In the imp: Woo! Sweet! Coconut goodness with sweet rum. The tobacco note lingers in the background. First on: OMG. I love this! And I think tobacco must love me. Either that or the rum. Coconut is always good, but the last few oils I've tried (including my CTII) with either of these have just been off the charts! After three hours: Still wonderful. I can not.stop.sniffing my arm. Big, BIG BOTTLE. I just want to drown myself, my house, my car... ETA: 20-odd hours later and I can still get a faint whiff of sweet coconut if I sniff directly. I have never had any scent last that long.

Ordered for name alone... In the bottle: Uh. Not me. Chocolate has not been favorable in the past, and unfortunately, I don't think this is going to be a hit either. Tea has been hit or miss. On me: Still "Uh". After 30 minutes: A little better. The fruit is more noticable and the chocolate is way, way in the background, but the tea just blows it all for me. After 2 hours: A miss. I can see how some people are going to just love this though. Off to elsewhere it goes.

Bottle dos: CHAOS THEORY CCXXX: In the bottle, MINE MINE MINE. ALL MINE. This is going nowhere. I can already tell. It's all spicey and incensey, (sandalwood maybe?) but not in an overdone way. And after you take it away from the nose there's a little after-whiff of something vaguely rootbeer-y... sassafrass? It's not strong, but I noticed it once the bottle was away. First 30 minutes there is something faintly musty and offputting (for me, my coworker -and Snow White wearer- didn't notice it) but after that I smell like Pier 1. And I mean that in the nicest possible way. Very exotic. Very Six hours on, it has faded more than I hoped, but it is even more gorgeous when you move in for a sniff. There is another component here that I'm not getting yet. It's slightly sweet and not sassafrass. And it's driving me mad... and I likes it. ETA: Tobacco! It smelled almost exactly like the vanilla infused cigar my boss recieved free in one of his orders. Delicious. ETA2: On today's run, notes of cinnamon and coconut were also considered. Like I said...

I am not very good at picking out notes, but here's a try: CHAOS THEORY CCVI: In the bottle it is hot buttered flowers, and something else that is slightly sweet. Maybe it's a sweet flower, not sure. Not a good sign as I'm not really one for floral, but I'm not picking up any rose which is a point in its favor. On, this is way floral. Way too floral for me. And no butter, but that note hasn't really stuck around on me in the past either. After two hours, still floral. After six, it brings to mind someone just stepped out of the shower after using a floral soap. Nice and clean, but still a little too flowery for me. I will give this another try, but I do think this will be finding a home elsewhere.

I've really hesitated to do reviews as I do not seem to do well with picking out notes, but here goes: In the imp: mainly resin/incense, with a little musk, and perhaps a little fruit. On me: Unfortunately, I don't get any fruit. It is all resin. Further along, its almost entirely incense-y. While I like incense, I don't like it on my skin. This will be moved along.

In the imp: floral, but not as sweet as I remember. On me: I like this well enough, floral but powdery. I wish it were even more powder. Nice, but I think I prefer it in a blend rather than a SN.

In the imp: Freshly split coconut, milk and all. On me: Love. It did not get fake-smelling or plastic-y. After about 6 hours, it was still evident, though much creamier than upon application. Very nice alone, but I will wind up using my imp to layer with other scents.

My absolute favorite of the SN I have tried. Just gorgeous on its own, but wonderful layered too. Spicy. And I LOVE it.

In the imp: soft floral. On me: I always thought that I was, in no way, a floral person. At least not overt florals. But this one is beautiful. Very soft and a little powdery. And I like powdery. Surprisingly, I like this.

In the imp: honey drizzled over soft flowers. On me: Not good at all. I can't describe exactly what it does, but now maybe I know why scents like O and Dana O'Shee did not work on me at all.

In the imp: perfect pear. Juicy and not overripe. On me: stays exactly the same from start to finish, which was about 6 hours later. I picked up a number of SN before they went sayonara, and this is in my top 5.
