Grassy with a lot of herbage and vegetation. It reminds me too much of a field full of allergen-producing plants.

This was a nice floral, but nothing about it stood out.

Soft and airy, reminiscent of spring. I love that I can pick out the linden. Beautiful. Refreshing.

It reminded me of Hymn, but not as interesting. The roses in this went powdery.

Ugh! Cherry cough syrup and bubblegum. Too sticky, too juvenile. And it gave me a skin irritation.

This started throwing something, almost menthol. It started out as a powdery scent, but dried nicely. However, there's something in the background that smells...off. Whatever that something is, it ruins the entire perfume for me. Which is such a shame because amber & musk usually work well on me.

Very minty, and headach-y. This one didn't sit well with me.

Powder, powder, acidic, earthy powder. Did I mention powder? I wanted to like this scent. Black opals are one of my favorite gemstones, and while the perfume is nice in the bottle, it goes straight to powder on my skin.

I couldn't differentiate any notes in the bottle. It just smelled of "perfume." When I put it on, I could smell the florals and incenses. I love labdanum as a base note, and the rose absolute works on me Yay! The first rose blend to not go straight to powder. This blend really wants a mood description, more than a list of what I can and can't smell. I was in a foul mood last night, and I thought a drop or two of this would calm me down. It did. Rather than stay up half the night steaming, I fell asleep at a reasonable hour. Today is a glorious, sunny, warm spring day. Hymn is the perfect scent to be wearing. This is a perfume that just feels right, and holy, and pure, and nothing bad can happen when you're wearing it.

It starts out sweet, but fades to a dry poqdery pomegranate. I was disappointed, but I've learned that food-based scents don't work on me.

It starts out as a very complex floral, very heady. As it dries I can pick out the orchid and jasmine. It quickly dries to a light, ephemeral floral, but it retains it's complexity. It fades rather fast, though.

Pomegrante mixed with amber, and the pomegrante overpowers the amber. I was really hoping the amber would be the dominant note, but, oh well. Foody scents appear to not like me.

It's a rich, spicy, herby chocolate. But I don't like smelling like food. Oh well. And it throws, so all I could smell was choclate.

Whiskey, whiskey, whiskey. I kept sniffing, wondering if there really wasn't any alcohol in there. I wouldn't wear this myself, but I would love to have a man who would wear this. It would be so damn sexy.

This so did not work for me. In the bottle it reeked of cherry cough syrup. On my skin it smelled like sticky, burnt cough syrup. It's very off-putting. I guess dragon's blood & I don't agree.

In bottle: astringent & citrus Wet on skin: sweet and fresh. It smells strongly of rosemary. Dry: Very high, straining scent. Lots of rosemary & citrus. Very astringent. Only lasted for ~15 minutes. I didn't like this one at all. If it stayed longer, it would have given me a headache.

The amber completely overwhelmed everything else in this scent. It was a very warm, rich, full amber, but the amber was all that I could smell. It was a little monotone.

In the bottle: Powdery and dry. It reminds me of lavender and stored linens. Wet on skin: Floral, with a strong rose Dry on skin: The orchid is starting to come out, and the rose goes very powdery. I can't wear soft, light, flowery scents. They disappear too quickly, and just don't smell right on me. Oh well.

This was just unimpressive lilies on me, and faded rather quickly. I don't think I can wear light perfumes.

In bottle: bubblegum sweet, peachy, a hit of resin Wet: Rich peach with a floral background. Dry: Amber and peaches. This perfume makes me happy. It's a rich, thick, heady, summertime fragrance. I *love* how the amber and the peach work together. I see a bottle of this in my future

In the bottle: Sharp. Ozone. Wet on skin: Watery, a little salty. Reminiscent of a sea breeze. Dry on skin: Uh...where'd the smell go? Seriously, it disappeared almost instantly and left me with nothing. Guess I'm not a water person.

I found Bilquis to be very almond-y

Maybe I shouldn't do a review when I'm this stuffy and allergic, but I want to get my first impressions down. It's rich, warm and spicy. My first thought is cloves, but that quickly blends with the rest of the spices. I don't get the cardamom, but that's ok. This would make a very good winter perfume. It seems to exude warmth. It would also work in the very heart of summer. It's just not working for me now in the beginning of spring. This is definitely something I want to come back to.

I almost didn't wear this because of the sickly, sticky-sweet almond scent that came from the bottle. I dislike almonds, and it reeked. I put it on, though, because I know everything smells different on than in the bottle. On my skin the nasty almond almost instantly turned rich and buttery.There was a bit of floral. It dried pretty quickly, and it faded to honey and milk. It's pretty, but I literally have to sniff at my wrists for a good 10 seconds to get a whiff of it. I don't pick up on any of the myrrh or musk at all, and I was hoping for some of that. I'm glad I tried it, but I'm even more glad I got a decanted imp rather than a bottle.
