  1. wow I don't remember how long I've been into bpal, maybe 2006? I still haven't finished even a imp either. I have so many perfumes though, not just bpal, I'm obsessed with scent, I need ot start slathering. I wonder if mixing the oils with alcohol to make sprays would make them last longer?

  2. My mother one time wore patchouli oil (it was some really nasty, super strong stuff that didn't smell a thing like BPAL's) around a cat we once had, and...erm, he liked it a little too much. :P If you don't want to be molested by a cat, you might want to avoid patchouli.

He loved the scent of strawberries, though, in a much less sexual way. If you do end up wearing perfume around the kitties, maybe that would be good?

haha, one of my cats, the one who's more into herbs goes mad around patchouli oil, she loves it. Cats also like valerian, which is pretty stinky so I don't think you'll find many perfumes with it. My eldest cat loves pure sugar sweet scents, but he has a sweet tooth anyway...

  3. it took me a while to find this review and what this queen was... but This I didn't think I'de like in the vial. In the vial it smells all astringent and pepper. But I decided to try it on my skin anyway. It changes a bit in the dry down and is less astringent and a bit more sweet. It's complex but I like the dry down. Wouldn't buy a bottle but I might keep the imp.

  4. I'm not sure if I wrote a review on this yet, but I'm writing another one if so hah. I can understand why some people might not like this, itt does have an air freshener type smell I guess slash laundry but there's just something aboutit that makes me feel good. The soapyness isn't too saopy, in that I can still smell the orange blossom and whatever, I do get that slight mapleyness too. I've realized what this reminds me of though, maybe it brought back subconcience memories of being younger, it smells like that little girls petite nate bath splash I used to have. Maybe that's why it makes me feel more carefree. I'm not sure it smells exactly likew it but very much like it, maybe a bit more orange blossomy.

  5. First thing i notice is chocolate, with pretty florals and maybe some cherry, on me, the florals are coming out more and the chocolate is going down, hmm this is yummy but I'm not sure how it will be when it dries down more. I get powdery dry downs alot with BPAL I'm gonna try this with a scent locket when i get one. I liked the peachy color too.

  6. This is nice, it has a spiciness to it like Judith victorious but not as strong and allergic making. Seems more citric than berries to me for some reason but i guess that's currents.l I like it,and I think i will keep the decant but I'm not desperate for a bottle now although I wouldn't mind!

  7. When first applying I smell a slight sweetness but that kinda disappears it seems. Before reading the notes i thought pepper, but it's the lavender. Really peppery salty lavender. It is a pretty one though and I can see how they would name this one love and pain lol.

Update: I like this but it does have that Mens scent edge to it, although a woman could get away with wearing it.

  8. Dusty amber, grey musk, red orchid, moonflower, night-blooming phlox, stock, honeysuckle, English ivy, toadflax, and purple salvia.

Pretty, but in a really really perfumey way. Smells like something I may have smelled before.

  9. smells like laundry soap, the dry powder. Clean, fresh, bright, but I don't think I'de were it much as a perfume. Oh well, I loved the name and the whole idea :P wish i could smell the clover. Well, my beanie baby bunny seems to enjoy wearing it ...

  10. yes cherry almond, with a spicy warmness. Not as harsh as i expected at all. I like it, maybe I'll get a bottle but i'll keep the imp for now. This imp wont close all theway anyway so i don't want to swap it and have ot leak out.

  11. I was a bit dissappointed wirth this too, but maybe it will be different in a locket when i finally get one. In the bottle it's very light. On, floraly, grassy slightly sweet. i's a pleasent scent.I guess i was hoping it would be a little sweeter. Maybe with age.

  12. Base and earthy, yet glittering with golden notes: patchouli, heliotrope, copal and oakmoss.

Woody, reminds me of mandrake but with more oomph and more than just pencil shavings.Smells like money lol.

  13. Beth sent me this imp.ahh fresh ad dangerous, citrusy. Definately reminds me of the lightning before a downpour. I don't think I would were it much as a perfume but I will keep the imp for my collection of feel good scents.
