Everyone keeps talking about orange creamsickle and I get none of that. I have an aged bottle and it's nothing but black narcissus and vanilla on me. I wish it had orange but that's not happening here. It's become one of my favorite scents. I love it for the vanilla smokey smell and not all that sweet but more spicey. Maybe in aged imps/bottles, the orange note breaks down?

Much like everyone else, there is a sweet blend of pear and vanilla. My nose is picking up a floral note in the background that no one else has mentioned. I rarely have a scent stay true and my chemistry does weird things. Perhaps it is a musk that someone else has mentioned albeit a sweet one.

In the bottle, this smelled strongly of grapefruit and lime. I applied it and the lime became dominate. Unfortuantely, about 10 minutes later, it disappeared. I reapplied very libreally and it disappeared again. It breaks my heart because it would be a favorite of mine. It's very crisp and wakes me up. Sadly, I will have to love it's artwork and will keep the bottle just for the artwork. I may use it as an air fresher or lingerie drawer scent.

I knew Goblin was going to be a bit different. I'm realitively new at this but tried over a hundrend scents. The Jersey Devil is my favorite so I was looking forward to this one. In the imp it smelled very organic. For the gardeners out there, it's that smell you get while tilling a new garden and you just added compost. It's very earthy and dirt smell. The coconut makes it a little sweet but still dry. After dry down, the coconut became a dominate note on me. Then the earthy woodsy smell came out. It's probably the patchoili. If you need an earthy smell that make you feel grounded, this is one to consider. I found it comforting like digging in a garden.

Troll smelled very earthy to me. After drydown, the dominate scent was clove and then smoke. I had no evergreen note which is a shame because I love them. This scent reminds me of Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) events. You are out in the woods, there is crisp air, a fire is burning and someone throws in some cloves.
