This is so pretty! It's a beautiful rose, well tempered by the warmth of rosewood and a slight green note from either the chammomile or violet (no misbehaving violet here!). It reminds me of Belle Vinu, which I also love. I will have to test them side by side.

Wet, this is SO lovely--lilies and heliotrope sometimes go haywire on me, but I truly hope it will not be the case here. A pretty, bright and sweet floral. White, but not cloying. EDIT: This dries off to a creamy, slightly spiced floral (carnation-like to my nose). Very pretty still, similar to what I imagine Alice smells like on many.

Very pretty and light! This smells super similar to this year's Peach, Ginger, and Cubeb HG (Lupercalia 2015). Would love this as a linen scent, just OK as a perfume. Clean and fresh and almost citrus-y. Lovely!

In the imp, this smells like a mint julep and/or mouthwash. Dry, very aquatic mint with just a splash for bouron. Interesting but not something I would ever wear.
-
I get primarily the slightly spiced dryness of sandalwood, tinged with orange. The honey turns powdery, as it is wont to do on me. This smells SO familiar to me, but I can't place it! Pretty and pleasant, but not something I would reach for.

Wet is all chocolate pepermint and pistachio, which gives it a slightly powdery, nutty air. This smells like Tokyo Stomp dipped in peanut butter. Too foody for me but not unpleasant.

Lots of interesting notes in this one. Wet, I get the amber-y blood musk and sweet wine first and foremost, colored with sweet honey and spices. As it dries, the musk calms done and other spice notes being to appear. I smell like a red hot wearing some nice perfume.

Wet, this is all lovely rose, just perfect and not overpowering. As it dries the lily (my death note of this bunch), begins to shriek. It remains well behaved for lily, but the scent is still too white floral and headache inducing.

I like civet in Chanel, but have realized that opium doesn't often agree with me. Wet, this scent is the musky-powderiness of civet sweetened up and thickened by opium. Something about this seems very heady and dense. It's very pretty and sensual, creamy and powdery and musky. It might be a bit much for me, will need a second skin test.

I've been dying to try this as a GC alternative to my beloved Buck Moon. In the imp and wet, this is mostly amber with the same super-skin-musk-dust as Buck Moon. A great start! Hopefully the amber will calm down as it dries. And it does! This is amazingly similar to Buck Moon on me, but with a slightly spicier and more aquatic feel. Going to try this one out for a few more spins to see if it's a true keeper.

This smells lovely in the bottle and I love skin musk, so I had high hopes for this despite the dubious nature of all the other notes. Wet, this is close to the skin, light musk and sweet honey, all with a cinnamon--but still on the plant and green. The cinnamon is very dominant in this one. After awhile this is just cinnamon.

I love cassis, alas this scent was too spicey for me. Wet, I get a true spice note with a prune-y background (like plum, but something off). Later, it lightens up but it still strangely spicey and sweet in a kind of sickening way.

How did I miss that vetiver was a note in this? The vetiver here actually is pretty tame and behaves itself. It blends with the cedarwood to give a wet, woodsy scent. Overall, this is a dark green forest-y scent. Not unpleasant, but very masculine to my nose.

This scent is the same wet and dry for me. It's a sweet powdered floral, honestly reminds me of those Valentine's Day candies or Smarties and some flowers.
-
Wet, this is dry dead grass--not quite hay, which has a sweet quality to it, this is just dry straw. During dry down, a vetiver note comes out (yikes!), which must be the scorched/dead element and the nail polish remover element others are talking about. Fully dry, it goes back to just dry grass but slight to greener, mixed with another floral.

Light, paper dry sandalwood over a soft musk base. Something sort of incense-y toward the end.
-
Beautifully sweet floral (lilac) over honey that for once is not powdery on me, with just a hint of incense at the end. A very sweet scent, but not overly foodie, spiced at the end.
-
The zippy, effervescent bubbly note from the Lab's Champagne scents plus something green and herbal in the background that actually smells kind of dank on me (not the cool kind of dank, the wet bad kind).
-
I get primarily dark, spiced woods from this--pretty sure there is some vetiver in here. Not for me.
-
Whoever said plastic doll head is spot on. Sugary sweet and something slightly artificially floral, very play-doh like.
-
I get predominantly spice from this, then the slightly aquatic-white of lotus and the herbal lavendar scent. Realizing belatedly none of these notes is for me.
-
This is a cloying white floral with a musk background for me. I don't have much experience with ylang ylang, but I think, like lilies, it is a note that doesn't work well for me.

This shares much in common with Rapunzel. A young, bright green floral over a soft background. This is sharper and less floral than Rapunzel, but still very bright and not at all the sap-like, sharp floral green florals can often take.

Angel's trumpet, bois de rose, orris, and wild lettuce. A fresh, sweet green floral. Young pretty lettuce (which makes no sense...). It starts off slightly wet and aquatic, but it dries off to a pretty soft finish, almost musky or slightly powdery. EDIT: Starts off green floral with a creamy background. Dries to more herbal, green floral, powdered. Very green and fresh, perfect for Spring but not quite as well loved a replacement for my discontinued Rosalind. EDIT: Nevermind! After a little while more, reverts back to original state: light, sweet green and creamy. Lovely and exactly what I need for Spring!

In the bottle, this is wet green and dirt--the moss and a sap-filled yew make it a wet green note. As it dries, the rose comes out as a soft floral--a very pretty rose, but the other notes keep it green and wet. This is what I expected The Rose to smell like: an entire rose, from the lush floral head, to the green stem, to the dirt at its roots. A very pretty floral plus a little something, but too straightforward of a rose for me.
