    2004: Paper Phoenix

I havent experienced either Antique Lace or Dorian, so. (Can I even call myself a BPALer after 7 years and not smelling them?!) Soft lavender (think lavender picked a few days ago and warmed in the sun) and some of the greenery that comes with it, along side a dainty cup of white tea, a sprinkle of pink pepper to give it just a tiny bit of a kick, all on a cloud of pillowy memories. Memories of soft perfume, ivory lace squares, more dried flowers. This is one of those oh, siiiigh scents in that you wear it to feel pretty, special or melancholy. I dont think one bottle is enough, this is going to be a forever scent. Reminds me of: De Vos Unicorn and The Lilac Wood

    Mouse's Long and Sad Tale

Wet: heavy on the vanilla, with a touch of floral peeking through Dry: now the amber and sandalwood provide a soft base for this overall light scent, which I think is quite lovely. My description: A sweet, dry vanilla with soft florals

    Midnight on the Midway (2006)

Lightning splits the sky, illuminating the skeletal skyline of the carnival rides: sugared incense and night-blooming flowers. Powdery blue/lilac floral incense, with a soft, fluffy sweetness. Midnight on the Midway starts out on the soapy side, but the dry down is a fluffy periwinkle daydream of a scent. This definitely has an ethereal feel to it.
