    Ninon

Ninon is lovely. She, appropriately, smells like expensive French perfume to me. The seamlessness of the blend reminds me of OLLA Eve;each note blending with the others. Initially on my skin she is lavender and hay, not something I find too extraordinary, but about fifteen minutes after application the warm notes suddenly blossom. Ninon dries down to a sensual glowing scent. Another reviewer stated that Ninon is a close to the skin perfume, and I agree. .I keep huffing my wrists like crazy! Big winner for me. Edit*This has become one of my very favorites. I wear Ninon when I want to feel powerful yet sexy. Complex but accessible. So much love! Edit**Ninon has been my favorite perfume for about two years now.

    Avunculus

Orange blossom honey. Pretty but very simple. Where is my coconut and amber? This stays pretty one note on me. Hopefully it will deepen with age.

    Brimstone

On wet this smells to me like a campfire extinguished by rain. There is a gritty ash feel but also a damp earth scent. As this dries down it smells more like a charred sweet wood. Warmer and less dirt smelling. Not one i would reach for often but very, very intriguing.

    Black Silk

From my wee tester... Black Silk is sleek, black and deep. I agree with the 'chewy' adjective. What this scent most reminds me of is chewing on a piece of high quality black liquorice. All of the scent notes blend pretty well. The most prominant To my nose is a smoky Patchouli. This is a lovely, seductive, smoky blend. This one will age VERY well.

    Banshee Beat

I was gifted a decant of this. I'm in agreement with the above reviews that say there is something sour or bitter in this. Fro, the above comments i guess its the hemp. The vanilla is lovely and the patch woody and pretty but that bitter note makes this a no go. Which doesnt upset me as i really didnt need another unicorn. :-) Edit- I've been getting more and more into patchouli scents and now Banshee Beat smells really good. A dear friend gave me a mini bottle for Christmas. I also have a full bottle of Revenant Rhythm hair gloss on its way.

    Qandisa

Frimp from the lab. On my skin it is honey swirled around thedarkest musk with a wash of exotic spice over the top. Warm and sexy. Thank you labbies for knowing just what would appeal to me!

    Avenger

In the bottle this was a sharp sour floral. On Wet the pepper, the pikaki and tuberose come out and kick you in the nose. Dry down, this is a spicy floral with something warm and sweet (amber? Vanilla?)tying the whole scent together. This is like exotic flowers in a garden next to a spice bazaar under a warm tropical sun. Not something I'd usually wear but glad i got the bottle for when i feel like being exotic, feminine and dangerous.

    In Templum Dei

Most gorgeous frankincense blend ive tried. This is exactly like the frankincense/ copal resin blend i like to use as incense. Long lasting and holy. Purely divine. *Edit...this smells like a scented Christmas card my family received when i was little. I loved that card! It was about the three wise men and their gifts.

    Imp

The patchouli and peach combo does not play nicely on me. All i get is non-neutered tom cat pee. :-\ Off to the swaps with thee!

    Wooden Bullet

This is all about wood. It has a bit of a high pitched note that fades quickly. Im thinking thats the brass note. Then it settles to a soft woody note, like sandalwood only not as soapy. The wood note is layered...blonde wood and brown wood. As it seeps further and further into my skin it gets warm and sweet. Im not a big woods fan but this is truly decadent.

    Dorian Hair Gloss

I havent tried Dorian perfume yet due to the lab being out of stock so i decided to take a chance and get the hair gloss in a swap. Now I NEED the perfume!! This scent is amazing. As a hairgloss it keeps wafting around me. And the gloss is so lovely on my fine, curly, short bleached hair. To me this smells like a lighter version of Black Lace. Everything I loved about Black Lace and none of the things I disliked. So much win!!

    Hesiod's Phoenix

OMG! THIS iz the amber scent Ive been searching for! My wee decant wont last me long . I need a big bottle of this. Managed to score half a bottle. I will treasure this one. So beautiful and snuggly.

    Imaginer

On Wet this is OMG PEPPER! With a backdrop of honey. As it dries down the pepper recedes to leave a honeyresin sweetness. Its a very spicy resin. Still not sure if this is a keeper. The peppery spice May not work for me in the long run. We'll see. *8/2016 This has become a favorite. I've gotten much more into patchouli in the past couple of years.

    Eve

As others have already mentioned this scent smells expensive. The way every note is blended together is amazing. The stand out note for me is the frankincense. It anchors the other notes for me and is truly lovely.

    (Not So) Penitent (Mini) Magdalene

This the scent of the most amazing vanilla/spice/incense candle ever! Its what you are trying to find when you go to a high end candle store and sniff all of their vanilla candles only to leave empty handed. This is the smell of church and cookies. Every note mingles together into sheer bliss. Order multiples folks. This will only get better. I foresee many people trying to get this one in the future. Need to get another bottle of this stat! Still loving this. Ordered a backup bottle. :-D

    Mabon 2010

On me this is berry wine, ivy and camomile with Something dry and dusty (sage and myrrh? )in the background. Very much a fall scent. I neither love nor hate it. But it works for they day it was made for.

    Luna Sanguinem

I have to agree with the person who described this as canned ham. It went smoked ham on me as well. It was an immediate scrub off.

    Funnel of Love

Very deep patchouli. Woody and peppery with leather blending everything together. Doesnt change much on the dry down except to get softer.

    The Diamond’s Gong

To me this smells like Streets of Detroit without the depth and grittiness of the musk and myrrh. I love nag champa but I love SoD more than this.

    Incantation

Wow! A vetiver scent that works on me! My main impression is of an overgrown forest With ivy and moss everywhere. Occasional shafts of sunlight Pierce through shadows. This smells very clean, foresty and masculine. I wish i had a guyfriend to slather this on. However i am not adverse to wearing masculine scents from time to time.

    Streets of Detroit

In the bottle this smells like a fresh stick of nag champa incense with something a little gritty and dirty underneath. Wet on skin this smells a bit like the heavy musk thats in Smut with the myrrh giving it a bit of a bite. The nag champa/motor oil gets overpowered. Dry on skin the musk lightens up, the myrrh mellows and the nag champa comes out again and blends beautifully with the musk. Have gotten a few compliments on this one. Definitly a keeper. 5 out of 5 stars!! I now have two backup bottles and am halfway through my first bottle. This is truly a fantastic scent!

    Snow, Glass, Apples

Got SGA yesterday....on me it is Granny Smith apples over Chaste Moon. Gradually the apple scent fades until the chill, powdery scent of Chaste Moon remains. Yum!

    Et Lux Fuit

This is THE summer scent for me! I'm an "amber" girl....almost all amber blends adore my skin (with the exception of The Lion which vanishes.....go figure!) And I also love carnation, ylang ylang, honey and neroli. I finally found a bottle of this at a really decent price (had been longing for it for several months now) and have been wearing it non-stop for about 5 days since I've received it in the mail. My bpal loving best friend commented on the throw and loveliness of it this weekend. Starts out with a heavy lemony-citrus bite (neroli)...which mellows quickly into a soft golden (the amber/honey) , yet spicy floral (carnation)/amber-resin warmth. In a way it reminds me of La Fee Verte which also starts out with a citrusy kick and then mellows. I like Et Lux Fuit more than La Fee Verte though.....Lovely, lovely warm, golden summer scent!

    The Ides of March 2005

I figured someone should review this on the day it was made for! LOL! This is the 2007 version. In the bottle this is sharp lemon peel, bergamot and rosemary. Very, very bright! A few minutes on my skin and the amber amps...YAY! (love amber) but it just softens the bright green top notes. I love bergamot and this combined with the rosemary and lemon (plus a hint of the florals.....iris....nummy!) is the main "green/citrusy-sharp" scent. This is a lovely spring blend! The amber is "caught" by the strong top notes and never goes to baby powder on me. It is strong with amazing throw....no end in sight! I'll have to make sure this is in heavy rotation in my "spring" collection!
