The imp smells of Old Spice/ generic men's cologne. On the skin it becomes more of a ladies' perfume, with the rose and sandalwood dominant. It goes a bit powdery.

I still haven't made up my mind if I like this or not It starts out very floral, cloying and piercing. Then the vanilla amber and the beeswax play tug-of-war for an hour or so until it fades. It's nice and all, but every time I wear it, I think "Do I really want to try it again?" or "What's that smell--oh, yeah, it's me!" Hmmm.... I've never been this waffly about a perfume before. I'll most likely end up swapping it. How's that for conviction.

It's very dusty. It doesn't smell anything like the incense I remember from Holy Thursday Mass (it's the occasion that most screams "Incense" to me). I think it smells more like unlit incense than actively burning incense. Also, it's making my skin where I'm testing very itchy.

The scents that get you the most compliments?

Rose Red has gotten me the most compliments. -
Bailey's Irish Cream.

I'm not a fan of rhododendrons. Thankfully it smells like watered down citrus, which isn't a great scent for me, but it's not bad, really. And it doesn't smell of rhododendron.

The lavender and the lotus throw so much, and they give me a headache
-
Lots of plums, and then it dries to an herbal blend. Still full of plums, but not as foody.
-
The orris root and sandalwood are lovely, but the dragon's blood is too much.
-
I can definitely smell the lime and tangerine. When it dries, it ends up a powdery mint. Too foody for me.

Wet: sugary, a little boozy. Definitely a maple flavor. In fact it reminds me of the Macallan Amber liquor. Dry: it's way too dark! It's not overly dark, but there's an aftertaste of darkness that just doesn't work for me. I'm so disappointed.

It's very fresh, clean, and citrusy.
-
In the bottle it smells of cherries, patchouli and cough syrup It dries much better, into a sugared incense, reminiscent of Midnight on the Midway, which is a favorite. But the initial waft of cough syrup is too much.

2008 OMG- this is happiness in a bottle! It's straight up roses with resin, and it's gorgeous! There's a little throw which is very welcome. I just love this sceent

This turned out to be so musky on me! It's smoky, dark and very sexy, but mainly musky, which is a little odd, since there's no musk note listed.
-
Heather It's wet and green and lovely, herbal, but not floral. It has a pleasant throw. It's raining today, and I think that is helping me love this scent even more. It's just a wonderful scent.

Smoky...chocolatey, all together too foody.
-
Woah-vetivert! I don't get the smokiness, but it's so dark, almost overpowering.
-
This is so rich! Opulent, heady, thick, earthy. Very nice

Deep, dark, earthy...very masculine. I think I would enjoy smelling this on a man. It doesn't smell too good on me.

First impression: hmmm...very nice. The florals are just lovely and the cardamom adds such a nice spice. Thankfully, it's not gone foody. It's nicely spicy, and floral. I'm going to have to try this a few more times, but this might just be the spicy floral that I've been looking for.

It's dark and somewhat burnt. Very strong. I don't think I like it.
-
It's an interesting green scent, but I really dislike peony, and it's gone sort of soapy as it dries.
-
This is certainly an indolent scent. Very heavy and lethargic.

Huh... I really can't smell anything with this....no, wait, there's the faintest hint of something. But I have no idea what it is. Ugh. This scent wants to be more...I can tell there's more here, but I just can't smell it.
