In bottle/imp: Dry, white lilies. Immediately on skin: This smells of very white or light grey blossoms. There is a bit of lily in it, and maybe lilac as well. It has the feel of honeysuckle, but it is not nearly as sweet. It’s a dry and almost powdery sharp floral scent that is reminiscent of sticking your nose into a bouquet and inhaling; it doesn’t smell like a fake scent… it smells like something blossoming and alive. After a few minutes: The flowers in this have become a bit spicier… it sort of reminds me of daffodils. It’s a very fresh, bright floral blend filled with white and yellow blooms. Overall Impressions: Lots of fresh white and yellow flowers… that’s what I get from this. It’s not a sweet floral blend, but it echoes the feel of lots of different flowers: honeysuckle, lily, daffodil, and lilac. It smells like a hybrid of all different types of light spring flowers. For a grey and ghostly flower, it sure does smell very fresh and lively.

In bottle/imp: Sweet airy floral notes and a hint of apple. Immediately on skin: This is a very floral, airy blend with a nice touch of apple blossom. The dragon’s blood adds a slight bitterness to this and the musk peeks in, but this is mostly just sweet, subtle flowers. After a few minutes: This smells much the same as when I first put it on. It’s mostly apple blossom and I can smell a bit of the hyacinth now, and then a base of light dragon’s blood and some light musk. It’s subtly sweet and fruity, while also being quite floral. Overall Impressions: This is a very nice feminine dragon’s blood blend. It’s subtle on the dragon’s blood for sure, but there’s definitely a hint of it. The apple blossom is a very nice light note, and goes very well with the dragon’s blood and musk.

In bottle/imp: Smoky amber above dragon’s blood. Immediately on skin: The dragon’s blood is the main scent in this… that resinous and slightly floral mix of notes. Over that wafts the poppy which is slightly smoky, and the warm amber. The ylang ylang adds a nice almost creamy note to the background. After a little while: This sweetens up just a little and the dragon’s blood falls to the background a bit. The other notes seem to bloom; the poppy gets a little more floral and less smoky, the amber warms up a bit more, and the ylang ylang almost smoothes out everything and blends the dragon’s blood in with the rest of the notes. Overall Impressions: This is a very pretty and almost girly dragon’s blood scent, but it just stops short of smelling overly feminine. The poppy is a subtly sweet but deep floral, and the amber and ylang ylang really warm up this blend and add a nice smooth feeling. The dragon’s blood is the main note in this, but it mostly just gives a nice base to the scent. This is complex, well balanced, and slightly mysterious.

In bottle/imp: Dragon’s blood and plastic-y vanilla. Immediately on skin: The dragon’s blood is there, but it’s softened. In the forefront of the scent is the vanilla… it’s the same sort of vanilla I got from MB: Biggercritters in that it smells like doll heads. It’s this plastic-y, powdery vanilla. After a few minutes: The dragon’s blood is still blending completely with the vanilla… and it seems to have gotten more babydoll head-ish if that’s possible. It’s a very strong scent. Overall Impressions: I wanted to like this, and I can really see how it could be amazing on some people, but this vanilla unfortunately turns to plastic on me. Maybe if I try it again another time it’ll get better but right now it’s just not for me.

In bottle/imp: Dragon’s blood and lilac with a touch of soapy lily. Immediately on skin: This is very cool, floral dragon’s blood. The lilac and lily are very strong and blend with the dragon’s blood. It’s not a very complex fragrance and seems pretty straightforward floral dragon’s blood on my skin. It’s not a sweeter scent, though. After a few minutes: Dragon’s blood turns plastic-y on me sometimes, and unfortunately it did so in this blend. The lilac and lily of the valley blend in nicely though, and make this a bit cooler and deep. Overall Impressions: This is a nice cool, floral dragon’s blood blend. Personally, I found the dragon’s blood to turn plastic-y in this one, but it may very well by the lily of the valley interacting with the d.b. note (lily sometimes turns soapy on me).
-
In bottle/imp: Dragon’s blood with a bit of warmth to it. Immediately on skin: This is strong on the dragon’s blood, of course, but it has a cloying warm note in there as well. It’s just slightly sweet, but rather soapy. After a few minutes: The sandalwood has faded and this just seems like straight up dragon’s blood. It’s quite boring now. Overall Impressions: I’m not a big fan of dragon’s blood… I think it makes most blends smell uninteresting. This one was no exception; the sandalwood faded fast and I was left with just the dragon’s blood.
-
In bottle/imp: Plain dragon’s blood… resinous, complex, and slightly sweet and floral. Immediately on skin: This smells like straight up dragon’s blood, which I guess it’s supposed to do. It’s a lightly resinous scent, and complex. The blend is slightly floral (I’ve seen others mention lilac, and it definitely could be) and sweet with almost a waxy fruity note about it. After a little while: This settles into a slightly resinous and floral plastic scent on my skin. It really seems dragon’s blood only behaves on me some of the time. Overall Impressions: Dragon’s blood is a difficult scent on me, but I generally find it to be quite complex and a little floral. This blend smells just like that, and I really think this is a great unisex scent. It’s pretty, but not overly so and could definitely suit being worn by a guy.

In bottle/imp: Clean salt water. Immediately on skin: This is a very salty, clean ocean scent. It almost smells like soaps such as Irish Spring; it has that same type of crisp, clean feel to it. The seaweed notes give it just a touch of a green scent. After a little while: This softens considerably into an ocean breeze type of scent. The seaweed gives this a slightly cloying feel… but that is very light. Overall Impressions: This scent is very crisp and clean and has a nice unisex feel. It’s almost a quintessential “ocean” type of blend. The seaweed is a bit cloying on me, but the scent overall is very nice.

In bottle/imp: Berries and light wood with a hint of rose. Immediately on skin: The first things that come out on my skin are white floral notes… sharp and dry and almost herbal. There’s a hint of rose, but that’s all I get from this right away. After a few minutes: After a few minutes this scent fades to the loveliness that I got straight from the imp: juicy purple berries with a hint of soft wood and the lightest kiss of rose. It’s a very pretty, airy scent… as if the wind were carrying the scent like the description says. Overall Impressions: I really enjoy this scent after it has a chance to warm up on my skin. The berry note is nice and sweet and juicy, and the wood and rose in the background make this blend a bit more complex and wearable. It’s extremely well blended, and almost reminds me of a berry tea scent. It’s not too sweet and is very well balanced.
-
In bottle/imp: Jasmine and rose… very perfume-y. Immediately on skin: This is a very golden, amber-filled jasmine and rose scent. It smells almost like traditional perfume. The jasmine gives this a heavy smokiness, almost like opium. The rose lingers behind that, and the amber gives the whole blend a nice glowing feel. After a little while: The jasmine has let up quite a bit and is very balanced with the rose and amber now. This is a warm and smoky jasmine and rose blend with a base of golden amber. Overall Impressions: This blend smells very wearable and traditional on me. The notes are well balanced and nicely blended. The jasmine starts out a bit strong, but calms down after a little while. This really feels gilded and golden, but unfortunately I get no citrus in this at all.

In bottle/imp: Cedar, leather, and a light touch of vanilla. Immediately on skin: I’m getting an interesting blend of sharp cedar and soft, sweet vanilla. After a few minutes: When I’m not sniffing right at my arm where I applied this, I get a soft, sweet, slightly woody vanilla that I rather like. When I sniff it up close, however, the cedar is stronger and melds with the vanilla to create a very different feel. It’s not as sweet up close, and the cedar is stronger than the vanilla note. It’s a little too heavy on the cedar for me. 2 hours later: The cedar continues to soften as I wear this. It’s nice, but I don’t know if it’s “me.” Overall Impressions: This blend is soft and warm sweet vanilla with cedar blended in. The cedar is strong at first, but as I wear it the vanilla comes out more and more. If you like softer, creamier and wood blends, try this one. It’s a lovely scent, but unfortunately not for me.

In bottle/imp: Sweet fruitiness and spices. Immediately on skin: This is an interesting scent. It’s a mix of sweet prickly pear and poppy with earthy spices over that. It has this odd rubbery type of note in it… not in a bad way really, but almost like it’s a thick paste laid over the pear and poppy. This is a warm blend with a lot of amber as well. After a little while: This blend is so warm now. It has a base of golden amber with the coriander and sage blending in and then the sweetness of the prickly pear and poppy over that. This isn’t a fruity blend, but more of a sweetened, smooth and spiced amber blend with touches of poppy. Overall Impressions: This is a very nice amber blend. This blend actually reminds me of Pumpkin IV 2007, which is pumpkin with cactus blossom, sage, and sweetgrass. It has a similar sort of feel, except the amber here replaces the pumpkin which gives the blend a softer type of feel. This is very pretty, with soft spices and touches of the prickly pear and tulip poppy. A very nice golden blend for sure.

In bottle/imp: Resins, myrrh, and sandalwood. Immediately on skin: Even though it was rather sweet and resinous in the imp, on my skin this is very herbal and earthy. It’s a mix of green herbal notes, patchouli, and myrrh. After a little while: This has settled into a very earthy patchouli, incense, and light cedar scent. The blend is very warm overall, and has a woody, dirty feel to it. There’s a subtle bit of myrrh that sweetens up the blend. Overall Impressions: I’m not a fan of patchouli, so I don’t personally like this blend, but it is a very nice warm, woody patchouli scent. It seems well balanced and very unisex. It’s a very earthy scent for sure.

In bottle/imp: Very complex… spices, and this aquatic almost cucumber-like note mainly. Immediately on skin: This is a very complex, full blend. There’s something to the base of this that is almost cool, like cucumber or chamomile. The rest of this is full of warmth: spices, herbs, maybe even a little bit of flowers. There’s definitely cinnamon here, and possibly nutmeg too. It has this really balanced quality to it, but it’s very full of different notes. Eek, and within a couple of minutes of having this on, it is itchy and my skin is getting a bit red. After a little while: This blend is so interesting; it has a very nice cool/warm balance to it and some great smooth spiciness. This smells like a cool flowery breeze through clean linens and the rich smell of all different sweet spices nearby. Very intoxicating. Overall Impressions: This is one of those hard to explain scents… I really haven’t tried much else like it. It’s like the blend is a balance between cool and warm scents; the cool note seems like it may be cucumber, though I’m probably wrong, and the spices contain cinnamon among other things. There’s an underlying floral quality which is nice too. Seriously something you have to try for yourself. So very unique and pretty.

In bottle/imp: Smoky, deep bay rum. Immediately on skin: This is mainly a bay rum scent to my nose, but it’s very deep with a lot of spices and the tobacco leaf is very evident. There’s almost a clean, ocean type of feel to this under the spicy bay rum. After a little while: As this settles, the tobacco leaf really comes out and blends beautifully with the bay rum. This isn’t a strong blend, but it smells thick and rich. It has a slight sweetness which is nice, and that tiny hint of “clean” ocean type of note. Overall Impressions: This reminds me of black lace, only much lighter and more unisex. The tobacco leaf is nice and strong and blends well with the spicy bay rum. This is very nicely balanced and well blended, and I would almost say it’s unisex though it is a bit rich and a touch sweet.
-
In bottle/imp: An interesting herbal/rose/pine mixture. Immediately on skin: For some reason this is very faint to me… my nose just isn’t able to grab the scent almost. The scent is mainly rose, with a little chamomile and the sharp pine note of either the juniper or cypress. After a little while: The longer I have this on, the more the rose and chamomile come out. This scent is mostly a mixture of the two with the rose taking the center stage and the chamomile adding it’s calming scent to it. The cypress and juniper really aren’t that evident; now, all I get is a slight sharp scent in the background from them. Overall Impressions: This is overall a nice, smooth rose scent with a bit of chamomile. I was nervous that the cypress and juniper would be the main notes, but they’re very subtle here. This is a stronger rose scent though, so if you don’t like blends that feature mainly rose, I’d stay away from this one. If you do like rose, though, I find the chamomile adds a nice calming, sweet quality to this blend.

In bottle/imp: Fruity flowers with a hint of cooler floral notes. Immediately on skin: This scent is very floral, but it’s complex. The lilies are there, clean and pretty, but underlying that there’s a fruity floral scent as well. This is just lightly sweet as well. After a little while: This fades into a very soft, pretty floral, but it’s no longer the almost fruity scent I got at first. The lilies dominate the blend and give it an almost soapy feel. The other floral notes linger slightly sweeter in the background. This still has a little bit of depth to it, which is nice; the floral notes smell layered and complex. Overall Impressions: This is a very pretty floral featuring very complementary and slightly different flowery notes. It’s not overly strong or sweet, and the lily gives it a nice freshness. You can pick out the other notes which is nice, and they don’t really blend together so you get a depth to this which is rather refreshing.
-
In bottle/imp: Very sweet, syrupy almond. Immediately on skin: This scent is really sweet and slightly spiced on my skin. It’s mostly almond, but I do get a little sassafras that’s giving it a root beer-like twinge. There’s a touch of something bitter as well, and light spiciness from the clove. After a little while: This fades into a watered down spicy almond and sassafras concoction. It’s very weak and a touch boozy, but still on the very sweet side. Overall Impressions: This is a sweet scent with bits of almond, clove, and sassafras. I don’t get much booziness from this, and it almost smells a bit like cola. But I tend to get that from almond plus spice blends. This is sweet on me, so that may be an issue on some. Otherwise, it’s nice, but nothing special on me.

In bottle/imp: Spicy lavender with an undercurrent of lotus. Immediately on skin: This scent smells exactly like you would guess from the description: spicy lavender and lotus. The lavender is very herbal and dry, and the lotus lends its odd, sharp bubblegum fruitiness. The spices permeate the whole blend, giving it an almost peppery feel. This is a tangy blend, but not very sweet. It has more of an herbal feel going on. After a little while: The lavender in this fades a bit, and the lotus seems to bloom a bit more. This isn’t a sweet lotus scent… it’s quiet and a bit herbal from the lavender. The spice adds a nice warmth now, and that peppery feel I got at first has faded. Overall Impressions: This is a very nice warm, slightly herbal lotus scent. It’s a lotus scent for those people who are afraid of it being too sweet; the lavender does a great job of subduing it and giving it a nice quiet feel. The spice in this is warm and lovely, calming from a pepperiness at first. Very pretty, and well blended as well.

In bottle/imp: Sweet flowers and smoky jasmine. Immediately on skin: This is mostly jasmine with a little of the honeysuckle peeking through. It’s very smoky and heavy, and there’s a little bit of warm spice to this. After a little while: As I wear this, the jasmine and honeysuckle blend together a bit more and what I’m left with is a sweetened jasmine scent with the smallest hint of warm spices. This isn’t as smoky a scent as other blends I’ve tried that have jasmine in them; it seems the honeysuckle tempers that well. Overall Impressions: The jasmine in this is the dominant note, but overall this is a pretty blend if you like jasmine. It’s slightly sweetened by the honeysuckle and a bit of the spice peeks through. I don’t get any lemon though, which I was looking forward to.
-
In bottle/imp: Very strong rose with hints of carnation and jasmine. Immediately on skin: I get rose (fresh, but not very sweet) mixed with musk and jasmine. This blend has a slightly rubbery scent to it on my skin… I think it’s the jasmine. After a little while: This calms down to a very rose-filled scent with small hints of carnation and lily and a base of warm amber. This is a sweeter scent now, and very floral. Overall Impressions: This blend is mostly rose with some of the other notes peeking through. And surprise, surprise… the jasmine behaved itself! The amber gives this a warm, almost golden feel to it, but I don’t get any of the bergamot or tangerine. This is very pretty though, and I think people who like rose may enjoy this.
-
In bottle/imp: Very green and fruity with a hint of jasmine. Immediately on skin: As it was in the imp, on my skin this is very green and fruity, almost like bamboo. But there’s a thick feeling to this scent… the green smells greener, and the fruit smells fruitier, so it’s probably a combination of notes as opposed to just bamboo. There’s also quite a strong jasmine note in this blend (aka Sampaguita blossoms in the notes) and it kind of smokily wafts above the green fruitiness of this scent. After a little while: What? Pine? Where did that come from? Breaking it down, what I’m really getting is some strong green and wood notes plus the jasmine. But it’s totally coming across to my nose as sticky, thick pine sap. Very odd… Overall Impressions: This scent is… odd. It starts out nice and green and fruity, but then the notes combine in a way that strikes me as almost SN pine. It’s complex, and well blended. Odd on me though… I tend to amp jasmine so others may not have the same issues I did with this blend.
-
In bottle/imp: A very clean smelling scent with hints of ginger and lemon. Immediately on skin: This is very sharp smelling… and very clean. It smells like Irish Spring soap almost to me, that clean “water” smell I guess. Within that are hints of very green grass and a little of the verbena. After a little while: The sharp Irish Spring type of feel has certainly faded from this. What I’m getting now is a very interesting mix of clean, cool notes and the warm amber. It’s crisp, but has an underlying warmth to it, and the grass and sage add this nice green complex element. Overall Impressions: This scent is crisp, clean, and lovely. It’s complex and unique with a bit of the warm amber blending with the rain in just the right way so that they blend instead of clash. The sage in this is light, but adds a nice depth to the blend. I’d say this is on the unisex side, though it did get sweeter and less sharp the longer I wore it.
-
In bottle/imp: Green notes, light florals, and a little ozone. Immediately on skin: This is a very lush and complex scent. It smells very clean, with an underlying fruitiness and soft florals with some green notes peeking in. After a little while: This is an interesting scent… it’s green, flowery, and fruity without being overwhelmingly any one of those. It’s soft and lightly sweet with a nice freshness that isn’t really ozone or aquatic. There’s also a light warmth from the amber that’s almost earthy when blended with the fresh notes that make up the rest of the blend. Overall Impressions: This blend is a nice surprise… it’s unexpectedly fresh and light with the warm golden feel from the amber underlying the fresh, clean notes of greens, flowers, and fruits. It almost reminds me of Dirty, but this is a bit more complex and has this beautiful warm amber in it. Overall, very pretty, but I don’t think I’d wear it much.

In bottle/imp: Almond at first, but then I realized that’s the cherry blossom and star anise blending together. Immediately on skin: This is an interesting blend of sweet florals and anise that smells almost like almond when blended. The floral note almost takes off the liquorice edge, which is fine with me. There’s a light soapiness, as well as a hint of warmth from the sandalwood. This is sweet but slightly bitter from the anise. After a little while: As I wear this, the sandalwood comes out a bit more to blend with the other notes. The combination of the three creates a soft and slightly flowery warm scent, and the anise isn’t as sharp or liquorice-y as it usually is on me. The sandalwood lends a hint of earthiness to the blend. Overall Impressions: This blend is hard to pin down and seems soft and elusive. This blend is a nice warm soft floral with a touch of earthiness, but isn’t as liquorice-y as other anise blends have turned on me. Overall, I find this to be very pretty and great for those who like softer, warmer floral blends.
