    Siberian Musk

This is my first bottle of SN, and I am not disappointed! At first, I'm getting the musk I recognize in Snake Oil, but what this really reminds me of is Wilf, Panther Moon, and Black Temple Burlesque Troupe. I'm wondering if the Siberian Musk is the same as Black Musk. If it is not, it is very similar. Later on, it does fade more than any of the said comparisons, so yes, a Snake Oil or Wilf lite. Maybe age will make this scent last longer and become more robust. I can't wait to try this with soft, sweet blends, to give them more of an edge, and with other vanilla's, like Celeste and Lyonesse. So happy to have this, and will treasure it as long as it lasts!!

    Con Cramp Relief Massage Oil

Very medicinal, but does fade fast. There's mostly mint and eucalyptus for me, and does kind of remind me of those 'rubs' for sore muscles. I wouldn't wear this for it's scent, but the feeling I get after having a shower and rubbing this oil in, is like having a long soak in the tub. This is amazing stuff, because I normally don't have a pronounced relaxed feeling after a shower. I need to track down more, as I have lots of problems with my muscles. Wow!!

    Boober

This is rather soapy at first, but in a good way if that makes sense. Kind of a soft, floral laundry soap. Pretty much the same dry. This reminds me of what an airy laundry room would smell like with the window open on a spring day. Totally clean and springlike. I really don't wear scents like this, I was actually hoping for more vanilla and linden flower. I do think that this would be great added to an unscented cleaning product, though, and that is what I'm going to do with this imp.

    La Belle au Bois Dormant

Heady, tropical floral, quite damp as described. Turns soft quickly. Nice, but not my kind of blend.

    Pink Moon 2012

At first, I'm getting the dreaded white chocolate note that smells utterly fake on me. Thankfully, it fades (it normally doesn't!), and we're left with spicy phlox and sugar dusted florals. I'm getting a bit of tartness, which I'm guessing is the strawberry, which doesn't smell like fake strawberries, or strawberry candy. I like this, though I do get a faint hint of the white chocolate now and then. This would be a great spring blend, and I'll probably drag it out then.

    The Vampire Bride

This is the 2011 version. Kind of a white cold floral at first, then morphs to a spicy blend. Very little floral now, I'm thinking the myrrh, tea and saffron on dominating on my skin. Even though it's spicy, it smells kind of 'cold' somehow. This reminds me of a high end perfume, or something that should be a high end perfume, it just has that quality to it. This is 'OK', but not something I would wear that often. 2012 version: The oil is a beautiful reddish pink, leaning on the pink, very pretty! Scentwise, I'm getting grapefruit, or something citrussy at first, really liking it so far. It then morphs to the spicy, resiny blend that was the 2011 version. This may be worth a decant, as I like spicy resins once in awhile, but I don't need a bottle.

    L’Essence de L’Ardeur

This is definitely a lovely counterpart to the bath oil, which I adore, but this one is a bit more rosey and a little less chocolatey. Because of this, I like the bath oil more, but this is quite nice. A soft tea rose with chocolate that fades quite quickly. I'll have to try the oil and the essence together, maybe it will hold the chocolate more. I guess I like roses and chocolate, even though I'm not much of a rose fan!!

    Deep in Earth

There was a time when I couldn't stand earth scents, but I really don't mind them now. Much better than some of the sweet stuff (for me), actually. This is all dirt at first, and then the rose geranium and dirt, to make an earthy comforting scent in the end. I like geranium, and don't see it very much, so I am really digging this blend. (he he)

    Harvest Moon 2012

This is very abrasive at first, with fresh leaves and strong spices. Dry, the cherry comes out and the spices tone down to create a spiced Black Cherry Cider, with the touch of leaves in the background. I really like this, it's very evocative, and I'm sure I'll use up my decant.

    Blauer Mond

Very TAL like at first, a herbal lavender. It dries down to a soft, floral lavender, very much like Silver Phoenix on me. I could swear that there's moonflower here, but it's not listed. This is a soft, wispy ethereal blend, I'll probably use it at bedtime, it seems like that soft, comforting kind of scent. I'll probably use the decant, but an upgrade is not necessary.

    Mouse Circus

Wet, this is Midway with the addition of salty peanuts. Dry, the similarities to Midway end (on me at least), and we're left with a buttery caramel popcorn. Don't get me wrong, it still smells like the Fair, but in a different way, like a couple of different food booths. Whereas Midway is more cotton candy and caramel apple, this is is more popcorn, peanuts and caramel. I really like Midway, but this, not so much. It is much too buttery and carbohydrate heavy, if that makes sense. I like Midway's cotton candy and caramel. A bit of a disapointment, as I was hoping to get a Midway replacement since I (regretfully) swapped away my bottle.
  12. Lots and lots of milk chocolate at first, with a touch of mushroom. Dry, more of a chocolate marshmallow cream, no mushroom now to speak of, though it may be adding to the blend that I'm not aware of. This is really delicious, it is making me crave chocolate, though I don't normally wear foody blends like this. There is a slight fake element to this, but not enough to ruin it. I'm sure foody lovers would be all over this.

    Singing Moon

Green, fresh, and florally, but the floral is not heady, it just adds to the airy quality of the blend. I'm getting a 'wet' vibe, though I wouldn't call this an aquatic, more like dew touched meadow ,flowers and grass. This is a lovely spring blend, kind of reminiscent of a GC, but I'll have to look. Maybe Kumiho or Amsterdam? I'll certainly use up the imp, this is quite nice. eta: This is the 2012 version. If a mod could move this, that would be appreciated.

    Pumpkin Hard Candy

A frimp from the lovely Sarah! At first, I'm getting lots of orange candy and a bit of spice. This smells pretty much like an orange jolly rancher at this point. Dry, less orange, more spice, and pulpy pumpkin, though I mean this in the best way possible. The whole scent is rather sweet, though to me it's not a candy any more. I like this, but rarely wear foody scents. This kind of reminds me of Gingerbread Poppet with the addition of pumpkin and a touch of orange. Quite wearable, and I may just use up this imp on lovely fall days.

    Alcie

Fresh fruit, with a bit of fresh greenery and musk at first. Dries to a bright nectarine, quite sweet. I wish the greenery and musk stuck around, but right now, it's just a ripe nectarine, and not very realistic, more like peach nectar. Not really my thing, it's a bit too fruity.

    Detox

Very realistic sour lime, not much sweetness here, but that's OK as I love my citrus! I adore this, but it doesn't last long, probably less than half an hour, so I'm pretty bummed about that. As for effectiveness, I did get this for the scent, but noticed my legs ached after applying. I tend to get muscle aches when a food doesn't agree with me, and maybe the oil was doing what it was supposed to and detoxifying. It actually felt like I'd had aspartame, which gives me bad leg cramps. Interesting.

    Woods in Winter

This is mostly a cold, menthol snow note with a teeny touch of blonde wood, though I probably wouldn't have known it was there, but I just assumed because of the name of the oil. A bit of sweet vanilla here. This isn't bad, though I probably don't need any more.

    Hellcat

At first, I'm getting lots of almond, which I do like a lot. Pretty soon, something sweet and nutty comes out, and it's now more foody, though it was more of a juicy almond/cherry foody before. I liked the beginning stages better. Dry it's a bit too much butterscotch and nuts, something I don't really want to smell like.

    Doozers

Definitely a dirt vibe at first. Dry, still dirt with something fresh and shimmering, like crystal. It kind of reminds me of sitting by the pond with the light dancing off the water, though I wouldn't say this was an aquatic. This is one of those bpals that strengthens as it dries and the end effect is a clear, crystal blend, it *almost* smells medicinal. I would love to see this particular note in other blends, maybe it would be nice with a vanilla. As it is, the dirt note is too strong, and ultimately not wearable for me.

    Crossroads

This smells pretty much like a TAL blend to me at first. Herbal, kind of florally, slightly sour. Dry, turned powdery, which makes me think there may be some jasmine or rose here, maybe both. I may use this in ritual work, as I feel like I'm in Crossroads in life right now, but otherwise, this isn't my type of blend.

    Diable en Boîte

I remember not liking the 2010 version, but either my tastes have changed, or the oil has. I'm getting fresh, spicy greenery with a touch of maybe cranberry or mulberry with woods in the background. This is gorgeous, and I must read back to see what happened the last time around. This is sophisticated, fresh, airy and just a lovely blend all around. Must track down more!! Unfortuneately, this becomes metallic on me. It is nice for the first bit though!

    Red Velvet Truffle

Lot's of boozy chocolate at first. Still boozy when dry, with the chocolate now kind of dusty. This reminds me of some other chocolate blend, but I can't think of what. At any rate, it smells too fake to me, like stale old chocolate twinkies, if there were such a thing. It's almost fruity, which may be what is ruining this for me.

    Van Van

Smells like a utility blend alright, kind of herbal, a touch of sourness (maybe rose?) with powder. I don't mind the smell of this, there was only a teeny drop in an aged imp, though it's not something I'd seek out for a scent. I'll report back on any effects!

    Lightning

Soapy aquatic at first, then somthing odd appears with the aquatic, though I'm kind of at a loss of what it is. Something green, I think, but a bitter green, like stinging nettles. I love a good aquatic, but they are few and far between, Ded Moroz for one. This does fade from soapy, but it's still not wearable.

    Blooming Rose

At first, a soft, sweet pink rose. Very subtle, I can hardly smell it. As it dries, it strengthens, and the honey comes out, and the rose does what it does often on me, turns sour, but not much here, the honey must be counteracting or something. Not getting other florals, though this is a pretty aged sniffie. Not bad for a rose scent, but I don't need any more.
