Wow! Dark pine out of the bottle, and I get the junniper and cypress. The musk comes in later. Later as in an hour or so and then takes over, but surprisingly not in a bad way! Cologne maybe. Received this imp yesterday and put in on for a night out at the premier of one of the strangest things I ever worked on. A mean show, that featured loud talk show hosts, little people, strippers, transgender dancers, cackelers, accordians, and angry seniors. The reason I mention this is because The Black Forrest was absolutly the right thing to be wearing for this night! It kept me cool and dark, and out of the way, but not invisible either. I am liking this, but will have to put it away for now and give it a try some other time. smiles

Smokey but too much so. Then comes the scent of euculyptus or junniper? Not sure which , and then something sweet, but not too sweet. It seems to work very well on me but I had to wear this one for several days to be sure. Now I am sure and will order a bottle of this today. In my search to find several signature scents, someone reccomended that I search by the names, and that the names themselves were perfect descriptions of the oils. So far that has been true, as in this case. The first time I heard of the Djinn was on I Dream Of Jeannie, a long, long time ago and it stuck in my imagination all these years. This would be the scent of the Djinn! cheers!

Tried this on in the morning and ordered it that afternoon. Whatever it is about this, it really works for me. It's not exactly the leather either, but somthing else with it. Lasted all day and pretty much didn't change. Maybe mellowed a little bit, but just enough. Shoud probably have orderd several bottles just in case it isn't around for very long!

Ok, so this is the one I ended up ordering after sampling from my first six imps. I thought the apricot might be too strong at first and then it took a u-turn and stayed in the back. There is something about this one that keeps the world at bay and still let's me in. I just ordered another set of imps to try. Some of the flower notes in the first batch last too long and are too powerful for me. I am looking for more of a masculine scent, something earthy, and smokey maybe without sweetness. My next order shoud prove interesting kope

Wearing this one today. Started out deep and earthy like I was hoping for but as the day goes on, it turns a little too sweet and rosey for me. I am finding that with me, the flower notes in my oils are ending up too strong after a time. Still, this one is very interesting, and I will try it another day and see what happens........ cheers! UPDATE: Really liking this........something like fresh tilled earth, sweet dampness but not too sweet. Leaves me feeling somewhat calm and aware. hmmmmm......might have to order this!

Surprisingly this is wearing very well. At first it seemed that it would be a little too light and sweet for me, but the sandlewood and cedar come though in the end. I am still looking for something darker and earthier, but this scent will be good for days when I am thinking of bright, exotic, and unwesternized places that I need to see someday.

Really liked this one at first. The patchouli was strong with a hint of the cinnimon and something else. What keeps happening with this one, and the other new oils I have been trying is, they start out dark and earthy like I enjoy, and then after a few hours I turn into a garden of flowers!!! Still, this one is worth another try. In about a week or so, I will put in another order of imps, and look for some darker things. cheers!
