Very perfumey at first, and then the vanilla pokes out. I can thell that this is an amazing warm vanilla, but the musky perfume just seems to overpower it. Not for me.

A sniffie from the fabulous Funny! Very perfumey, but with a freshness about it, like a mint or herb. I can't comment on how it is in the air, but if it is anything like what I'm smelling on the cotton, I would not like my living area to smell so perfumey. Nice to get to see how it smells though!

Yup, this is patchouli alright! Not really getting much else here, but from what I remember reading other reviews, I think you have to roll the bottle, and I don't think I did. Pretty much a earthy patchouli on me, very much like the Urban Outfitter prototype UOH34. Wishing the vanilla and tobacco was there, but maybe that will make an appearance with some age. Unless it changes, I don't think I'll keep this one, as the UO prototypes are pretty similar. Will keep, though for a few months to be sure.

I've heard that this is the best '13', so when it was up on e-bay, I managed to snag a bottle on one of the lab's auctions. In the bottle and briefly on, this is a warm vanilla with a touch of orange. I can't comment on the similarieties to XCDL13, but the orange here smells quite a bit like the orange in Jingo Kogo, a blend that I love. Dry, a musky vanilla, with the barest hints of orange, with the sandalwood holding it all together and keeping it from being too foody. This is AMAZING, and so glad I got a bottle. I just had to add that I was racking my brain trying to figure out what else this reminded me of, so I did a side by side of Storyville. The two end up being very similar, though '13' is more vanilla and slight orange, ande Storyville is more spice. Both have the boozy vanilla quality.

This one is orange, and smells like a masculine mandarin. Once it hits the water, it fizzles and makes the bath milky, but no bubbles. The scent is gone pretty fast. Really nothing special here, but I'll have to try the others.

As others have mentioned, this is a tropical scent. I'm getting soft fruits and warm, creamy coconut. The coconut does not go dusty on me, which is a pleasant surprise, so I'm guessing the actual bark works better with my skin chemistry. I'm really not getting any lily here, but maybe my skin doesn't pick up lily. This is a great tropical blend, without the tropical florals, and my second fave after Opuhi. It really will pick me up while craving the sunshine and would be a great vacation scent. Very nice, and this may be worthy of a bottle upgrade.

Wet, it's kind of a boozy chocolate. The booziness kind of reminds me of Storyville at this point, only with cocoa. This fades to an earthy, musky cocoa blend, not unlike some of the '13's that are out there. I wish it stayed how it was wet, but still, this is OK, and I'll certainly enjoy my decant!

This smells like Sugar Skull in the bottle, not a good sign. On, there is a bit of a lemon citrus vibe along with brown sugar. It's a bit better on the skin, but still quite a bit like Sugar Skull to me. Glad I only got a decant of this, I was really hoping for cotton candy.

First of all, the smell is GORGEOUS, of course, it's Snake Oil, but still. It is strong true Snake Oil, and I only used a few squirts, so a little will go a long way. I applied with my fingertips through the uppermid tresses and down to the ends. My hair is fine and long (over halfway down my back), and there was no greasiness noted whatsover. The Snake Oil smell is less after I blowdried, but still there. Somehow, it's seems even a bit thicker, but that could be my imagination. So far there are no fly aways, and my hair is very shiny. Also, I used no regular conditioner, and my brush went right through my wet hair no problem at all. I love this, and will upgrade to a big bottle as soon as funds allow. I'll probably try one of the others, too.

Wet, very bitter greens. Dry, a soft green grassy smell, with a few floral weeds thrown in. This fades super fast on me, and it wasn't really my thing anyways.

Wet, to dry, the rose dominates on me with a bit of sandalwood poking through. I do tend to amp rose, so no surprise there. This is definitely not for me, too strong and rose perfumey for my tastes.

I'm finding a lot of these Pickman scents very woody and resinous. This one is no exception, very strong and pungent woodniness in the imp, but does settle down a bit dry. A 'rubber' scent comes out to, so it smells like wood and rubber. I'm glad I didn't wear this before going out, as this really isn't working, though I have to say, that rubber note I have not smelled before in any bpal, it really is awful on me.

This smelled very strong and slightly bitter in the imp, so I was a little apprehensive to try it on. On, still STRONG woods, masculine with a touch of something really unpleasant, I don't even want to say what it smells like. Dry, a different story. Soft woods, and a touch of leather. The teakwood here smells rich, heady and masculine, though I bet some females could pull this off. I'd be all over a guy wearing this, it's very comforting and snuggly. I like this, but it is a bit too masculine for me. I'm thinking this will be astounding with some age behind it.

This smells very green and fresh in the imp, nothing post mortem here! I'm not sure if I've smelled ivy before, but I do get an unfamiliar plant smell along with a powdery sandalwood. This is very pretty, but a bit too 'perfumey' for my liking.

I would describe this scent as a 'fluffy cinnamon'. At first, there's a bit of smokiness on me, but that quickly fades. It's an OK blend to me, but nothing I'd spring money for, even a decant. If you like spicy foody, you'd love this. It kind of reminds me a bit of Gingerbread Poppet.

I was looking forward to this, as I love lime. Sadly, I get no lime, not even in the wet stages. What I do get is strong wood at first, which dries to a powdery, soft cedarwood. No real appearance of other notes, though it does smell like a certain freshness to the wood, which may be the lime. Not for me, but nice to try!

I'm not really a foody, though there are exceptions. This ends up being a wonderful warm, butter spicy pumpkin, with the spices leaning on the 'dark side'. It is perfectly balanced with the creamy, sweet pumpkin. I really like this, but don't know how often I'd wear it, as it is very specific to fall time and the snow is already flying up here. The decant will certainly suffice, though, and I'm sure I'll use it up over time.

Wet, I smell like a head shop, but I really think it's the vetiver, or something that smells like it! Thankfully this fades pretty quickly and we're left with a fresh, green smelling blend on me with a touch of sandalwood. I never would have guessed this would smell so pretty with the dark notes it has. I only trial tested this, as I'm going out soon and didn't want to smell like a just smoked a doobie. Will do a test with more oil later, but it is quite nice for initial interpretations in spite of the beginning stage.

Wet, kind of a vague powdery floral, must be the magnolia. It kind of smells like violet. Dry, powdery soft floral with a bit of musk thrown in. Not for me, but I think it would be work appropriate.

It seems like blends with a lot of notes still end up smelling like one or two note perfumes on me. Wet to dry, I'm getting the black currant and jasmine, nothing else really, though I'm wishing I would get the darker notes others seem to be getting. Pretty much a run-of-the-mill fruity floral, not unlike some other bpal blends. Not for me, but nice to try!

Vanilla-soaked linen accord with lavender, opium poppy, Moroccan jasmine, golden amber, white honey, and blackened fruit gums. Wet, strong medicinal lavender with dark fruits. This reminds me of Moon of the Terrible, with the fruity lavender, one of my fave bedtime scents for the summer. Dry, dusty florals with the dark fruit. Something isn't meshing here, I'm guessing there is pom, which sometimes goes dusty on me. I was really hoping for vanilla soaked linen, but not getting that at all. Not for me.

At first, fresh tropical grapefruit. I'm not sure what is causing the tropical feel, it's almost like there is a bit of a coconut note to it. The grapefruit fades pretty fast on my skin, and we're left with a soft honey note with maybe a teeny bit of musk. OK, but nothing bottle worthy, I have honey/musky/summery blends that I like a lot better. Nice to try, though!

Wet, very herby medicinal. Dry, the hay is dominant here, followed closely by the pepper and a touch of patch. I did smell the cocoa early on, but it is non existent now. I love the smell of hay, and the pepper seems to balance it out. Still, I wish it was more chocolate. I'm going to retest my sniffie later and see if I can get that darn globule of cocoa to come out, as I do like this.

This really smells kind of like Spanked to me, only with less spice and more leather. I got a bit of coffee at first, but it faded quite quickly on me. I may do a side by side comparison with Spanked and see if I like this better.

I love black musk, and this one does not disappoint. Wet, it's very faint, but all the scent grows stronger as it dries. I'm mostly getting black musk and a touch of clove. This reminds me of Panther Moon, somewhat, but with the added clove.
