  1. I'll be honest -- I wouldn't know wisteria or ume blossoms if someone waved them in my face, but I do know cherry blossoms. Hanami is strong on cherry blossoms. There's something else here, which I can only assume is the other two flowers. This is gorgeous and I only wish it were stronger on me.

  2. Wet on my skin, Rome is tea rose and juniper. Absolutely lovely. Unfortunately, the juniper soon vanished. Drying, Rome's tea rose and a hint of chamomile. Dry, it's just tea rose. I don't need another tea rose sn, but I'm going to age this and see if it improves.

  3. Strangely, I've been poring the net for Sun, Moon and Stars information today.

All I can say is that I'm going to layer Hanami with Schrodingers Cat when they arrive. I have Schrodingers Cat, and it's the right level of fruity. Hanami will hopefully add the florals. Thinking of a little bit of Fautus underneath it all, but I only ever got fruity floral joy from Sun, Moon and Stars.

Hanami and Schrodinger's Cat? I definitely have to try that. Thanks!

  4. Has anyone else noticed that Antique Lace is similar to Vanilla Fields?

Years ago, I wore Karl Lagerfeld's Sun Moon Stars and Coty's Exclamation pretty much exclusively. I was wondering if anyone knows of any BPAL equivalents?

    ETA: The notes

    Sun Moon Stars

fruit, oriental florals, orange blossom, amber, musk

    Exclamation

amazon lily, orangeflower, jasmine, bergamot, musk, patchouli, amber

  5. In the imp and wet on my skin, Hairy Toad Lily is a sweet, purple scent. Like grapes, but not juicy. Drying, a green note starts to show. Dry, the purple and green notes are even. This is very pretty, and something I'd recommend to people who don't usually like florals.
