    Formula 57 Massage Oil

Slightly floral vanilla, it reminds me a bit of rice flower and vanilla, quite similar to Castitas, but I thought that one was much too sweet. I really like the scent of this, though it is quite soft. I find the massage oils much more suited to after shower use than the bath oils, it makes my skin very soft without an oily feeling, though the bath oil is *almost* as good. Hmmmm, I may splurge for a bottle, but gotta think on it a bit, as this is kiiind of foody, though it is pretty darn nice on.

    Awabi Divers

The description sounded lovely, but it seems like the vetiver is amping on me, with a close battle with the patchouli, though I certainly don't get any vanilla here, it would probably smell amazing. For now, this is 'no', unless something miraculous happens. The whole effect is green masculine on me.

    Lust Bonbon

This was one luper I HAD to try before they went down. I love Lust and cocoa in scents, so I thought that this would be a no brainer. Color me disappointed. It is a fake chocolate, like those cheap Easter bunnies in a discount store. There's something fruity, too, that's making this worse than it already is. I strongly dislike fruit with my cocoa blends, and this is possibly one of the worst bpals I've tried. The musk comes out after a bit, but the yucky fake chocolate/fruit is just 'there'. I'll stick to my fave cocoa scents, Boomslang, Boomslang v2, Black Temple Burlesque Troup and Velvet.

    The Blooming Flowers of Spring

Honey at first, a lovely floral honey. Dries to a floral soap, though, with a touch of honey. I love honey and amber on me, but this one just doesn't deliver.

Destructive Vagina of the Fox Spirit

This one is hard to describe. Kind of fruity, kind of musky, with a bit of sweetness and resins thrown in. Was more orangelike when wet, but dry, it's kind of a resin musk with a touch of orange spice. It's not unlike one of those clove studded oranges, but not with clove, if that makes sense. This really isn't my type of blend, but it's kind of appealing in a way. Reminds me more of a Yule blend than a Shunga.

    She Whose Handmaiden Was Love

Whoops! Even though jasmine is listed as the last note here, it STOMPS all over everything asserting itself as usual. No resins or spices to speak of. I don't mind jasmine in small doses, but this is just an obnoxious jasmine saying "I'm here don't ignore me!!!" Just a bit too much for me..

A Peculiar Game of Shoji Bath Oil

Fruity tea at first, very nice. Dries to a sugared tea. I like this, but it's rather faint on me. I really have to LOVE a blend to purchase it these days, can't afford just likes:), so I won't be upgrading, though this is quite nice.
  8. I thought this was one of my tester lupers not realizing there was a half decant here and literally got a whole bunch of oil, so this is slather city here:) Getting white rose for sure, almond, and something that smells like amber. The almond fades pretty quickly, but the rose is still going strong with the 'amber', but what must be the tea. This reminds me of White Rose from the Unity set. Very nice, though it's not something I'd wear. I love the amber note here, even if it isn't amber:)

    Formula 72 Massage Oil

Mmmm, this is so yummy, and this is coming from a non-foody bpaler! I'm getting rich, creamy vanilla with just a touch of coconut, to make it not too much like the beach. I'm getting a bit of milk chocolate here too. It smells like the most delicious dessert in a fancy restaurant. A bit of musk would make this more wearable for me, it kind of smells like the vanilla from Snake Oil, and without the spices. I'm kind of getting a scent memory of Anaconda, but I do not have any more to compare. The oil is amazing, and is a great moisturizer, even better than bpal's bath oil. Nice, but a bit too foody for me, though I may try layering it. If you're a foody lover, you HAVE to try this:)

    Absinthe Bonbon

This is not as sweet as I would have thought. Turns into a soft wearable, feminine perfume. And may I emphasize soft, so that it is very faint. Not as much absinthe prominent either. I'm going to pass on this one, as it is just too faint, quite pretty though.

    Crowned and Robed and Dead

Strong woods and resin's, kind of sour and aggressive on me. There is a teeny touch of rose here, but I wouldn't have known it was there if I didn't peek. This blend smells 'cranky' to me, like a pouty woman not getting her way and thinking of when to throw a hissy fit. Teeters on unisex, but probably a bit more on the masculine side. Not for me.

    Plovers Above the Waves

I really thought that this would be more aquatic, but I'm not getting a water feeling at all here. Kind of sweet, slightly fruity, creamy and waxy. It kind of reminds me of some of the beeswax blends that the lab puts out. For awhile, there was this amazing stage that I wish had lasted, it was intoxicating, kind of how a really good amber smells on me, but it was fleeting. This kind of smells like Bonne Belle chapstick after awhile. No need to upgrade.

    Saint Foutin de Varailles

Roses and wine at first, kind of sweet and alcoholic. Dry, still sweet, less boozy, more resinous, still rosy. This is quite nice, but for some reason, I dislike wearing wine blends as I find they can be quite cloying. This one is just a bit too sweet and fruity for me, but I do love the concept.

    Youth's Disengagement

My daughter commented right away on how good I smelled, and she smelled my wrists, but said it smelled better from a distance. What I'm getting is a yummy marshmallow, like the one in TKO, only with different notes added. It's soft, pretty, and fluffy, for lack of a better word. The sandalwoods keeping it from being too foody, and the marshmallow is keeping the currant from being too tart and sharp, which is what I find currant to do sometimes. I really like this, I may track down some more, apart from the similarities with the marshmallow in TKO, this is nothing like any of the other perfumes I own. eta: OK, it does turn to powder after a bit, but I sure liked the beginning stages. I wish it stayed that way, no need to find more, thank goodness, as I think it would have been difficult.

    Fallen Woman Hair Gloss

This is the French Tobacco single note from awhile back, so if you like that's you'll love this. I don't really get the honey or camellia, but maybe it will come out later. This isn't something I need a big bottle of, as the French Tobacco SN is not a favourite of mine, but the gloss is lovely for the hair, as the others are.

    Blood Kiss Bonbon

This is sensual, musky, sweet, (but not too much), and is pretty much ruined by the CHERRY. I would love this blend if it weren't for the cherry that I associate with chocolate covered cherries, which I abhor. The cherry is kind of waxy, but I can tell the base is AMAZING, I love the musk and chocolate, which kind of reminds me of Boomslang and BTBT. This one breaks my heart, but on the other hand, I may re-visit Blood Kiss....

    Smutty Goblin Hair Gloss

I was expecting Smut in hair gloss form, but what I got was brown sugar and cake Doesn't smell like Smut, there's maybe a tiny hint of patchouli, so brown sugar, caramel, cake and patchouli, which sounds nice, but it's not doing anything for me. I love Smut and am rather disappointed in this one, I wish there were more musk and less sweetness and NO caramel.

The Shining Dimple of Love Bath Oil

I really liked this scent in the bottle, tea (the good kind!) with vanilla, what's not to love? On, it smelled kind of medicinal and soapy, but faded pretty fast anyways. End result is a lovely vanilla with a touch of tea, which would be nice, except that I can hardly smell it. No need to upgrade.

    Reflected Vulva

Sweet, sweet, SWEET!! In case you haven't figured this one is very sweet. Too much, so, in fact on me. After a bit, the sweetness quietens down somewhat, and I'm getting a creamy coconut along with what must be the SWEET pea. This was a tester imp, so I'm wondering if the blend will age into something like what I'm experiencing? I too, find this tropical now, like a Pina Colada, creamy coconut and fruit. This is definitely a big miss, though foody lovers may be all over this one. eta: I also get the Snow White comparisons, though this is Snow White at the beach, covered in suntan lotion. Yep, this is the beach.

    Selbstverliebt Bath Oil

I sniffed all my decant bath oils last night, and I think I'm in big trouble They all smell amazing to me. Even though I find the Lab's jasmine note kind of sour at times, this must be the Night Blooming variety, which I do like, or combined with something that tempers the sourness. Because I LOVE IT I'm getting the most delicious vanilla, the base, which is pretty much a dead ringer to Antique Lace to me. In fact, I the throw is pretty much the same, it's just up close that I can smell the jasmine. I haven't ordered a full bottle from The Post in years, but I'm about to, or I'll get someone to order it for me. This is worth the shipping, it's that good! Try it peoples!!!!

Who In the World Am I?

Lavender dominant for sure. It's kind of an ethereal blend, whispy, and powder definitely starts to develop in the blend. This kind of reminds me of Victorian Garden, another lavender/floral blend, but this one is less florally. I love me some lavender, it reminds me of my roots, where my mom has lavender growing in her herb garden all the time. She has two varieties, and this one is the creamier type to me, not the medicinal one. I really like this, but have quite a few lavender blends and do not need anymore. eta: Although there's vanilla listed, I don't smell it:( It does smell a bit like TKO, especially as time goes on, so maybe it's coming out a touch. This is smelling better and better. I may have to keep my eye out for more. Very comforting and delicate, which is great for a sleep atmosphere before bed.

    Wood Horse

Wood Horse starts out as a sweet, fruity wood. Pretty unpleasant. Dries to a sweet, fruity, rice blend. It reminds me of rice pudding with canned mandarin oranges. Get's even sweeter as time goes on, now it's candied oranges. Not my cup of tea, but nice to try. I may have gone more for this if wasn't so sweet, I like the base of the blend.

    Krampuslaufen

This is basically a sweeter, spicier Krampus. I love my Krampus, and have a bottle of him, though it is a bit more masculine. Because of the sweetness, this is more wearable, and a nice kick from the spices. I don't need anymore, and though it's nice, it's a bit too foody for me.

    The Visionary

I was kind of expecting a blend like The Infernal Lover, I guess, but I'm not getting any red musk here at all. I'm getting a sharpness, which kind of smells like vetiver, but it's most likely the wood note. Mostly musk, though not necessarily red, with wood and a touch of sourness. Not what I was expecting, was looking forward to red musk, I'm on a kick right now. No need to upgrade.

    Chanukkiyah

Warm and inviting. I'm getting the beeswax, amber and olive oil. This kind of reminds me of other beeswax blends, Candles Moon, The Light of Men's Lives, but I find this a bit more sweeter. Nice, but I've never been drawn to these types of blends, and not sure why. Maybe they're more like an atmosphere scent to me.
