    Pele

Very pretty. While wet, I can smell the muget (lovely) and the tropical blossoms. As it fades, I can smell the ginger. Unfortunately, it fades quickly and I have to reapply often.

    White Moon

White moon is cool and refreshing and perfect. It captures the essence of lying in a field under a full moon, watching the stars (my favorite summertime camping activity). The white flowers are intoxicating and gentle at the same time. Heady and lush but not overpowering. I can't pick out the individual notes, and I don't want to. This perfume just smells like what the full moon should smell like. I'm so glad I found a bottle of this for sale.

    Scherezade

I smell like a head shop Thankfully I don't smell like shawarma, which is what the term "Middle Eastern spices" brings to mind. At least it fades quickly.

    Brisingamen

I got this imp from my SW. In the bottle it was sharp- almost peppery. I'm not sure what caused that. On my skin, it was a delicate, soft amber. I couldn't smell any of the other notes. The amber was coy and flirtatious, appearing and disappearing throughout the day. I could never smell it on my skin, but just around me. It's a very interesting perfume.

    Villain

Lavender domintated both in the bottle and wet on my skin. Once it was dry it started to throw Old Spice. Ugh.

    Lorelei

In the bottle it smells slightly floral. This was the first perfume where I could smell each note individually. When it was wet on my skin I smelled the slight citrus of neroli. As it was drying the ylang-ylang dominated. The sandalwood was all I could smell once it dried. There was no interplay--each note dominated once and faded away. It was a rather boring perfume in the end.

    Opium Poppy

This smelled burnt, like sesame seeds thrown in the bottom of a wok, or bacon left on the frying pan for too long. And as much as I love the smell of bacon, I don't want to wear it as a perfume. There was something off about this scent.

    Tzadikim Nistarim

This smells of sweet, rich olives. But I don't like olives

    Harvest Moon 2006

There was too much going on in this scent. It smelled of OMGFood right away, and never stopped smelling like food. Which is the point, but disappointing because food scents and I do not get a long. After a while I could pick out the smell of the grains and it smelled a bit like bread, and the cherry scent was too strong, as is usual for my skin. I'm glad I tried it but I just can't wear it.

    Old Scratch

I got a sharp, corrupted lavender that faded rather quickly. In the bottle it was certainly dapper, it did capture the image of Old Scratch very well. It was somewhat perverted Puritain. But just not a scent I'd choose to wear.

    Mr. Ibis

I don't get any green at all. There is a softness, a bit of a mystery hiding somewhere, but mostly I get musk and things that don't play well with musk. It just doesn't smell right on me at all

    The Raven

The raven literally went straight to powder on me, albeit rich, expensive powder.

    Hollywood Babylon

That slight dribble of black cherry turned me off. It smelled strongly of cherry cough syrup when wet. As it dried the vanilla and strawberry came out. It ended up smelling like shampoo.

    Salomé

In the bottle and wet it smells very strongly of almonds. The star jasmine comes out as it dries. There's also a smokiness, which I think is the sandalwood. It perfectly captures the essence of Salome, but I just don't like it. Too much almond.

    Ephemera

This started out as all geranium all the time. As it dried the muget came out and mellowed the geranium. It eventually turned into a heady, rich floral, but I couldn't get passed the geranuim enough to like it.

    Dragon's Musk

When I opened this bottle the scent made my eyes water it was so strong. I don't like the dragon's blood, and as much as I love musk, this just doesn't work for me. I could smell when each note dried. It was very definitely dragon's blood when wet, and musk when dry.

    Selkie

My first thought upon smelling this was "Gorgeous!" and it's only gotten better from there. In the bottle it smells wet with a touch of floral, but once it's on my skin I can smell the primrose. There's also a slight touch of fruit. The primrose is rose without the powder- all the good things about a rose scent. There is a pleasantly strong aquatic so I get the scent of wet roses, which is just lovely. Eventually, after 1/2 hour the honey is noticeable. The other notes blend into a very green seaside plant scent. It reminds me of the Marginal Way in Maine: water, sea spray, sea roses, plants. The bottle art is gorgeous as well. It captures what I see in my mind when I smell this. I am so happy with this bottle!

    The Penitent Magdalen

When I first put it on I get the strong impression of a New Age shop near me- that would be the sandalwood, musk and amber. It faded down to a very mellow vanilla-ish scent, with an incense back note. I like this scent, but I'll need to wear it a few times before I find out if I love it.

    Melancholia

It's very lilac. Soft, ephemeral lilac. I don't get the strength of blooming lilacs, but I do get lilac. Unfortumately, it fades away almost immediately, which makes me very sad. I'll keep my imp and sniff it whenever I need a lilac boost throughout the year.

    Arcana

This was very sharp. The lemon verbena and rosemary made it smell like cleaning products. Not for me at all. I don't do good with strong herbals/food scents. I couldn't detect the frankinsence at all. The best thing about this scent is that it has no staying power on me at all.

    Glasgow

This was very strongly heather. I didn't get the blackberries. It's a nice scent, and it's one I'll wear from time to time, but I can't see myself getting a bottle of it.

    Antique Lace

This is a soft, sweet perfume. It reminds me of my grandmother, who wore Estee Lauder's White Linen. Antique lace is gentle and unassuming, a very pleasant perfume. I'm very happy to have an imp, but I'm not sure that I'd wear it enough to invest in a bottle.

    Crossroads

This was just my first impressions from an imp with just a sniffle in it: I just got a very brief floral that reminded me of lavendar and rosemary. It disappated very quickly. Disappointing. In my last order I got a frimp of Crossroads from the lab, so I decided to try it (again?) to see if there was anything different. This time my first impression was of an herb boquuet--not a bouquet garni, but like walking into a greenhouse and just smelling green and leaves and earth. I'm still not sure if I like it. I need to try it again to see if it is something I could wear long-term.

    Medea

In the bottle it's very sharp and green. Maybe that's the myrtle. There's something very sharp in the top notes. As it dries down it becomes a complex floral, and there are points where the orchid and the labdanum are each dominant. I'm glad the fruits aren't dominant. Completely dry it's a rich incense with just the tiniest hint of powder. I got a bottle of this in trade, unsniffed, because I knew I would like it. It's a scent of strength and femininity and I'm very happy with it.

    Lilac!

I'm sitting in front of a vase of white lilacs in my office, and I can barely keep my nose out of them. It's gotten me in the mood for a lilac perfume. I'm hopeful about the lab's blends, but a little wary, because I've never found a lilac perfume/soap/candle/etc. that has smelled as good as the real thing. I want to try Les Fleurs du Mal and Melancholia. I'm iffy on Dragon's Eye, because I don't like dragon's blood and I'm afraid it will overpower the lilac. Thanks for all the recommendations
