Favorites: Al-Azif, Midnight Kiss, Love's Philosophy, Street Festival, Ragged Wood, Coyote, Fleurette's Purple Snails, Glowing Vulva, Jacob's Ladder, Et Lux Fuit, Judgement, Tombstone, Fenris Wolf, Lady of Shalott, Privilege, Quincy Morris (which is to DIE for on me!), Western Diamondback (wow, reminds me of a snakey Quincy Morris), Madame Moriarty, Sunrise with Sea Monsters, Dragon Moon 2006, Fire Pig, Faith, Hope, Dream of the Fisherman's Wife, Ides of March.
Best notes on me: red musk, vetiver, vanilla, woods and resins
Disaster notes: gardenia, patchouli (though some of Beth's patchouli notes work!), BPAL apple and lavender
Commercial perfume favorites:
Christian Aujard (long discontinued - interesting rue-like base note, not your standard commercial perfume) - I have a hoarded stash
Innis - Irish perfume evoking islands by the sea (a couple BPAL blends remind me of it)
Vanilla Musk by Max Factor - 1970's Era - a whit still remains carefully hoarded for "weddings and funerals."
Cabochard by Gres - very masculine and woody
Pheremone by Marilyn Miglin - One of the few florals that works on me. I swear they've recently reformulated this, though, because the more recent stuff just doesn't smell like my older bottles.

Historical reenacting, historical cookery (and cooking in general!), wine, historical artillery, ethnobotany, vintage clothing, bladed weapons, unconventional women's roles. I'm also a kimono expert who's obsessive about them. Hmm, come to think of it, I'm obsessive about history, too. ("History is a Religion!") Assist a lot at Landmark Education, as I like their tools to make your life everything you want it to be, and transforming the world into a place of peace and potential. And giving me the courage to find my amazing husband and soulmate. (I love you, Andrew Crockett!)
