    Gluhwein

This is unlike any other wine scent that has been released! It's freaking amazing! Once applied, I get a flash of sweet and rich red mulled wine (but not boozy) with honey and vanilla (non foody vanilla). The wine note is more of a sweet mulled berries. It's hard to explain how it's the perfect wine note on me! Usually wine can become a note of death, but not this! Not at all. This is bright, and sweet in the right way, with the spices mingling with the honey and the vanilla. It's got amazing throw too. This is easily in my top ten, and I am so happy that I was able to snag a bottle!

    Love-In-Idleness

Oh this is a lovely mellow floral blend. There's bit of something citrus lying under a slight soil like note maybe. Above all of that though is the beautiful blooms blossoming. They're sweet, but not sugary or creamy. This is the perfume of a innocent girl taking tea in her garden. Very pretty!

    Tiresias, the Androgyne

Dark, moody, and bittersweet: black currant, patchouli, tobacco, cinnamon leaf, caramel, muguet, and red sandalwood. Oh wow this is fantastic!! It's foody, without being too foody whatsoever. There's caramel here, but not the super sweet buttery kind. It smells organic, like it was caramel made with sugar in the raw, rather than most caramel candies which are made with processed sugars. The patchouli is an amazing counterpart to the caramel. There's also the woody note popping through (sandalwood, or tobacco maybe?) but it's melding perfectly with the patchouli. This is an amazingly earthy scent which can totally be described as either totally feminine or utterly masculine. The cinnamon is not bright and red hot.. it's more of a sweet mild form of cinnamon, which is probably what the cinnamon leaf does. What a fantastic combination! I think that I am going to have to hunt down a whole bottle of this before the CD leaves!

    Motley

This is my favorite of the three for sure! The black currant and rhubarb form a lovely centerpiece note around the resins, making a beautiful incense! The mushroom is providing a base earthy feel, rather than an earthy smell really. I can honestly say that I can't pick out any mushrooms. As it dries down, the notes that pop out the most are the fruity currants and the sweet champaca which dominates the smokey myrrh just a little bit. It's oh so beautiful, and the most feminine of the three!

    Marotte

Delicious! once applied I get a mishmosh of meaty fruit (pear obviously) and warm amber. There's also a woody note popping through, and a slight metallic tinge (I'm guessing the bronze musk or the pyrite?) The whole blend fits together perfectly, and if the notes weren't listed I wouldn't be able to determine what this was made of. Overall, I'm getting a fruity warm and resinous scent, with a bit of wood and a green/gold hard note supporting the blend as a whole rather than as a main dominant note. It's uni sexual and lovely!

    Coxcomb

Mmmm I'm totally digging on this! Once applied, I get a warm Moroccan musk (which is a more of a golden-spice laced musk to my nose) and resins with the red currants providing a sweet background. This is thick and sweet smelling. As it dries down, it morphs into a more uni sexual blend with a bit of green sage laced frankincense popping through the currants. This is total win, and I'm glad I have a bottle to treasure!

    Moon of Ice

Oooo this is lovely! Once applied, I get a cold breath of fresh air mingled with soft lush pine and delicate flowers. In the far reaches of the blend, I can smell a sort of soft and fuzzy note similar to other lunar oils that I've worn. I wonder if it's the traditional lunar oils that brings on that calm distant barely noticeable note? Maybe I'm just being silly though. Overall, it's a minty cool pine and flowers blend. I love this and will treasure my decant.

    Symmakhia

This has aged into something so lovely. Once applied, I smell vanilla and pear. It's gentle and delicious. Interestingly enough though, as it starts to dry down, it morphs into a much more potent scent. It's vanilla laced florals with a slight smokiness wafting around. It's creamy, fruity and floral all at the same time. Though the floral note in this is a bit rough (strong florals and I aren't the best of friends) I still think that this is lovely as long as I don't huff too hard. Light sniffs make it much more agreeable, and light sniffs also help the pear pop out more. The rose is also a lovely companion to the pear. I'm going to let this age a little more and smell the magic that this blend can make in the future.

    Judith and Holofernes

Ohhhhhh my goddddd I am in teh love with this for sure! Once applied, I get a sweet honeyed skin musk, warmed with patchouli and sandalwood. The resins are so smokey and freaking gorgeous, but not dirty at all. This is something that everybody would love to wear. The honey in this one is not a syrupy honey at all. It's more of a honey musk. It's beautiful and feminine, but not sugary sweet at all. There's also an airy floral note that's hidden in the background. It isn't a note that you can pick out easily. It's there as a supporting role rather than a main note focus. I'm going to be needing a bottle of this!

    Pontia

This is a lovely lavender. It's not the medicinal kind really. It kind of reminds me of lavender and licorice. Don't ask me how because it doesn't make sense to me either It's quite lovely and would work well scented in a sachet for my chonie drawer

    Zenobia

Thank you Ralenth for the decant! You're the best!!! Once applied, I get warm, beautiful resins layered with rich spices. The cloves are an amazing companion to the patchouli. There's a faint dustiness or smokiness floating around too. It's very faint though, and it's not overpowering at all. The combination as a whole make this lovely blend for resin lovers like myself. I think that I'll need to find a whole bottle now!! I bet this will age beautifully!!

    Punkie Night

I'm so happy to have found a decant of this lovely blend! Right after I apply it to my arm, I get a blast of spiced apples and tart juicy cranberries!! I can also smell something like fir tree's in the background. It's not too strong though. It really does bring to mind apple orchards. Overall, the impression that I get from this is mulled wine, but instead of wine, it's apple cider drenched in beautiful spices like cloves, and cinnamon and all spice. I hope that one day the lab will be able to revisit this blend.

    Glukuprikos

Freshly applied, I get a big flash of calm and cooling lavender. This is manly for sure. As it starts to dry down, it's starting to warm up with the amber. The amber is playing a fair game with lavender... neither are fighting each other too hard! Once it's dry I'm picking up a warm and musky lavender men's cologne. It doesn't smell too great on me, but it'll probably smell wonderful on the husbeast!

    Bruised Violet Compound

I’ve been letting my imp age a bit. It’s been nearly a year since I received it. Right off the bat, I smell sweetened violets with maybe a hint of patchouli underneath. It’s very subtle on my skin. It’s only present as an earthy note. As it dries down, it sweetens up quite a bit. I can really smell the currants coming through now. Behind it, the violet is popping through lightly. It’s only present as a floral note. It also isn’t distinguishable as “violet”. It’s dry now, and my overall impression is sweet currants with violets and earth. Very nice!

    El Dia de los Reyes

I received a free-cant of this beauty in a swap. I believe that this is the 2007 version. Once applied, I get a blast of delicious coffee with chocolate and spices. What makes this great though, is that it is the scent of fresh mellow coffee grounds dampened with creamed spices and sweetened with a bit of chocolate. It's not a normal coffee at all. Coffee can sometimes throw off a bitterness, but that bitterness isn't present in this. It's the smell of a coffee flavored dessert. Foody lovers will love this, but I think that this is a boundary cutter. Foody haters (like me) would probably enjoy this as well! I love it!!!

    Voodoo Queen

First of all, Thank you soooo very much Tartchef for sharing a few precious drops of this with me. You are fantastic! Now then, I must say that this is beautiful! Slightly smokey, but sweet at the same time. The sweetness might be something either fruity or floral, I can't tell which. Maybe a fruit blossom? I can't distinguish it because it rings together in a perfect smooth rhythm with the smokiness of the incense of the background. I agree with the comparison between Gypsy Queen and Voodoo Queen but minus the rose note. As it dries down, it doesn't change much, except that it goes just a touch powdery.. but not too much that it turns ugly. It maintains it's overall beauty. I also notice a slightly spicy note.. maybe carnation is involved? How painful this is. It's so rare, but I need some of this. It's gorgeous!

    Spanked

First of all, THANK YOU STELLANS for being so kind as to share this fantastic oil with us! You are truly amazing!! Now all I can say about this is HOLY!! This is just fantastic. And just like others say, I can totally see how this is coveted. I don't see how anybody can not like it. It's the Michael Jackson of oils. There's not a single person out there who can deny that this is amazing. It's spicy, sweet, earthy, and oh so sexy. This is the finest example of perfect harmony between oils. You can't tell where one note begins and another ends. The bourbon isn't boozy, the patchouli isn't dirty, the leather isn't meaty, and the cardamon isn't foody... and yet they compliment each other perfectly! Amazing! I hope that one day the lab will be able to resurrect this one.

    Eve

When I first applied, I got a blast of sweet and juicy apple blossom, with just a tiny touch of rose. Not too much rose, just enough for me to notice that under the yummy apple blossom is the perfect amount of rose! As it dries down, the roles reverse. It's now rose, with just a slight touch of apple blossom. The honey is present to keep the two from having a battle royal. Keeps them both calm, makes sure that they don't kill me with harsh appley/rose omgwhoa-ness. I wish that the wet stage stayed the same on dry down! I love rose, but I amp it like crazy and all rose blends become SN rose on me. I'll probably be sending this off in a swap, but only because I have just way too many rose blends!

    Lorelei

A tragic heroine from German lore. In despair over a faithless lover, she threw herself into the Rhine. In death, she has become a siren that haunts that river to this day, luring sailors to their doom. Neroli, sandalwood, ylang ylang. Soft and lovely. Wisps of smokey delicate florals just kinda swirling around. It's a gentle scent, but with a decent throw. It's a touch floral, a touch airy, and just a soft lift of sandalwood. Very pretty, but not bottle worthy. I'll keep my imp though! It would be a great layering scent too.

    Mad Hatter

I kinda have a crush on Mad Hatter Once applied, I get sweet mint!!! As it dries down, a little musk pops in to say hello. I can also pinpoint the lavender hanging around the edges. Also on the dry down, the mintyness (I'm going out on a limb and assuming that the mintyness is pennyroyal?) becomes a bit stronger. It's a morphing mint for sure. If you take just a little whiff, you smell a sweet almost vanilla mint. If you inhale the sucker, the mint can become strong enough to clear your nasal passages! I love it!! This is an amazingly refreshing blend of yummyness and utter foolishness!

    Squirting Cucumber

Ooooo! Once applied, the first thing I think of is the BBW cucumber mellon spray I used to douse myself with in HS when it was sooper popular! The cucumber is lovely and sweet, with just the tiniest sprig of green grass hanging around the background. The sweetness of the cucumber is keeping the grass from becoming too grassy, which I feel is a good thing. This isn't your generic cucumber... it's sweetened up just a little bit. Very nice indeed!!

    Tweedledum

Wowza! This is my cup of tea that's for sure!! Anything with fruit + patchouli = win in my book!! once applied, I'm picking up juicy mango with a touch of tea. The fig is behaving itself, and the patchouli is a supporting role. It's not dominant at all. It's sweet and juicy with a touch of naughty incense. Brilliant!!! I wonder how this will age? I hope that the patchouli thickens up just a little more.

    Eustephanos

Mmmm this is lovely! It's super red rose sweetened with juicy pomegranate and surrounded by a haze of smokey incense. It's very powerful, and the rose is very bright. As it dries down, I'm getting more amber. I can tell by the vague dash of baby powder trying to make it's way to the top. Almost dry the rose is trying just calm down a little bit, and the amber is trying to break through. Towards the end, the rose wins. It's nice, but I have so many rose scents already. I'll be passing this one along.

    Braii

This one is one of my favorites from the trunk show! It's oh so juicy with lots of fruity notes and spices. Yummy yummy spices! I don't detect any cinnamon though, as I don't get any burny feel on my arm. It's like apple cider spices. As it dries down, the spices and the fruit meld together to make a fantastically sweet and juicy Autumn mix on my arm. It has a faint warmth rolling around too.. almost like warm apple cider, (or some other fruity cider). This actually reminds me of baking apples in the oven! Not a pie, but taking apples and stuffing them with spices. Freaking amazing! Very festive, and the throw is wonderful too!!

    Dragon Pecker v2

Woooo Dragon Pecker!! When wet, I smell dragons blood and dry cedar. The dragons blood keeps the cedar from becoming too woody though. Gives it a little kick. As it dries down, the cedar becomes less prominent. The dragons blood isn't too rich. There is definitely sweet fruity note in there as well mixing in with the dragons blood. Once dry, the cedar calms down a little bit, leaving it woody and sweet with just a touch of dragons blood resin. Very nice!!!
