass

This is a review for the 2010 version, and I do have a bottle of the 08 version. To me, this is Christmas in a bottle, there's an incensey evergreen vibe to it, and it's just the most amazing Christmas scent. The aged version is nicer, though, less dusty and stronger with more evergreen. This is the smell of an outdoor shop selling Christmas trees. Love it, and I always wear it around the holiday season.

    Polar Bear Plunge Bath Oil

This starts out strong minty snow with a touch of sweetness. It does fade fairly quickly on me, but quite refreshing while it lasts. I was hoping for a bit more vanilla sweetness, but I like this enough to keep, and will probably use it more in the summertime.

    TKO Massage Oil

Yes, this is TKO wrapped up in delicious massage oil. Vanilla and lavender, but not fake, and leaves this skin very soft. I like it better than the TKO perfume oil because this envelops your whole body, and not just where you apply it. I was out like a light, and didn't even get to enjoy it much before I fell asleep. I woke the next morning to still fairly strong TKO scent. My pyjamas smell wonderful and I can never be without this!

    Queen of Sheba

At first, this is kind of sweet almond with a weird spice. This really reminds me of Lush's Flower Market perfume with that weird spice thing going on. It's kind of acrid and sweet at the same time, a weird combo. After a bit, the spice goes, and it ends up being an almondy, fresh floral. Quite a morpher, and now it's more like a herbal meadow with grasses. Now it reminds me of Traipsing Through Crop Circles, very nice, but fades very fast and gone within an hour. Boo.

    The Phoenix in Spring

Wet, I love this! Dandelion is forefront, and I adore that note. Dry, the dandelion disappears, unfortuneately, and we're left with a mish mash of spring florals. It is nice and fresh, kind of like tulips and grass, but I really wish the dandelion stayed for me. This is not bottle worthy for me, but it is rather lovely and would be nice for spring.

    The Phoenix in Summer

At first, this is red musk with a fresh aquatic feel. I've never smelled red musk with an aquatic note, so this is kind of interesting to me. After a bit, I only get the aquatic, and it's like a 'warm' aquatic, if that makes sense, like warm rain striking a scorching hot pavement. I kind of liked the red musk phase, and don't have enough of the sniffie to further test, but I think the red musk will amp with age. I don't normally like aquatics, but I think I'm going to take a chance with this one, as I really like the wet phase. The Phoeni have been really great this year!

    Changing the Shadows

Wet, this is sharp orange blossom and mint. I know there is no mint listed, but something is translating to mint. As it dries, the orange blossom is less sharp, and there is the lovely tea coming out here with a touch of honey, which must be the vanilla. So we have orange blossom with mint and honey tea, a very nice, fresh combination. This would be lovely in the warmer months, as it is, I'm kind of on the fence with this, as I have honey/orange blossom/tea blends that I like more, though not in this particular combination all together. Must think on this one.
