Crikey! I get a scent of amber, currants, almonds and ... gasoline?! VERY strong, almost unable to wear it out of fear? For a few minutes I expected it to burn my skin off. After a while it does soften, almost goes a little powdery and the scary gasoline smell disappears, the throw is not nearly as strong as I expected it to be once it settled on my skin. It's actually a calm, exotic, warm and enveloping blend, it has a very tight top note too. I can hardly smell it actually after 10 minutes. Hmm.

When I wear this I get a lot of men telling me how fragrant I smell. I ask them if it's bad or good and they say they love it. It's a really male magnet! Nothing else I wear gets the attention this does. I think it very much smells like a sticky, slightly spicey caramel. It's not something I would wear all the time but it's quite sexy without being too deep.

This did smell very spikey and strong in the imp bottle so I was reluctant to try it. I slathered it on today anyway because I thought it would be silly to avoid! At first it was a nice fir smell with an interesting touch of fresh shoots, well, that's what it reminded me of! And it REALLY cleared my head, I had a better focus after wearing this and I was impressed! It softened about an hour later and I could smell what seemed like vanilla or coconut underneath it, it is beaaaautiful. I really like this scent and I am glad the sweetness came through for me unlike it did on other people, I feel so lucky

Mmm! I got this frimp off the_witching_hour in a swap! I have been looking forward to trying it for a while, I love the name and the soil note is such an aphrodisiac for me, hehe. First on this smellt very green, herby and medicinal with a strong dirt note. It was wafting around me very very strong, almost had a clearing efect on my head. 20 minutes later it softened and sweetened now I am smelling a shiney soft incense-y berry scent beneath a dusty layer of pine with a hint of soil. It's quite warm and comforting now, a nice, warm glittering burgundy as opposed to the striking green siren it first started off as. I like both stages equally! Will need a bottle, I hope it doesnt fade too quickly!

I quite liked this but I did lather it on without realising such a delicate floral scent in the vial could be so strong! It is herby and floral and is very feminine but with a masculine edge. However, it does seem to sour after about 5 hours

This didn't strike me very much in the vial but it makes a wonderful transformation once it is on. I get the impression it would smell nice on clean, unscented skin otherwise it could go a bit foul.. HOWEVER, it is heavenly. A slightly sweet, gentle smokey spice. I get the colour bisque from this. It lasts quite a long time too! I wore it to a party last night and despite the smokey environment I can just about still smell it 18 hours later!

I need a while for this to grow on me. Usually I like my scents with a delicate sweetness or soft, sensuality running through but this is very UNCOMPRIMISING! It is sharp, violent and angry. In fact it smells vaguely like sandalwood which smells oh so masculine and strong on me so my first impression as I tried it on (not knowing what it was) was, "one for the boyfriend." However, it is beginning to get a bit incensy now I have had it on for 3 hours, it's still strong though! That means the wear on me is very long-lasting. This isn't firey like cinammon but dark and painful. It makes me feel protected.

I didn't think it was possible to like this more than Samhain but I LOVE this.. so much. It is cool, dark and eerie with a bit of a ghostly swirl of smoke whilst Samhain is very harvesty and orange. There is a sweet similarity to them. I have no idea what the notes in here smell like individually (besides the clove..which doesn't really pop out) but it's so gorgeous I can't handle it! I just love it when the wind blows and I get a whiff of my own scent. As for throw etc, it's not as strong as Samhain but it still gets the attention of people. Don't you just love it when your friends tell everybody to sniff you

My first Rose scent without the blasted Jasmine I think the lily is the most prominent note though and lilies remind me of my 18th birthday and the glittering spring time when I bought loads and loads of them to dcorate my house. (thank you for the frimp Beth!!) This is so soft and floral, it reminds me of soft pale blankets. But it is very ladylike, if it wasn't for that dark musk in the blend this would be more bby rather than lady. *Sigh* It's so romantic. I wouldn't have gone for this but most of the Love Potion blends make me react positively despite the ingredients being ones I would not go for.

First sniff! Citrusy tobbacco smoke. Well, it has the smooth, smothering elements of thick smoke but witha citrust bite. I don't think I can do a very good review because I just had a Lush bath with oily bath melts and I can still smell it on my skin. Anyway. I can definitely tell there is Sandalwood in here because my skin really amps that ingredient up; almost all sandalwood scents smell VERY manly on me but there is sweet mouthwatering juicy mango which playfully jumps through the sandalwood every now and again. I have a feeling Sandalwood will be the last note standing but that's the best I can do without Something Wicked confusing my nose. I think this is one I will do my best to swap with my manbeast for his Jazz Funeral, I bet this would really suit him because his skin doesnt fume sandalwood like mine does and ironically smells more delicate on him Fingers crossed.

I think this is so pretty. Neo-Tokyo is Gennivre's younger, airier sister.

Wow I love this! It is sweet and creamy but also quite musky. I have no idea what Dragon's Blood Resin smells like on its own so I'll have to give my Dragon's Musk a sniff to strike a comparison when I get back home. This is so beautiful though. I need a bigger bottle.

I Love this! I REALLY DO! It smells like currants and moss on me. Someone please gimme another imp or a bottle? I'll do anything

Wow, spice and fire! Red hot cinnamon! Hot tamales! And a tiny bit of orangey sweetness too. I like this. It's only just dried down on me and I put it over mata hari which I washed off in disgust earlier but it smells nice with it! This is interesting, I think I am amping the spices and I'll wear this when I want to get noticed.

Goodness. I was about to go nuts for not noticing the Jasmine note in the description and becoming overcome by the curiousity for the other notes by buying 5ml. Jasmine is overwhelming on me. When I first sniffed the bottle I thought, "Oh no another powdery floral!?" and the same on my skin. Very very overwhelming. I could not smell anything else. However, I sniffed the bottle again which is when I found the coffee and after applying on my other wrist I could smell a dark undertone. It's bitter but still POWDERY. NOOO! I should have ordered that 5ml of Dragon's Milk instead. I think giving this time to settle down and allowing my nose to recover.. I might stop smelling like an old lady. I wonder if I'd get compliments for this (edit: my mother says it smells of jasmine powder and my dad just insulted my fragrance. He doesnt like this but he likes how samhain smells and goodness my skin ITCHES I need to figure out if I have an allergy to one of the ingredients). Bah. Any takers...?

In the vial this was VERY medicinal. A strong tea tree perhaps with some pepper. As soon as I applied it I sneezed. It is very piercing I think upon first application but it warms up from it's hard bite to something more soozing and rough. I thought I would hate this but it's getting nicer.. however I still don't think I'd wear it much because it's making me feel like I am recovering from a huge banging! It woke me up at least Edit: Okay half an hour at least and it did what I did not expect! It went very sweet like burnt sugar, a flame of a sweet n spicey candle- it's sleepy! I think I DO like this a lot on second thoughts. My male counterpart really likes it but as he only just applied it he says it smells like antiseptic in a good way... I'll see what else it does to him.

This smells so much of stink pee on my skin! On my boyfriend it smells rich and spicey and red and and poisonous.

As soon as I got this I had to open it. A peppery, sweet and woody scent. Out of all the notes, in the bottle I can smell the brown sugar, caramel and wood. No apricot! Still not apricot when I put it on but it does smell creepy! I like it. I can vouch for the smokeyish comparison with Hearth but hearth is more sweet than the earthy spicey wood I think. This gets sweeter as time goes on with the caramel and hazelnut playing around with the peppery wood (edit: Like gingerbread!). The strength of the patchouli resides a bit although it wasnt really that overwhelming either. I used to hate patchouli but in this and Tezcatlipoca, it's beautiful. My boyfriend loves it, he says it's his favourite he's ever smellt and reminds him of museums. It smelly fuller amd darker on him whereas it goes sweet on me.. then again pretty much tipped it on himself then asked if I still wanted it. NOOO! You can't have it dear. My dummy!

I quickly snappped up 5mls of all the Baudelaire inspired scents because I am a tart like that! Lo and behold none of them seem to work and I am actually. very. frustrated. My boyfried took Fleurs du mal which he mixes with a bit of Wolf Moon (another scent that hates me) but I don't know what to do with this one! Let me think. Inm the bottle it smellt quite like vomit to me but I was brave today and put a good amount on my wrists. I was very much looking forward to spicey inscence notes sweeted with caramel and honey but I got talcum poweder. I really dislike talcum powder florals (( NOOOO! Saying that though there is a really strange gorgeous undernote (perhaps a nice faint sweet coffee scent?) that is battling with the foggy flowers. Come on little guy, win!

I was given this as a freebie by Beth in my biiiig order. I put them all in my box and did a lucky dip and quickly tried this on not knowing what it was. It was very dark chocolate-y slightly dirty and I was really impressed. I couldnt figure what was in it but I was a lot happier that it wasnt rotten on me like Anne Bonny was previously (where I began to smell like stale pee, it works well on my boyfriend though). As it dried it still had that chocolate note (dont you just love bliss!) and I smell a hint of leather which peeks out a tiny bit just to add a flavour and a rush of insense. I really like this scent. There is nothing sweet about it, it is soft, warm and smooth, nice and smokey like an incense filled, warm room with melting chocolate, I don't smell the flowers but no doubt theyre in there somewhere! It is quite woody as well! If this was a colour, it would be burgundy. It doesn't smell that masculine on me unlike most patchouli blends (and sandalwood! my god does that smell manly on me) so I think I'll wear this for cozey nights when I'm feeling dark.

This scent is Zen manifest in the city. It is very light but the lightness is an illusion of the delicate scents that work so well to produce this. I can smell very sweet oranges, like mandarins, glace cherries and something very watery... Bambo, reeds and pink petals in a lake. Of course, that is not to forget the lilac and pink neon lights of the city to cover the vibrant, glittering side of this blend. If you imagine cool, fragrant air blowing in from the mountains and lakes on a rainy spring dusk with the beautiful lights, or a big humming city built upon its sweet history; that's neo-tokyo. EDIT This is like a more airy version of Gennivre in Carnival Diabolique. Mmf.

Ahh! This iws very nostalgic. It smells like tropical bubblegum in the bottle and wet on the skin. A very bright and sweet scent. It reminds me of the colour yellow, daffodils and fresh mangoes for some reason. It IS delicate for some reason but I can't pinpoint why... yet. As it dries on the skin, a sort of pine note comes through and takes away the yellowness in this scent and turns it softer and more gold, it has a sweet hum though. It doesnt smell of bubblegum anymore but it is more subdued and mild, very relaxing, it paints a picture of a lazy summer sunset. I can smell a VERY tiny hint of freshly cut wood amongst the golden flowers and delicate pines. It's pretty, a keeper!.

Zombi is so curious. To be honest, I didn't buy this scent to enjoy it but more so to have as a trophy because I loved the concept of the description so much! I have to admit though, I really got into it when I wore it. It smells like damp soil with a delicate hint of florals. The soil smell is very rich and fresh when the oil is wet. It got quite overpowering on the skin but I like how the flowers swirl in the background. Who though zombies smellt so nice? So interesting, I love it!
-
I really love this scent! It's quite a rich spicey.. erm.. I'm not sure, dried berries? Juicy sultanas?currants? A sort of mulled wine. I got a lot of compliments for this and it really smells quite sharp and it's strong but in a good way! I have it on my skin for about 15 hours and you can still smell it

MmMmmm, I don't eat much chocolate but I get my fix off this! My whole household are crazy about it! It smells like rich melted Nutella in the bottle; creamy and warm. I'd say a singe note but there is just a bit more to it. On the skin in blends nicely and works well with the natural oils so it's not as weird and overpowering!
