Rather strong and resinous. It becomes sour after awhile, which I'm assuming is the 'bad sour rose', that bpal puts out. Morphs between something like a resinous sour rose, and something savoury/foody, like bbq sauce made out of some kind of syrup. I love a resinous rose once in awhile, but this one is got that weird foody note, and the rose is just a bit too sour.

I could hardly smell this one at first, and wrote it off as one of those 'disappearing bpal ones'. After a bit, I'm wondering what smelled so good, and realized it was me. I'm getting the red musk and leather and just a touch of red ginger. I don't mind the ginger, though red ginger can be an overpowering note, it is very subtle here. Not getting any patchouli, which is kind of odd...I'm on a red musk kick lately, and this one satisfies my need for the time being. I think I'm going to have to find a nice red musk luper. Suggestions? I like this one, but I bet I'm too late to find a bottle.

Soft floral at first. It doesn't smell like rose, so it must be the lilac. Dry, well, the dried roses dominate now, along with the wood, and a cologne vibe. There's a bit of a metallic twang that morphs back and forth between the roses. I like the dried roses, but not that fond of the cologne. This is nice to try, but no need for more.

Eww, right off, I'm smelling bacon. Why, I don't know, it just smells like sweet bacon cooking in a fry pan. After a bit, the meat note leaves, thank goodness, and I'm getting coconut and spices, and a whole lot of sweetness. Not detecting patch, though I wish I did, as it may have saved the blend for me. Uber sweet, sticky coconut with gingery spices. This is one of the yuckiest bpals I've tried. I still do want to try Goblin on its own though....

Ugh, right away, the cedar is stomping all over everything. I often read cedar as vetiver, and it's doing the same thing here. Green, planty smelling cedar, and not much else.

At first this smells like pink grapefruit soap. After a bit, there's a powdery, feminine quality about it, but the grapefruit is still present. This is quite refreshing, very pretty, and would be great for a warm spring day. I will probably use the imp up when it becomes warmer out.

I knew that this one would probably not work on me, being a non foody perfume wearer.... Immediately this reminds me of those strawberry ice cream bars that you can get from the ice cream truck with the crumble coating. This smells EXACTLY how those taste, and even though I consider it a 'fake' strawberry, it is still good. I'm going to want one of those bars pretty soon....

This ends up being a sweet, soft slightly citrus blend. So soft, in fact that it barely lasts half an hour. Pretty while it lasted, kind of like a soft, airy cashmere sweater of the finest wool, as in fine quality and thinness. I don't detect any red quality at all.

Traditional pumpkin spices along with some gritty cedar. After a bit, it's almost like clove joined the party, or I'm amping it from the pumpkin spices. So it ends up being a more masculine pumpkin, less sweet than the other pumpkin blends. I'm not getting any fig fwiw. This reminds me a bit of Sin, with added woods.

Resins and wood. Lovely combination, but these blends I find are more atmospheric rather than wearable. I do like to wear the occasional woody blend, though. Nice even balance between the cedar and mahogany, no amber, with the incense. Nice to try, but I probably won't reach for this one much.

Delicious rum with cream, it smells like. Sweet and foody, I would sure like a drink like this, though I bet it would contain a whole days calories in it. I'm not sure why, but the rum note can go dusty on me, like the husk of a coconut. So after a bit, sweet, dusty rum, like the drink was sitting in a dusty room for a couple of days. These scents rarely work on me, and this is no exception.

Some Laces are pretty darn good, and let's face it some, well not so good. (Pink Lace I'm looking at you). This falls into the category of an AMAZING LACE!! This one starts off as spices of the pumpkin variety, where no one really stands out, it's all blended well together. After a bit, less spice, and more classic sultry lace with vanilla, bourbon, and sandalwood. This would be a cross between Black Lace and Autumn Lace. I find Black Lace a bit too much at times, it's just too heavy on the sandalwood, but dries into something lovely after a bit. Autumn lace is very similar to this, but PL is more mellow with a touch of warm spice. I rarely upgrade these days, but this one definitely warrants it. I"m surprised this one isn't getting more love. Maybe y'all need to pull out your bottles and try this one again. Maybe a little age is what it needs. eta: fwiw, I don't get any maple syrup at all. I would have been totally turned off if I did.

Very feminine and very rosy. This is a sweet rose, and does not turn sour at all. This is the same rose from the Unity set, White Rose, I'm pretty sure. For rose lovers, this is a must, it is a very true rose scent.

Heady at first, which I'm guessing the jasmine is the culprit. It's the lab's 'nice' one, the night blooming variety though. It strengthens as it dries, and I'm getting rose, jasmine and resins. If you like florals and resins, you'll like this. I have to be in the right mood, so an upgrade is not necessary. This does remind me of the scent of a TAL oil, it's got the same vibe.

A bit of an odd one to be sure. I'm getting greenery and a herbally kind of floral. Drier, kind of bitter, herbal, with less greenery. This would be nice for summer for someone who likes herbal, fresh scents. There's a bit of a 'kitchen spice' vibe here that is not sitting well with me, so I'll have to pass.

A watery, slightly fruity red musk blend. It has the same feeling of Phoenix in Summer, kind of an aquatic red musk. I'm on a red musk kick lately, and though I probably wouldn't purchase a bottle, my need is fulfilled. For now. I really wish I didn't give up my Sherezade several years ago....

Definitely pomegranate at first, though it's not as tart as it is when I eat them. It is a sweet pom, with nothing much else. The poppy, or incense, as I find poppy to be, is hardly present. It may come out a bit after an hour so, but it's virtually non-existent. Uber sweet pom, kind of reminds me of cream soda, or a fruity drink. This would be a lot better if there were more spice or incense present.

Metal at first, no plum present or amber. This pretty much turns to soap on me, though it's kind of pretty, like freshly washed skin. This does indeed smell like a yellow metal of some sort.

I love me some black licorice to eat, but not necessarily to smell like it. This one is heavy on the metal, which is not a good thing, as metal does not smell pleasant on me, rather tingy, and abrasive. After a bit, the licorice comes out, and it's making me want to go out and get those licorice pipes, or the strong Aussie black stuff. Once the metal calms down, it's not too bad, but too masculine for me to wear, and besides I have plain old Krampus, who is pretty awesome. No need for more.

Sweet chocolate and something pleasantly floral. I love chocolate, and like it as a perfume as long as it's not too foody. Boomslang, Velvet, and Black Temple Burlesque Troupe are examples of the perfect cocoa or chocolate blends. This one has the potential, but it's a bit too sweet. I can see layering this with an amber blend, Visions of Autumn 3, to make it more to my liking. I would definitely like to eat something like this, but it's too sweet and foody for me to wear.

Bright fruit and some spice here...and then more spice. As the fruit fades, the spice increases. It's more of a juicy fruit than dried, like it's been soaked in mulled cider, or something to that effect. I'm all for some spice, but the combination of the fruits just is not doing it for me.

I'm surprised this one isn't getting more love. Right off, rich brown leather, soft and worn. After a bit, musks and woods. This one is one of those blends that smells different from a distance. You're thinking...what is that amazing smell, it's a floral, feminine leather, not unlike Clockwork Couture female, or Liz. Up close, it is more masculine, like Crowley's brother. So a mish mash of amazing notes to create two different scents...I'd like to have more, but fundage does not allow it at this time.

Like regular Sin, I don't get a lot of patchouli, and I wish I did for both. This is just a more spice heavy Sin. It's much like the other spice ridden blends of Weenies and Yules that I like to smell occasionally in cooler weather. Don't need anymore, but I'd really like to try aged Sin to see if it's less spicy.

White musk at first with a touch of citrus tea. This fades to soap, and not the greatest one in the soap dish. It is fortunate that this is a fast fade.

The best kind of cocoa you can imagine at first. It really smells like the richest Belgium chocolate ever. After a bit, more spices, less richness from the cocoa. Still, it's pretty good, and foodies will be all over this one for sure. As for me, it's evocative, and makes me want to drink one of these, but I'd never consider this to be a perfume I'd actually wear. I don't understand the foodie obsession, and wonder why anyone would like to smell like cookies or whatever.
