    Saturnalia

This one and my skin chemistry just don't get along at all. I get the scent of walking into an air-conditioned office supply warehouse on a hot summer evening, maybe with a whiff of smoked meats. Or the rubber of brand new flip-flops. Either way, not something I really want to smell like, which is a shame, because I do like violets, but I don't get any from this.

    Mama-Ji

This is pretty sexy stuff. On me, it's a dark, spicy incense--I don't really get florals, and I can't pick out individual spice notes in it. It'd make a great evening scent.

    Mad Sweeney

On me, this doesn't have any noticeable whiskey at all--it's all a slightly spicy woodsmoke. But I like that, since it reminds me of cozy late-night conversations around a campfire, a very comforting scent. I'll be buying a bottle of this one for sure.

    Spider

On me, this is almost all fresh-cut greenery--like being in a florist's shop, but not close enough to any one kind of flower to pick up its scent--with a faint bit of citrus. I like it, though--very clean, very attractive.

    Lurid

This one is delicious on me. Seriously, it's making me hungry. I was worried since I've been having trouble with musks lately, but on me it's all so well-blended that I get a hazy, sweet berry scent and can't quite pick out what's in the background. I'll try it a few more times, and if it stays this good I'll definitely be getting a bottle when the imp runs out.

    Obatala

... Obatala’s ofrenda is soft, white and pure: milk, coconut meat, shea butter and cool, refreshing water. On me, this smells exactly like the Burt's Bees lotion with the milk, honey and coconut oil. I love the scent of that, and this lasts even longer, so I'm very happy with it. I think it's perfect for lazy summer days.

    Tum

In the bottle, I didn't like this one at all--it smelled like grape candy and cloves, but not in a good way. For a few minutes after putting it on, the grape scent was still very strong, but more pleasant than straight out of the bottle. After that, it faded even more, to something more subdued and mysterious. I like it quite a bit, after it's dried down like that.

    Coyote

I adore Coyote. There's just something about it--something warm and cozy and free--that puts me in a good mood right away. It's warm and musky, but the musk isn't overpowering. None of the elements of it are, in fact. They fit together beautifully.

    Destroying Angel

One of the deadliest mushrooms to ever pop through Gaia’s soil. Papery white notes evoke the grace of this fungi, grounded by thin, crisp soil. I don't get a dirt scent at all on this one; on me it's all floral, maybe with a faint undertone of musk. It's a bit more mainstream-perfumey than I was expecting, but it's lovely, and it's stayed with me through an entire work day without fading to nothingness.

    The Coiled Serpent

I think earthy is the best word to describe this. It reminds me of something I can't quite place--early morning on a camping trip maybe, a combination of the earth and trees and dew outside combined with an organic bug-repellent we used to use. It's not bad or unpleasant on me, it's just not my style.
