    Pink Snowballs Bath Oil

I use the bath oils as moisturizer after a shower. I hate to let the precious go down the drain! OK, on to the review:) At first, this blend seems a bit more 'icy' and snow-like than the perfume. On, pretty much the perfume, a rose scented lotion. This is OK with me, as I'm weird and like lotion scented anything once in awhile. I like this, and will enjoy the decant and keep my eye out for more.

    Death-Fires Dancing Over the Tombs

This a STRONG version of the lab's ice note with just a touch of vetiver, although I probably wouldn't have know it was there if I didn't have a look at the description. Not my thing.

    Rags to Royalty Bath Oil

I really like this. It's a patch blend that is muted and feminine with a touch of cocoa to make it interesting. This is a princess who has 'been there done that', and is not afraid to get her hands dirty, who may have a few secrets of her own. I'll enjoy my decant, and keep my eye out for more.
  4. This one ends up being sharp and sour on me. I think the note combinations are just not working here with my skin chemistry. All the bad things about rose are coming through, not really getting the patch, I'm just amping the nasty qualities of the rose. Boo.

    Ezekiel's Phoenix

This is pomegranate and plum overload on me, but it's far sweeter than any pom or plum I've smelled from the lab. This would probably appeal to a young teenage girl, although my skin may be what's doing odd things to this blend. The frank comes out in a bit, and now it's reminding me kind of like Bordello. Not for me, not into uber sweet, fruity blends anymore, although I probably would have been all over this a few years ago.

    Tacitus' Phoenix

Incense and resin. This is bright and shiny, like brass would smell if it had a scent. Reminds me of some of the Yule blends this year with the frankincense, one I tried yesterday, actually, The Village Legend Lives On, though this one seems to have less frank and more going on. Not for me.

    Village Legend Lives Long

This blend is really all about the frankincense. It smells a lot like Midnight Mass to me, only a bit more sharper and 'rough around the edges'. This really reminds me of Xmas.

    Peacock Queen Bath Oil

Lush, sophisticated, red rose. Just as the description says. I'm not into rose that often, but when I am, this one really fits the bill.

    Gingerbread Troll

This is gingerbread with an extra bite of sharpness, like evil gingerbread:) Kind of reminds me The Flesh Eating Reindeer From Uranus that was available several years ago from Dark Delicacies. This blend seems angry and cranky. Kind of like a troll. I don't mind it, but don't need any more.

    Scrappy Damsel

I was quite excited when I heard comparisons to Kryshee, as that is one of my all time fave blends:) On me, no. At first, I can smell the neroli, but then the WHITE MUSK amps and ruins everything for me. I'm also getting an odd sweet caramel note. This is really odd on me, perfumey, foody, musky, and not in a good way. Glad to have dodged a bullet, and quite happy I still have lots of Kryshee left:)
  11. Sweet caramel, with something fresh, like ocean air. I love the ocean air part of this blend, but the caramel is not one of my favourite scents to wear. I would, however, like to eat whatever the foody version would be though! As it dries, the fresh scent disappears, and we're left with salty caramel cookies. If anyone has made cookies with SKOR bits in it, I think this would be very similar. Nice to try, but I don't generally wear foody blends.

    Gingerbread Satyr

Ok now, this is GOOD!! I really like Satyr, it is animalistic, raw sexual masculine energy. The spices fem it up a bit in Gingerbread Satyr. I'm getting musky gingerbread with a touch of vanilla, which is probably just the Snake Oil. This may be the actual blend where I buy a gingerbread scent, no others have lived up to my picky expectations. This is what I though Gingerbread Snake would smell like. Hmm, not sure how I'm going to afford this, but I NEEDS it my PRECIOOOOUS.

    Gingerbread Snake

Lots of ginger, I'd say it's more sharper and less sweet than Gingerbread Poppet. Not getting a lot of Snake Oil, it's all about the gingerbread. After a bit, there's a teeny bit of Snake Oil, but gingerbread is still dominant. I really don't need this, it's kind of nice, but I'd like a more 'snakey' vibe, and I can layer another spice scent and get pretty much the same effect. Asp Viper is a much nicer spicy snake that is not spice dominant if that makes sense.

    Unhappily Ever After

This smells effervescent in the bottle. On, I'm getting fresh white grapes and that effervescent note and a touch of bourbon vanilla. This is bright and cheery and great for waking one up. I really like this, but will probably use my decant more in the summer.

    Black Snowballs

Very berry indeed! Tart dark berries and snow. It is the snow note that turns to fungus on me though. Not for me, and it does get kind of sharp and perfumey along with the fungus. Boo. No licorice.

    Nefarious Plan Bath Oil

Delicious raw patchouli and a touch of sweetness from the caramel at first and a bit of raw tea. Caramel and tea note fades, but this somehow still smells sweet. Yum yum, this is sooo nice, very glad to have the decant and will use it when I'm in a 'patchy' mood.

    The Burying-Ground

Pretty much dirt through and through for me. I'd never wear this, (though I'm pretty fond of Death Cap which has a similar dirt note), but it does remind me of spring and digging in the dirt. *sigh* I think I have cabin fever with the copious amount of snow we have here.

    Skadi

This is so lovely, never tried it prior to these Yules, but ordered a bottle straight off. Overall, this is pretty much like The Ice Queen to me, though this one probably has more evergreen. I love both, but don't know if I need both:), plus with Ded Moroz, (which I also find quite similar) I think I'm set for delicious ice/snow notes. I will do a side by side tomorrow and report back. This really is quite amazing though, and fans of DM or IQ should give this a try:)

    Le Père Fouettard

I was so happy when this was a Yule this year! I love the little imp I have, and knew I needed a bottle, and I'm glad I did. I'm getting a more masculine vibe from this version, though I bet it just needs to age a bit. So it kind of smells like pipe tobacco to me, with licorice and leather. Totally LOVE. The imp I have is more foody, see above and less on the licorice. So glad I have a bottle, to me it's a unisex blend, and I'd probably swoon if I smelled this on a guy. WIN.

    Dorian Hair Gloss

I love love love Dorian perfume. So I had to jump on the hair gloss:) This is the same musky tea vanilla scent as the perfume, and I'm in love. I tend to smell Dorian as more feminine than masculine, and more of a spring or summer scent, so I will enjoy this more in the warmer months.

    Eldritch Dark

I'm getting something rather almond-like at first, giving this blend a rather 'Haute Macabre' vibe. It reminds me of it a lot, though not sure where I'm getting the almond from. The 'almond' fades quickly, though and we're left with a glorious red musk, honey and something darker and just a touch of rose. Very nice, and sexy, reminds me a lot of the bath oil, and Calidora. I really like this, and wish I got a full bottle, not a half. Le Sigh.

    Ovid's Phoenix

Trying this earlier today, the notes don't really match what I smelled. Lot's of lush tropical flowers with greenery, I didn't detect any cinnamon or myrhh. I got mostly a lush tropical aquatic. Weird. My sniffer is broke, or my skin is totally off.

    Blue Lollipops

Yummy, sweet and sour blueberry. This would be great for a teen, I think, it's fun and sweet and smells like a blueberry slurpee. I like this, but not enough for a bottle. I'll probably use my decant in summer months.

    The Future Ball

I'm getting rosy incense, quite lovely. The rose becomes more muted as time goes on. This is quite similar to Rose Cross to me, only a gentler version. A little bit powdery, which incense and rose blends often do on me, but I don't mind and often enjoy powdery blends. I likey, but probably wouldn't wear this too much. Midnight on the Midway and Witch Dance are probably my favourite incense blends.

    Achluophobia

Masculine, inky black blend. I rather like it, but I'll never wear it. I'm getting the black musk and tobacco, mostly with a touch of patch. I'd like to smell this on a guy, but it's too masculine for me to wear.
