Wet, this smells like nectar, though I can't say why I get that association, as I've never smelled nectar before. It reminds me of something a hummingbird would feed on, I guess. The floral is very pretty, kind of like jasmine, but not as strong. It doesn't really smell like rose to me, or not the typical bpal rose. This is sweet, and damp, if that makes sense. It is a little too florally sweet for me, but it is a cheerful scent that I'm sure I'll use up.

At first, this is yummy strong almond with a touch of spice. Soon, though, it is all about the cinnamon, and nothing much else on me. There's an annoying dusty vibe going on here with this otherwise lovely blend that sometimes happens with some bpals. I think this is 'OK', but won't be seeking out any more of this. The cinnamon reminds me of Big Red, it smells just like it, and the dusty vibe is just too weird for me.

At first, this is resinous smoke with a touch of leather. As it dries, the florals take the forefront, and are they strong and heady! The vetiver and leather are pretty much drowned out by the florals, but either way, this is definitely not my type of scent.

Very strong spicy, smoky patchouli and incense in the imp. Dry, much the same, though the spice is backing off, and there's more of a chemical feel it now, like bug spray. I only get a touch of leather. This blend is so aggressive on me, and I'm not really like that as a rule, it's also too masculine and strong. This is definitely not me, but if I'm feeling bad-ass, I may use the imp again.

I love a lot of these notes, so I thought this blend would be a 'no brainer'. Wet, very medicinal, as in a herbal remedy, but someone cleaned the floors close by. Dry, well, quite dry smelling and incensey. Where's my amber? This kind of reminds me of 'And There Was a Great Cry in Egypt', that same dryness with the saffron and desert vibe. After, a bit, the rose comes out and it amps, as rose typically does. So this ends up being mostly rose with a touch of medicinal dryness. Not for me, but I'll keep the imp to see if it improves with age.

This oil is green! At first, it even smells green, like stems in a floral shop. Dry, there is more musk, of the cheap department spray variety, so yeah, kind of like hairspray. If I sniff hard, I get some lovely benzoin in the background, but it's mostly cheap musk. For some strange reason, I don't mind it, and may use my imp on occasion.

Wet, I get a bit of fruity musk. Dry still the musks, but the fruity aspect fades and some vanilla comes out, which I'm guessing is the heliotrope, which I love. In spite of this, it still reads somewhat more masculine than gender neutral, the musks are pretty strong. Still, this is nice to try, and I'm looking forward to the layering possibilities.

This is STRONG musk, it actually fit's the name quite well. It smells evil to me! I'm getting a bit of tobacco and lots of musk, it kind of reminds me a bit of Interfector. This is really masculine, but I still like it. I'd like to cuddle up to a guy wearing this, but it is just too masculine for me. There is an underlying sweetness here, kind of like a tough guy who is really a softy at heart.

I really like these fizzy summer scents, though this one isn't as fizzy as some others that I've tried (Velvet Pink Kitty, Spinning Metallic Pinwheel). Still, this is a fresh raspberry/cranberry blend. I can't say that I get the mint at all, well maybe a touch. This will be nice when it actually gets hot here.

Wet, a not-too-sweet refreshing peach. I normally don't like peach scents, I find them too sweet and cloying, but this is really nice. On me, the peach doesn't last all that long, and we're left with a lovely musky amber sandalwood. I all these except for the peach, so I never would have ordered on my own, this was a frimp from the lab. I really adore this, it kind of reminds me of the sweet woodiness of Tombstone, and the vanilla of Lyonesse. I even get a bit of Underpants, though it's not as foody. I'd say this was a foody scent for non foody lovers, which is definitely me. I love surprises, and this is going on my next order in bottle form. eta: Whoops, after an hour or so, this goes uber sweet and cloying on me. The peach is coming out again, and this is way too much sweetness. I wish it stayed the musky sandalwood goodness.

Wet, mostly leather and something astringent and medicinal. Dry, a bit more leather and some herbs. After a bit, the leather fades, and it's more resinous with maybe a bit of vetiver. This blend kind of reminds me of Hunter, but without the amber. This is just a bit too masculine for me, but nice to try.

At first, this smells like mild vetiver. Kind of medicinal. Dry, more sandalwood, but still the bite from the vetiver, and pretty resinous. This really isn't my kind of thing, but I'll definitely try layering it to try to temper the dryness of this blend.

Was very happy to receive this, as I'm going through a particularly difficult time in my life. As for the scent, I mostly get the rose, and I could swear there's a bit of jasmine and lavender. Dry, it doesn't go to powder, but the rose is making itself known. As for the intent, I felt a calm strength, and a determination that I will get through this. Time will tell, and I look forward to using this oil for it's intended purpose.

Wet, this is strong tea and a touch of vanilla. As it dries, it smells like a more boozy vanilla, less tea with a touch of crispness, which I'm guessing is the cotton. A couple of hours later, the vanilla is stronger still, and I can now get a sense of the cognac. The tea is virtually non-existent. This is like an adult foody blend, like homemade creamy vanilla ice cream, with real bits of vanilla with bourbon poured over top. In the distance, someone is sipping on strong brewed tea that is drifting in and out of your ice cream. The tea is 'good', though, the kind that you get from a tea shop and have to brew in those metal sieve thingy's. I love this blend, and so glad I took a chance on two bottles. I'm not really a true foody, but I love foody-like blends with something else to kick the foodiness into a bit of submission, like a musk or in this case tea, and maybe the other notes are contributing. This blend fits that perfectly, and I can only see it get better with age.

At first, I'm getting a musky mandarin. Dry, it morphs into something truly amazing! I'm still getting orange, some sweet musk and glorious resinous amber. It kind of reminds me of the amber in The Harp, though not as sharp. I originally didn't go for this scent because of the gardenia, but it just seems to a a creamy sweetness to it. I really like this, and will use up my two imps and probably try and track down some more at some point.

Leather, spicy woods, musks and a touch of floral. This is kind of sweet, and reminds me a bit of Liz, but without the smoke. It seems like it's the same leather note to me. The sage here is nice as well, sometimes it makes a blend smell too masculine to me, but this gives it a nice, airy freshness. It also reminds me a bit of Western Diamondback. I like this blend, and I will certainly use up the imp.

Wet, very fruity red wine and something foody, like spiced cookies or something. Dry, a spiced red wine, full bodied, but not too alcoholic. Kind of reminds me a bit of Gluhwein, but this is more of a fruit wine rather than a red. Maybe it's the blood note? Whatever the case, it's nice in the dry phase, the wet is a bit muddled. I think I'm getting a bit of warm cocoa now. I like this, but probably not enough for a bottle. Will certainly enjoy the rest of the imp though!

This is quite difficult describe. I know I'm getting creamy florals, and a nutty, butter foody vibe. As it dries, what I mostly get now is the lilac, though I had to peak, as the florals were really difficult to detect on my own. So this ends up being a creamy lilac on me with a touch of sweet vanilla musk. Yes, it sounds nice, but I've yet to find a lilac note that actually smells like REAL lilacs, which I adore. This blend kind of reminds me of Penis Admiration, probably because of the lilac. This is 'OK', and I like it, but it really isn't the kind of scent I wear. I love to find a lilac blend that smells real on me.

So happy to get to try this!! At first, this is a dry, slightly sweet musky vanilla. This is quite reminiscent of Haloes, to me, though not as strong a wood base. It also reminds me of Celeste, though not as sweet. Kind of a combination of Haloes and Celeste, though Elf v4 doesn't last near as long as either of them. I'm wondering if this one didn't make the cut because of the fade factor. I really like this, it is a borderline vanilla foody, with a bit of musk, but it fizzles out pretty quickly on me. I'd definitely get some if it became available, but I won't sell my kidney for it.

This is a wet, watery violet scent with a touch of orris on me. I love violet, and this does not disappoint. It kind of reminds me a bit of Violet Ray, but with more things going on besides the mint. In spite of this, I wish I got the patch and the heliotrope, as these are among my fave notes. I seem to get it in the imp, but not on. Maybe with time, they'll poke through. As it is, it is a lovely fresh floral violet blend, that does not go powdery, even with the orris. It's a nice change from sweet violet blends, which I like as well. I'll certainly keep and enjoy the imp!

Wow, uber fruity floral!! Pom and rose as described, with the rose ending up being the more dominant note on me. I think the pom is helping keep the rose from going sour on me, as this smells like the kind of rose that does that, a deep red, velvety rose. I would say, wear this oil if you want to get noticed, it just screams, "look at me, I'm feminine and flirty and available". That being said, I don't think it's a sexy blend, just an attention getter. I'm not sure how much I'd wear this, as I'm not a big rose fan, but for a rose blend, it is pretty darned good.

Wet, this smells almost like vetiver, but after it dries, a strong, dry woody incense. This ends up being a very resinous blend, no sweetness, kind of dry with a vague spicy feel. I'm not really digging this blend, I like my incense with certain florals or amber. Nice to try though!

At first, lovely fresh ginger as described with milk chocolate. I really want to eat something like this now. The ginger seems like it is the same one from Opuhi, one of my summer favourites. As it dries, I get a bit of dustiness, but only briefly, and then it morphs back in to raw ginger, though more subdued, and chocolate deliciousness. I don't get any noticeable butterscotch. If anything, maybe it adds to the sweetness of the blend. I really enjoyed the effervescent ginger phase, and am still liking the yumminess of this blend, though I am finding I'm craving ginger and chocolate now! However I don't wear uber foody blends, and I'd say this would classify as such. If there was some added musk here, I may have been all over this blend. As it is, it's just too foody for me.

Wet, fresh floral, not heady and would be great on a warm day. Dry, it really smells like honeydew melon to me, maybe it's the ocean water and florals combining giving me that impression. Jasmine has a tendency to take over a blend on me, but I don't even get a whiff of it here. As time goes on, it becomes more musky. So I'm getting a muted musky honeydew melon. Very nice, and I'll probably use the imp on hot summer days.

At first, this is milk chocolate, bacon and a touch of smoke. It smells really edible, and I need to find a chocolatier that makes bacon chocolates. The smoke is kind of off-putting though, but it quickly fades and the cassia comes out. It finally ends up being kind of like a mellow spice scent, really cookie-like. Maybe a touch of chocolate now, the bacon and smoke are gone. Fun to try, but this really isn't my kind of blend to wear, though. I really want bacon chocolates some day....
