In Bottle: Sweet, earthy coconut. I also think I'm getting hint of the vetiver. Not sure what black currant smells like, but I hear it's a tangy berry scent and I think I smell some of it in the background. Wet: A bit sweeter and warmer on the skin. The vanilla amber becomes more prominent. Dry: Coconut mainly, but the vanilla amber, oud, and vetiver are also prominent. The peach, orchid, and currant stay pretty subtle. Overall, it's quite a sexy scent. Somebody told me while I was wearing it that it had a bit of a sunscreen quality. I think that comes form the coconut. It's tropical and earthy. Has a mysterious quality to it. One of my favourtie going out perfumes, especially during summer.

In Bottle: Clean, grassy, with a slight hint of a tart berry scent. Wet: A very natural scent, like hiking through a mountain pass while surrounded by dry grasses and eating blackberries. Dry: LOVE this scent. It smells exactly like the scent list. Softly sweet, grassy, with a hint of a tart berry. It makes for a great everyday scent, especially when I'm stuck inside all day studying. It brings a sense of fresh air and nature to hours spent under fluorescent lights, but the skin musk keeps the scent grounded and adds some warmth. I think it really capture Coraline's adventuring spirit. Totally reminds me of all my camping and hiking trips when I was a kid. It has quickly become my most worn scent.

In Bottle: Sweet and herbal-y. Wet: Pretty medicinal. I smell the cistus and chamomile pretty strongly. The sweetness must come from the honey, but it's not my favourite version of a honey scent. Dry: A bit like a herbal tea. I smell the chamomile and the nicotiana even stronger as it dries. If I apply it lightly, it makes for a good night time scent. If I apply too much of it though, it makes me feel a bit sickly and woozy, which I think comes from the nicotiana. Overall, it's not my favourite.

I was hoping for a dusty, woody scent with hints of coffee. I rarely drink coffee (love the scent, not so much the taste), so I don't know the differences between the types of coffees, but Irish coffee must be a lot sweeter than traditional coffee. The scent is VERY sugary in my opinion, so much so that it makes me feel a bit sick. I don;t like vanilla-y sugar scents and that is what I'm getting from this. Far too sweet to wear on it's own, but it does pretty well when paired with Cafe Mille Et Une Nuits, which is a heavily spiced coffee scent. They balance each other out. I only get hints of the dusty tomes and nothing from the polished oakwood halls.

Priala, The Human Phoenix (2016)

Quite a bit more cinnamon than I was expecting. Also, it caused some irritation when I applied it to my skin which I think was from the cinnamon. However, it went away after about 15 minutes. As it dries down, the cinnamon fades and takes the back seat allowing the myrrh and smoke. The myrrh and smoke with just a hint of cinnamon makes for a great, spicy autumnal fragrance. I really like it, but when it's wet I find the cinnamon too strong for my tastes. It wears really close to the skin when it dries down though.
