    Dee

This is a total game changer for me. It made me not care if a scent is masculine, if I like it I can where it? Plus it introduced me to the scent of leather and parchment in perfumery! It's complex and wonderful! I will be purchasing a bottle with my next order & I want to venture further into the realm of scents I wouldn't normally associate with perfumes! I also want to learn more about Tonka, not to mention John Dee!

    Port-Au-Prince

This one threw me for an amazing curve. In the vial I smelled almond, yet as soon as I put it on it morphed into bay rum and spicy cloves. I can actually feel the heat of the clove on my skin, in a very neat way. It was so amazing that I re-applied it several times during the day, just to experience that whole morphing thing over and over.

Milk, honey, grains...yes, oh, yes! As soon as I opened the imp, I knew I'd be ordering a bottle! It lasts a long time on me and I love it! I had breakfast on Grafton Street in Dublin. I ate Irish porridge and it was so delicious and comforting. This smell brings back that awesome memory of that morning.

    Snake Oil

I ordered a bottle & it smelt oddly familiar. During the first year, I applied it a few times and whatever it was reminding me of was not a good memory, so it sat and sat. I came back to it 2 or 3 years later and either I worked out whatever it reminded of or it morphed because I fell in love with it. It is definitely thicker and darker from when I first purchased it. The men in my life smell something sweet when I where. My teenage son will ask "what smells so good", then he gets embarrassed when he finds out it's mom. It makes him want baked goods, like cookies. I don't smell the sweetness my son and hubby do. I wonder what Indonesian oils make this up, because as I find scents I like, I review the ingredients and then look to find other scents with similar notes. I think I need to purchase a spare to start it aging while I gobble this one up.

    Bastet

I received an imp and immediately purchased a bottle. I thought musks didn't work on me prior to finding BPAL I used to think musks were wild animal urine and sweaty feral pheromones . I've learned/am learning so much about what is appealing to my palette & works with my chemistry. The Egyptian musk is beuautiful! It doesn't smell like cat spray at all. The almond is seductive; with the saffron and cardamom it's mouthwatering. In the past I shied away from florals, but the golden lotus does not amp or overpower. If I didn't read it was in there, I'd be blissfully naive. I worship my kitties and the cat Queen Bastet!

    Bordello

The perfect sweet scent with booze. It makes me want to be a tad naughty. I bought a bottle. While wet the sweet is intense, it tones down to perfection and lasts quite a long time. I'm surprised to find that plum works with my chemistry.

    Tamora

Thus far this is my most favorite. I've gone through a couple bottles. It does have kind of a Play-Doh kind of thing going on. It lasts a very long time. I didn't think I liked sweet scented perfume until I smelled this. Now I'm not as timid about trying scents with fruits or vanilla. I've loved Amber for a while now. I've been asked several times about why I smell so good when I have this on. It's kind of like a security blanket/comfort food all rolled up in one.

    Blood Kiss

In the vial - I smell wood notes Wet on me - More wood that tickles my nose & then spicy cloves Drying - a whiff of cherry that fades quickly, then musky powdery skin It lasts a few hours. I'll try again another time perhaps with some jojoba to seal the scent longer
