I am so happy and grateful that Tesseljoan shared her bottle with me, It was long on my wishlist but was discontinued before I could order... What a unique scent, soft vanilla, without the sensation of being foody. Perfect sweet for Spring/Summer. It reminds me a tiny bit of a scent by Cerruti that I used to wear before BPAL.This will be my special scent for this Summer

I got this in a swap from the lovely Gingersnapp I did not care much for rose scents before i discovered BPAL and even then, i really didn't know how a rose was supposed to smell Now my nose is more educated and slowly i am beginning to love Beth's Rose Blends. Zombi, Old London, Rose Red and Spellbound all so very different. And then I got Rose Cross.... And it's almost unbelievable but again sooo different than all the above mentioned blends. This is a huge red rose combined with something sweeter underneath and at the same time it's crisp and fresh. I can see myself wearing this to Church. Makes me feel very feminin and a bit ... scacred,innocent, virgin(No i am not ) The opposite of a seductive scent, very beautiful. It's how i picture a young Mother Theresa would smell. It's not an old lady scent btw. ETA: Did not wear it for a while and therefor had a kind of renewed contact with Rose Cross today. OMG how I love this scent, It is soo Juicy and sweet, without being soapy or powdery. I think I have to update my top10....

Me too adding a vote for Haunted, I dislike Shalimar because i used to wear it to much. For that same reason I don't like Haunted. But Vixen and Ravenous are close calls but not THAT close cause I can still wear them

lemon, lavender and herbs. I ordered a 5ml unsniffed I really like the Somnium blends!I use them now every night and regarding the scent I think Nanshe I like the most. But like with the Voodoo blends i do not really judge these by their scent Nanshe is my weekend scent, when I can sleep longer in the morning. I have the feeling i dream more clearly but i am not ready into analyzing dreams. But when i feel like ready for that sort of things, these blends i will work with!

Not reviewed yet? hmmmm, and it's one of my fav's I was crying over the discontinued Indonesian red patchouli, when Malediction came on my path To me it's almost the single note but with a bit of extra. Very warm, comforting, uplifting. Great to wear on rain/storm days. it has a great lasting power too, and lovely to scent your hair.

Dano o shee is very unexpected longlasting! it's soft and does not waft at all but a tiny dab in my elbow last over 24 hours.

Gingerbread and Sudha Segara, to me Sudha is the summer version of Gingerbread. They are also good to wear together to amp the ginger in both

To me blends with Juniper do the trick, for example Burial and Omen(yes I AM promoting Omen today, my mission ) Jabberwocky is indeed nice(and not longlasting) Cathode is high on mint and eucalyptus, and you might want to order Tuzschla (6 mints) Other suggestions: Catherine Hemlock Envy(although it has lavender in it) Aunti Caroline(to wake and be cheerfull at once) Ultraviolet Wolfsbane

OMG! This is the scent i want when i need to feel strong and a bit masculin. It's like a cave to hide in, makes me feel so protected. The scent is foresty/herbal. Probably the Cedar, and sage. There is a bit similarity with Black Forest. Great scent to wear in spring and summer, and while picknicking or camping outside.

I got a decant from the lovely Mizz cindy from the Lush forum. To me, Hearth is a daughter of Jack and Shamhain, and a cousin of black Pearl and Perversion, and Sugar skull is the grandfather. A deep, complex, sweet scent. There is so much more notes than in the description mentioned, for example in the drydown there is apple, dry red apple and apple cider. And there might as well be a slight bit of Pumpkin, and a hint of cinnamon and, and, and... After an hour the leather had a prominent role but backed off and did't come back. Hearth is a unique experience and yet, so known but I am glad I did't buy a 5 ml because it's something to enjoy only once in a while. The Imp will last long enough for me. Also, the BF gets a bad reaction from this, like he has to Jack

I had the change to try Hearth and it reminds me a lot of Jack in the drydown phase. And the BF started sneezing like he does with Jack so at least there is a common note somewhere. Hemlock reminded me a bit of Skadi but only when wet,

Those who know me know I detest aquatics... But this Water of Notre dame is not overly aquatic so i decided to give it a try. Soooo good, peaceful, comforting and general pleasant smelling!!! The best thing? It's longlasting and strong and in the evening it mellows to a soft powdery scent that even the BF likes I will need a 5ml for spring/summer ETA: Without going in details : it worked some miracles, especiallly on paperwork etc. Whatever/whoever spirit that helps me, i am so gratefull

Black Pearl might go well, it gives me the ultimate beach/pool feeling

Envy and Rehab shampoo go well together, only Rehab is not such a lasting scent

You might like Tarot: The world Very complex and there is a hint of someting gourmand, like a bit chocolate/cinnamon.

Not much to add on the scent, i liked it but... I felt a weird saddness all day wearing this. To be sure it was not induced by monthly hormonal overdoses, i used it in another time of the month and it happend again. I didn't like the feeling so, will probably not wear it again, i can do with a mood enhancer now *runs off to dabb Aunti carolines joy Mojo*

Follow me Boy and Sacred whore of Babylon are quite similar, FMB is bit sweeter and lighter, and has that "voodoo" feeling to it.

I haven't used this yet on it's own for a day(what I usually do with all scents) but only sniffed it from the vial and a bit on my hand. I get only citrus, no pine, It's very soft after the drydown. I was hoping for pine as I adore Pine, so I hope that with the final realease there is a bit more Will update as it has its proper change to proof itself in a days wear ETA Well, today is a great day for this scent, It's snowing like it hasn't been in 20 years, first i was planning Skadi but that's to Christmassy. I needed something snowy,yet springtime captured beneath. That's exactly what VSR is. The only thing is... IT"S SO LIGHT I put a complete imp all over me and i still can't catch a whif. I am afraid this is not ment for me, I love the scent anyway

stating the obvious but...Snowcake&smitten&dana O shee= The combo is absolutely fabulous, they smell exactly alike!! In addad a few drops of dana in the Smitten cream to make the scent a bit more lasting, and use it of course as a bodycream as well

Good question! To me a scent with a lot of berries is red, like bordello and lady mc Beth.

Yummie I like this scent, it's fresh and a bit fruity, great for the winter but I see myself wearing this in summer a well because it's light. It is a tiny bit cloying but not something to be disturbed about On my skin It doesn't change at all, unlike most BPAL. It has also an amazing lasting power!! I was wearing a jacket about a month ago while wearing Snow White, when putting the jacket on today i stood in a cloud of Snow White again(therefor reminded about that i have snow white and therefor wearing it again today

I start to like Follow me boy more and more, it's very sexy and seems to have some Voodoo properties as well
