in imp: drunken pumpkin, with spiciness from the ginger and neroli. on me: and now the citrus notes, more blood orange than lemon peel, and something incensy are poking their heads out too. Pumpkin has receded to the background, but I can still tell it's there. after a few minutes: wow this is a really low throw blend, I'm all up in my wrist and can barely smell anything. Now it's mostly incense, spice, and citrus. Pumpkin has wandered off somewhere. Overall: a good scent, not as reminiscent of fall to my nose as PP 2, but it's nice to have found an incense-y scent that isn't uber heavy.

in imp: baked pumpkin, with tobacco and tonka grounding it and the flowers proving a faint lightness. Very warm and comfy. on me: mmm pumpkin gingersnaps! still with a depth from the tonka and tobacco, and an edge from the flowers and spiciness of the ginger. after a few mins: now the flowers are ramping up the sweet, drats I liked the pimpkin gingersnaps stage. although I guess this is nice too. Overall: Very warm and cozy and autumnal. Good pick me up.

Got this as a frimp with my weenies order. Rose and I tend to not get along, but let's give it a try: in imp: rose plants with a sharpness that I'm guessing is the hazel. I'm liking that this is a rose that's more of a plant and less of a flower. on me: Hmmm this is a kind of schizo scent. on one hand there's a nostril-grabbng sharpness, on the other it's also started to take on a candied sweetness. I wish I was getting the wood others are describing, it would help the two halves play nicely. after a few mins: Hmm the sharpness has dulled a bit, and the candy sweetness has ramped up even more. Overall: it's not bad, but it has a bad psychosomatic effect on me. I'm feeling very jittery and anxious. I think I'm gonna go wash this off. To ye swaps!

in imp: This is a lot less heavy than I would have thought from the list of notes. I get a warm, light chocolateyness with something very light and almost citrusy, hmm it might be the amber. really complex and hard to pin down, I like. on me: Hmm something sharp is moving to the fore now, now it's more plant-y and less inanimate-y. (I'm doing a crap job of describing, I know). Wish the cocoa absolute had stuck around, but still digging this. I can't stop sniffing my wrist and am getting light-headed after a few mins: Hmm I think the sandalwood is poking out a bit more, yay a sandalwood blend that works with me! Oh how I have longed for one! Hmm now I'm also getting a whiff of the cherry coke/dr. peppar that others have mentioned. Still can't stop smelling my wrist Overall: Oh so much love for this scent, it has bumped 51 off the throne (or maybe they co-reign, whatev). I like this for the same reasons I love 51: dynamic, creative mix of notes that defies description. Also it's oh so sexy.

in imp: bright and green, green tea, honeysuckle, with a slight kick of the lemon verbana on me: wow, this is all blending together so nicely, the sharpness of the tea, the brightness of the lemon verbana and the faint sweetness of the honeysuckle. Mmmmm. after a few mins: awww it's faded a bit now. Come back pretty smell, come back! I shall put on more of you next time!

in the imp: smoke with an undercurrent of leather and musk. Very bitter-smelling. Uh-Oh. on me: Oh good there's something sweet poking it's head out through the bitterness. Mmmm vanilla and flowers. Now this kind of smells like an oldentime's man's cologne wafting through a battlefield. after a few mins: Now the smoke and leather have died down, making nice subtle countersmells to the flowers and vanilla. Very warm mysterious and sexy. Overall: Good unisex scent. Smells at the same time very traditional and very unusual/unique.

in imp: green fresh sap, sweet and herby, with maybe a hint of pine on me: whatever's making the sweet herb smell has amped up, and now there's light wood (perhaps the sprucewood from the description? :-P) after a few mins: Hmm now it's mostly wood, and has gone slightly powdery. overall: not my favorite scent, but it's nice, clean and woodsy-smelling.

in imp: sweet and resin-y. huh? Oh wait there's a hint of leather and smoke. Definitely "Warm and smooth" though. on me: smoky leather moves more towards the front, but it's still duking it out with the sweet smell. It almost smells like gardenias, wtf mate? *reads through forum* Ohhh, Dragon's Blood can turn floral, that must be what's going on. after a few mins: a leather jacket that spent a day in the bar hanging on a gardenia bush. Overall: An interesting scent. Definitely not an everyday scent but it could be a good scent for going out with friends

in imp: Hmmm very sweet and floral. Sweet pea and other light, sweet, pink and purple florals, there's also a more watery note which I think is the lettuce on me:lettuce and pear with a bit of sweet pea, the florals have desweetened a bit, which I'm liking. after a few mins: This warms up a lot and blends very nicely. This makes me feel so womanly and sophisticated. overall: I always knew I should have been a Cancer! :-P This is a great, light, feminine scent, has great throw, which most scents don't have with me, and oodles of staying power.

in the imp: Like a more floral version of the smell right before a rainstorm. mmmm. on me: Ozone, crushed flowers, a bit of ocean. after a few mins: marine is gone and the flowers ramp down, making this a near-perfect doppleganger of the "just before a rainstorm" smell Love, Love, Love!

This is like the beautiful, incestuous lovechild of Dana O'Shee and Queen of Sheba! Also excellent staying power, survived work and several hand washings! in imp: honey with an undercurrant of vanilla, amber grounding and binding it, mmmm on me: amber ramps up and takes the fore, supported by the honey, vanilla fades down to a mellow warmth after a few mins: everything's really well blended, warm and sweet and alluring.

in imp: white florals with ginger, tea subtly lurking in the back; sweet, but biting on me: ginger, something almost citrus-y (reading others' reviews, apparently this is white tea?), very wet and juice-y after a few mins: now everythings faded to a light, softly spicer ginger and tea, and white florals Overall: love it but wish it were stronger/had more throw. My skin is jealously holding onto this.

in imp: salt, marine, and ... grapefruit?! Where the heck'd the grapefruit come from. The Deep Ones, I dub thee "Seaside Grapefruit!" on me: tropic florals, brine, and grapfruit. My skin is doing weird things to this. after a few mins: There's something in this that reminds me of Manila, a heavy, tropical floral. Beats me what it's doing in here though. This is also an oddly warm scent. I'd expect it to be more cool. I give up trying to decipher the notes. overall: While a "seaside grapfruit" is an interesting scent, it's a little odd for regularly wearing, I think this shall go into swapland.

in imp: This is a vaguely poisonous, yet sunny looking yellow. Very sweet-smelling, but with an undertone of licorice-y spice. on me: smells like sticking my head in a bowl of Jolly Ranchers, mixed with a lil bit of thickened honey and some crushed flowers. after a few mins: wow, this changes a fair amount on me. Now it just smells very soft and warm. Overall: Odd, the first time I tried this it was overpoweringly sweet. This time I rather like it. Oh skin chemistry, you're usually a rock of reliability, but every now and then you taunt me.

So much love for Bliss, it is everything olfactorily good about chocolate-y things! in the imp: mmm milk chocolate with a dash of cocao powder. Must. Resist. Drinking. on me: hot fudge, and at the end of the sniff it smells like brownie/cake mix after a few minutes: it goes more powdery, smelling less like bar chocolate, and more like cocao powder/brownie mix. Which is still delicious, so no complaints here! :-D There's also a slight hint of burnt sugar, which adds a nice depth. Overall: this is definitely a mood-booster, and it makes me want to bake.

in the imp: sharp but light pine, like sniffing a branch full of needles. There's some sweetness from the berries. I like this. on me: now it's a deeper pine, like crushing the needles between your fingers. Berries are more muted. Now I'm worried this will be too heavy. after a few mins: aaand the berries are back in force, the pine has gone menthol-y, and and it's all gone powdery and artificial. Phooey. Murphy's drydown. overall: To the swaps with you, laddy! I wish it smelled on me like it did in the bottle. ah well.

in the imp: grass, cucumber, and something sweet and floral. on me: grass fades, and the sweet smell comes more to the fore after a few mins: blends fairly well, so it's just light, sweet and grassy Overall: I'm amazed at how bang on the cuke scent is, but I probably won't keep this. Both because the sweetness smells slightly off to my nose (I think bc I'm expecting a cool smell, and the sweetness is more warm), and bc if I'm feeling like a light sweet and kinda grassy scent, I'd rather go with Amsterdam.

in the imp: Honey and milk, hint of almond. Very very sweet. There's something in here that kinda reminds me of Play-doh (?) but not in a turn-off-y way. on me: sweetness damps down a bit, Play-doh-esque note is gone, and now instead on almond, I am getting something grain-y. This reminds me of the delicous Polish honey mead I had once. after a few mins: now the milk has come to the fore, making for a very pretty subtle scent. Overall: loooove this scent. It is a happy, happy scent, and even has good throw, which is unusual as my skin tends to tenaciously cling to scents

in imp: musk, salt, smoky leather, and something sweet. very warm and masculine on me: leather fades to the background and the kelp shows up, also getting more of the spices now after a few mins: now the woods and salt have come to the forefront, (wow, scents don't usually morph this much on me) the other notes are blended so that I can't really pick any out. Overall: delicious warm damp masculine scent. I think this would work fine as a unisex scent, but for women it's probably not an everyday scent.

imp: clean, herbal, there's something like lemongrass on: on it's less herbal, very subtly floral (is this a very soft rose? ohmigawd, can it be? a rose that doesn't freak out with my skin! ), but still predominantly just very fresh and clean after: lemongrass comes more to the forefront, and I think there's a hint of fresh ginger. The rose is still behaving! overall: As others have mentioned it's a bit soapy, but I'd still really like to wear this on a hot day or while cleaning. Doesn't seem to be attracting people more than usual, but still a lovely scent.

in imp: fruity bubble gum, maybe a faint hint of cinnamon redhot? on me: fruity candy sweetness. It kind of reminds me of how the Strawberry Shortcake doll smelled. It's an artificial sweet smell but in a nice way. Occaisionaly I think I get whiffs of something lemony. after a few mins: It's now a softer, more subtle fruity smell, occaisionally it morphs into a nice caramel scent. Overall: I don't really feel extra happy but it seems like it would be a good mood maintainer. Has oodles of staying power. One downside though is that it really stained my wrist yellow, so I must be sure and only apply this on discreter places.

in imp: Sharp dry green floral. can smell hints of wood on me: a bunch of the notes seem to be combining into this one supernote the grabs me by the nostrils and goes "Smeeeeeeeell meeee!" I am quite happy to oblige. Hmm I'm thinking it's the neroli, amped up by the freesia and the musks, with the amber and some saltiness grounding it a bit. I only get whiffs of the fruits occaisionally. after a few minutes: this calms down (a bit) and is now a very similar to how I described in the imp: green, floral, and yet dry. My mental image when sniffing is glowing green and sandy colors flowing past each other like the inside of a lava lamp. Overall I luuurve this scent. It is so unique and gorgeous. Good scent if you need a pick me up.

from first sniff til after its dried this one doesn't morph much. spicy ginger well-balanced with sweet milkiness, absolutely lovely. I want to dive into a lake of it

in the imp: bright fresh tropical flowers! Maybe a hint of the ginger drydown: still primarily a floral, a very beautiful tropical floral, witht he ginger adding a soft spiciness to it. There's something else here, but I can't put my finger on it. dry: Mmm this is so warm and soft and smooth and pretty! I figured out what it is! It's like flowers dropped in tropical honey! There's still a whiff of fresh blooms there, but now they're enveloped in a softer, honeyed version of themselves. mmmm. This is a perfect scent for a relaxing tropical vacation.

in imp: ozone and marine, really perks up the nose! on wrist: That ozone is still waking up my sinuses, while the marine notes keep it from being overwhelming, there's also something floral lurking in the scent. Overall a good scent for dreary days or other times I need a pick-me-up. A strong scent without being too intense.
