The first thing that came to my mind when I sniffed no. 62, strangely enough, was Samhain! Something about the sweetness and hint of spice is similar. Samhain is just slightly more spicy, woody, and powdery in comparison.

I bought this one right away when I saw the notes, because I loooove rose, and I loved the pumpkin notes in Jack. But part of me wondered how they would work together... Fortunately the work together very well! The rose is more of an elegant tea rose, and the pumpkin is so buttery and delicious. The rosewood and red sandalwood are what really makes the scent delectable, as they add the needed warmth to bridge the space between the differences of pumpkin and rose. As it dries down on me, the warm, woody notes are mostly what is left, along with the faintness of rose. This one works really well as a room scent, too. Hell, I wanted to bathe in it! This one is a total hit!

This one smells delicious! It's like an overgrown greenhouse full of evil, seductive blooms. It is a very juicy floral, with a slightly green note. There's something in it that reminds me of the Aloe drink that's available in asian grocery stores: very sweet and fresh, almost like candy. It's a bold and exotic floral, I really like it!

At first I thought it smelled kind of nice in the bottle, very tree-like. All I can get from it is the smell of evergreen tree needles and sap... I tried it as a room scent, but I accidentally got some on my finger. It turned into generic, cheap cologne smell. Ughhh! I had to wash it off right away. I wanted to like it, but sadly I think this one is not for me at all.

When I first put this on, I sighed happily. It's a very calm, serene scent. I can definitely see why it's described as a pale, translucent rose. It has something wet and crisp smelling underneath, and it seems very ethereal. It started to fade rather quickly on me... It's nice, but it's a little too similar to the rose scents I already have.

I am not sure what to think of this one, it definitely screams nostalgia. I can smell the light florals, and some soft vanilla underneath. It turned rather powdery and old lady-ish on me, unfortunately. It's nice, but not something I necessarily want on me. ^^;;

At first this one was ALL violet to me. Barely any rose at all. This one smells a bit soapy on me. It reminds me of the violet bubble bar from Lush (what was it... Bathos?) and it was one I didn't like. Unfortunately this scent is one I feel like washing off.

All I could get from this one was a very strong scent of cinnamon apples! Weird, maybe I got one from an off batch? It reminded me of Christmas time! Not something I necessarily like on me...

This one is very "little girl", very powdery and innocent. Maybe too innocent for me. At first I could smell lots of carnation, very faint rose. When it started to dry down, I could smell the sweetness of the milk and honey. The rose started to appear more and mingle with the sweeter notes. It makes me picture Alice in a lighthearted fairytale tea party in a rose garden. Later on, it turned rather creamy, and a little bit floral lingering in the background. It is nice and light, perfect for a little girl, but I'm not sure yet if it would suit me. Maybe!

My boyfriend actually was the one who wanted to try this one... I can definitely smell the dark, dusty/smoky rose. The amber and magnolia blended together beautifully. It makes him smell like an evil, yummy blossom! I wanted to just eat him up. Later on it fades to a faint, musky floral. This one is certainly going to be a big bottle purchase!

Usually I despise citrus but I decided to give this one a try... In the imp: Ahhh! Lemon Verbena! It's all sharp sour citrus! Wet: There is a certain sweetness to it on my skin, perhaps the orange blossom or honeysuckle, but the strong lemony smell is still there... Drydown: The lemon verbena note is fading a bit, and the florals are coming out more. It's beginning to smell like a sweet, honeysuckle sort of floral, with a bit of a tart punch. It's like an extra sweet lemon candy... Dry: The lemon has thankfully mostly faded away... It left behind a sugary bouquet of summertime flowers. Very innocent and cute feeling, but somewhat playfully seductive and teasing, just like the girl in the novel. I like this one better after it has dried down, the first notes of lemon bothered me x_x;;.... Overall this one isn't bad. I think I rather like it.

I love the art and description for this one! In the bottle: A light, almost powdery rose, with a more fully bloomed, juicy rose underneath. Wet: It's more powdery at first, very light and innocent. It's almost fruity. Drydown: I can definitely smell the violet coming out, and it works together beautifully. It's turned into a light, sweet duet of rose and violet. It makes me imagine a fancy garden in a fairytale castle's courtyard at twilight. Dry: This dried rather quickly on me, maybe because my skin has been a bit on the dry side lately. Anyhow, U can smell the patchouli coming out ever so slightly, along with a faint bit of jasmine and a little hint of something spicier. Overall I really like this one, but I'll have to wear it more to find out if it is worthy of true love or not! <3

One of my absolute favorites, my very first BPAL scent! To me, this totally captures the magical, special feeling I get during autumn. It smells like Halloween embodied: dead leaves (I don't know how Beth captured this scent into a bottle, but it really does smell like it; that crisp, somewhat bittersweet smell...) and spices, and pumpkins... It starts out with a sweet smell of the spices and pumpkins, then dries down and the leaves come out beautifully. Oh, it's just perfect in every way! I love it so much <3

Unfortunately this one turned all powdery on me. Almost like baby care products. Oh well!

In the bottle: This one smells very strongly floral, with something extra. The amber really stands out to me. Wet: The amber seems to calm down a bit, but the overall effect is rather intense. Drydown: The powderyness is fading a little more, and the rose is coming out. It's very heavy and dark, it makes me think of a gigantic black rose made of velvet. Dry: The rose scent has become more dominant, and I can smell the musk. There is still a hint of something soft and powdery, but it turned into something a lot more fainter and more in the background. It's a nice scent, but I am not sure what I think of it on me. After wearing this on my wrist for a while, I washed my hands with vanilla-scented soap, and I think it blends really nicely! Hmmm, I may have to experiment!
