  1. In the imp, Drink Me is cherry tart and custard. Yum. On me, it's buttered toast, roast turkey, and a little bit of cherry tart. This has to be the ultimate foody scent. It's good, but not something I'd wear every day.

  2. The keeper of secrets: opoponax, Tunisian black amber, night musk, antique patchouli, zdravetz, terebinth, myrrh, and Pimenta racemosa.

On me, Schwarzer Mond is a dark resinous scent. It's a darker Sportive Sun, which now that I think about it, makes perfect sense. Unfortunately, it started to burn, so I won't keep this one.

  3. In the bottle, Lune Noire is orchid and jonquil, really strong but gorgeous. Wet on my skin, it's orchid, jonquil, pear, and gardenia. This is heavenly. Definitely a pale yellow scent. Dry, the flowers start to fade, but the pear is still present. I think this one needs to age a bit, but it's already beautiful now.

  4. Wet on my skin, The Torture Queen is vanilla musk, white tea, gardenia, and a hint of ozone. That must be the chrome, since metallic notes tend to be ozone on me. Dry, the gardenia starts to take over. This is a very feminine blend that's perfect for warm-weather months.

  5. DCCCLXXIX 879

In the bottle and wet on my skin, it's clove single note. Unlike most clove blends, this one doesn't burn. Dry, some cedar starts to come through. This one's interesting but not me.

ETA: I'm giving this one to a funds-challenged friend, who is really into spice blends. Thank God for friends with opposing tastes.

  6. In the bottle and wet on my skin, Aziraphale is old paper and woods. Dry, it's musk and woods. It's on the masculine side of neutral, but I think anyone can wear it. It's damn sexy and a cousin of Port Royal.
