When this is first applied, it's soapy as heck, but I vaguely detect a spicy, sweet floralness under it. So now I'm waiting to see if the soapiness will go away and if whatever is underneath will come out some more. Okay, ten minutes later, and the soapiness is gone. Now it's just that spicy, sweet floral that was underneath in the wet stage. The scent really matches the concept.. it has a sort of duality with one aspect of it being spicy and dark and the other being creamy and sweet. I thought it was funny that I've wanted to try Zarita since I started BPAL in 2007 but never got around to testing it, and now I find that I quite like it. Will probably end up getting a bottle.

Goodness, a pine scent that doesn't remind me of, like someone else said.. Pine-Sol or potpourri! This is a more realistic, dark, rich pine, surrounded by sweet honey and resins. Luckily, the patchouli isn't turning into pencil shavings like it usually does. I quite like this and will consider a bottle. It also makes me miss shelldoo. <3

A very clean scent, comparable to CKone and VS'S Body By Victoria, so it's very perfumey, much like something you'd buy in a department store. I'll keep the decant for those days where I'm around people that don't appreciate BPAL fruits and spices and resins, I think.

Caramel and apples.. can't really detect much else. I'm not sure what it is in this blend that's making it smell just a bit plasticky. I don't think it's the caramel because the caramel bit of this smells just how caramel is supposed to, imo, so there's something in here that's making it all smell a bit artificial. My skin chemistry is like a Murphy's Law unto itself.. if it CAN turn plasticky, it will.

This is creamy apple. It's sort of like a sister to Agape and Fearful Pleasure; however, Agape had a sort of indiscriminate feel to it where I could only sort of detect a bit of apples underneath a lot of.. I don't know, blandness... and Fearful Pleasure was like really sour apples on me. When you sniff Lambs-Wool, first you get a light apple scent, but right before you stop inhaling and begin to pull away, you get a really sweet, nice creaminess. I'm guessing that's the milk mixed with the spices. This is nice and I'll definitely keep the decant, but I've got a ton of apple scents as it is so I don't think I'll be needing a bottle.

This smells... like the Dove conditioner my mom uses. As soon as I sniffed it on my skin, I went to the bathroom to compare the two. They smell exactly alike. It's that soapy, floral, clean scent that's just too much to handle as a perfume. Will be passing this one on.

Translucent blooms, ethereal white resins, and davana. White floral and kind of sharp. I love davana, and can detect it in this.. but I think the flowers are taking over too much, and the white resins are either not teaming well with everything or are just very faint and undetectable. It was nice in the imp, but when it hit my skin, it was just too sharp for me. White flowers really enjoy amping on my skin to the point where I'm sneezing, and I'm pretty sure the blooms in this blend are white, because it is such a white scent.. but verging on floral dryer sheet kind of white. I'm afraid I'll have to pass this one on.

This smells like Vitamin Water from start to finish. Very fruity, and kind of syrupy... like artificial flavors from Vitamin Water. It even has a "water" undertone to it because it's so light. It's not bad as a scent but not something I want to be wearing. I think of younger girls wearing this.

Serpents with Glittering Eyes and Forky Tongues

Straight away, this is reminding me of Green Phoenix, because I believe they both have the green musk. It's light and just ever-so-slightly soapy, but not in a bad way. It's a very nice, pretty soap. It's well-blended so that even though I know there's green musk in there, no note overshadows another. So far I like it.. it's a soft green scent that reminds me of dewdrops and the warmth of spring. Right now I'm going to let this one sit on my skin for half an hour and come back to see if it's changed, as previous reviewers have said it does. Half an hour later, the soapiness gone and this is just all soft, green, musky, and dewy. It reminds me of some of the bubble bars I've gotten from Lush but I can't describe how or remember which ones, I just know this is familiar and it has to be from something I got from Lush. I like this... strongly considering a bottle. -
In the imp, this smells so creamy and golden. And it stays like that for a while on my skin. Amber, Egyptian musk, myrrh, saffron, and cardamom are always good on my skin. So I'm thinking maybe the lotus or almond or the combination of the two has something to do with the way this one dries down. It's almost peppery and sort of dull when it's been on my skin for a while... like certain brands of sun block. Which is a shame, because it starts out so nice. I think I'll keep my imp at least until I know if this will work in a scent locket.

This scent is pleasant and all. Yummy, fruity cake. But I can't help but be reminded of some of the toy cakes I had when I was little and the food-scented dolls. This scent is very soft and comforting because it brings me back to those days. The trouble is, I don't know if I would wear it regularly, because it reminds me of tea parties as a little girl. It's nice, but I'm going to have to think about whether or not to keep it.

On me, this is very musky and rosy. It's kind of powdery and spicy with that hint of floral from the rose. It reminds me of classic perfumes like Chanel No. 5.. really mature, heady, and full. This is something I could imagine being wildly popular during the first half of the 19th century. It's very strong and has a lot of throw. It's not really "me" though. I needed to wash it off after a while because it's too strong and heady for me. I prefer lighter scents, and I can't describe this one as such.

A rather nice men's cologne. I get mostly white musk, leather, and lavender. Like someone else said, a little too sweet for the Antichrist. The sage and cedar are nowhere to be found. When first applied I don't get spice at all, but then I think the carnation comes out and makes it smell just a little spicy. When it's been on for a long time, it starts to smell a little bit powdery. This is a lovely masculine scent, but I don't see myself keeping it, as I lean more toward girly scents.

Patchouli and orange blossom. I don't get the ginger at all. It reminds me a little of Snake Oil, probably because of the patchouli, but with a floral note. I don't like Snake Oil, but I kind of like this. Usually patchouli smells like pencil shavings on me, but here it smells rather nice. I'm surprised by this one. I think I'll keep the imp but need to try it out a little longer to see if a bottle of this is in my future.

A very dry scent, much like sweet powder. It's soft and warm and musky, but not really wowing me. Thankfully I don't get vetiver at all, oddly. Another odd thing is that I don't get the woodiness other people are getting.. I think I'll keep the decant but wont opt for a bottle.
