  1. This is pretty. Wet, I get tart, fresh citrus from the yuzu and grapefruit, with a hint of light white floral in the background. As it dries, the citrus fade and the floral becomes more prominent. Overall, I'm left with a light, citrus-floral that somehow reminds me of cleanliness, like fresh laundry and lemon surface cleaner. Beautiful, but it does remind me a bit of artificial air freshener.

  2. Are there any sweet strawberry GCs without florals? The only hit on the site I get is for suganiyot and that was an LE. There is one with a boozy champagne I am going to have to try and then things like Hollywood Babylon that come off more like cherry cool aid and powder on me.

Beaver'versary is seriously amazing and I would love to recreate it.

Maybe Maenad or Mania--I get strawberry from both of those, but I wouldn't put either as a dupe for Beaver'versary...

  3. Interesting! I get a very sweet scent, with floral and aquatic qualities, but predominantly just very sweet and pretty. Will need to test again.

EDIT: Second test, is sweet and pretty, a kind of effervescent/champagne note in the background as well.

  4. Slightly powdery from the opium, slightly soapy from the honeysuckle and slightly bitter from the vetiver, yet somehow this combination works better combined than any of the individual components would on its own. Still, not for me.

  5. Eden just smells like honey on me--straight, golden honey poured from the jar--not at all like what the Lab's typical "honey" note of doom smells like on me. Pretty, but not for me.

  6. This starts off overwhelmingly zesty kumquat--kind of artificial and single note--luckily this tones down and the tea comes out as well as the neroli, giving it more body, but still very much a citrus scent. Nothing stands out about this to me.

  7. Wow, this is super gorgeous! So excited to finally get to try it. This is a sweet, fruity light rose--the lotus comes off as almost pear-like. Pretty and girly and bright. I would put it in the same vein/family as Les Bijoux and Roses, Pearls and Diamonds--fans of either should give this one a go!

  8. This scent is cozy encapsulated--sweet tonka, warm leather, like a fire crackling in a worn, well-loved library. Really interesting and pretty, this starts off more incense-y on me, but turns into mostly tonka and leather and wood--very sweet and warm, with the rosewood and parchment lurking in the background, adding a softer note.
