Przeczucie in a bottle, but replace the smoke with a sweet snow note. Very chilly and evocative of a planted pine stand laden with snow. And much like Przeczucie this has minimal throw but lingers forever. I'll be reaching for it a lot when the weather begins to warm up.

I love this. Soft leather oozing with beeswax; similar to Light of Men's Lives but darker and more masculine leaning. Hints of oak and rose once it dries. Not entirely sure what a 'pulsating throb of ectoplasm' smells like but I'm willing to roll with it; the scent as a whole reminds me of The Exorcist 1973.

So much rye! With a smattering of hay and chilly, well-weathered metal behind it. Very evocative of its name - I'll definitely be using it to bring the gloomy days of fall and early winter inside. Lots of throw and staying power with this one.

The wet phase is vetiver bordering on cigarette smoke. Not that great. (Or maybe my skin is amping it? Who knows.) It's much nicer when dry. Fluffy grave moss, charred woods and a chunk of dark earth. Definitely lives up to its name; almost like an old coffin raised from the earth and burned, but without warmth behind it.

This is a slap of mahogany when wet, but quickly settles down to play nicely with the myrrh. It sticks close to the skin but lasts for a good while. I'd definitely bet on it getting stronger and better with age!

This is fantastic. Blue musk and white pine are up front with eucalyptus backing. I don't get any opoponax, unfortunately. It's strong upon application but mellows quickly and stays forever. Overall; it's Spectre Blue's twin, with pine.

Briny lavender and some very dark musks! I occasionally get the strange, sweet waft of benzoin when dry. Acacia is there when this is wet but becomes less apparent once dry unless I'm really looking for it. This comes off as vaguely piratey and I love it. It's like a dark, stormy night on a ship with herbal goods aboard. Almost six months later this is a very spicy red musk blend. Still very dark, although the lavender and benzoin are almost undetectable now. The acacia is much more forward now. Still a great 'piratey' scent overall but it's much more masculine.

In the imp, this is a very strong citrus with lavender. Wet, it's lemon-citrus and lavender with a herbal undertone. There's the faintest hint of jasmine, which is usually a death note on me. Somewhat headache inducing but I decided to power through it instead of washing it off. When dry, lemon is still the primary note. Lavender and the other herbs are still there. Jasmine is mostly gone other than the faintest whiff every so often - and it smells like real jasmine, not cat pee. Thank goodness. I'm not getting a whole lot of orange blossom unless that's part of the lemony-citrus smell. This oil definitely smells like a sharp, herbal soap, but it's nicer than I was expecting. Medium throw but doesn't last very long. I'll enjoy my imp over the summer but won't be getting a bottle in case the jasmine gets stronger with age.

In the decant this smells sharp, green and faintly aquatic. The wet stage is still sharp and green, but the aquatic smell is gone. Ivy and moss are the main players. There's some rose lingering in the background. Dry, this is awesome. The primary note is rose, but it's not out of control. The ivy is still there but the moss has been replaced by the black musk. This scent definitely lives up to its name. It's like visiting an old grave in early winter, complete with the dying greenery. The wear length and throw are also above average.

2016 version! In the decant: A forest composed entirely of old pine trees. Wet: This has more to offer than pines. Something herbal is coming around, while the pines become lighter and sweeter. No musk yet. Dry: A sweet, but dark, forest. There's a light herbal note and the faintest trace of musk. I'm reminded of Burial, but lighter and without the florals. This is a very nice unisex scent, and I may have to get a bottle.

In the decant, this is nothing but coffee. Good coffee, but just coffee. Wet is still mostly coffee. But now it's creamier, with hints of vanilla here and there. No sign of caramel or coffee beans. Once it's dry the coffee is very creamy, and the caramel has become fairly prominent. Vanilla is still there, but it's faint. Still no coffee beans. It's a very sweet and warm smell - it makes me think of drinking Starbucks in the fall. The throw and staying power are average.
