I am in love! a ) I have always been enraptured by jezebel the woman and b ) this smells SO good on me. In the bottle this smells like pure honey, and once it's on it stays pretty true to that. The roses here are very sweet and honey is marvelously dripping and creamy sweet. This is a very heady scent and makes me understand how bees get drunk off of honey. This makes me almost woozy. This isn't sweet like candy, but a rich sweet like pastries glazed with honey. This lasted me hours and I was getting definite wafts of it throughout the day. It made me feel gorgous and strong., not to mention like I was covered with orange honey and roses. It reminds of the inscence used in some churches actually. (maybe the sandalwood?) Thank you a million times whoever swapped me this. On the big bottle list for sure!

My first reaction to this was actually very positive, the coffee reminded me of my grandparent's house. I liked this one at first, but the whiffs I'd get during the day were just too bitter for me. I was hoping for a warmer coffee shop kind of smell, but even once the coffee smells fades the rose is just too bitter for me. sad. because I've always loved mata hari! oh well, at least my other favorite people smell good.

smells yummy first one, all the spices, notably cinnamon come out. Reminds me a bit of a candle scent. I really like this one at first, however the cinammon is a bit too fiery for me and I don't really like the whiffs I get off it through out the day. Some scents make me feel really crisp and clean, this one sadly made me feel sort of dirty and icky. I think I'll try this one as a room scent instead.

Created to invoke the ancient Greek deities of dreams. On the shores of the ocean, somewhere in the West, they dwell behind their gates of horn and ivory. Soporific, dark and unfathomable: a somnambular blend of deep lavender, white sandalwood, jasmine, bergamot and mugwort. Put this on before bed last night a bit worried I would hate it and not be able to sleep, but this was great! Floral and light woods, nothing i could quite put my finger on but I think I could pinpoint some lavander and jasmine. It blended together very nicely and I would love to have this in a sleep pillow. Once I have some extra cash I'd like to get a bottle of this cause it was very light and relaxing.

this one is very light and smells sort of vanillaish with some sweet citrus and some tropicalness that I really can't put my finger on. It reminds me a little bit of a lighter snake oil with a tropical note. staying power is so so and dissapeared after about 6 or so hours on me. over all this is a really nice scent.

this one changed alot on me. In the bottle and first on my skin it smelled like delicious almonds and mint, which quickly (very quickly) faded to a strong lemon verbena. Not in a bad way, but definitly strong. About an hour later there is no trace of almonds and the verbena is pretty much gone, what I'm left with is a hint of mint and a pile of thyme. Wheew. I smell like I was cooking and spilled thyme everywhere. If this had stayed almond mint I'd have loved it, but thyme I just can't do. saddly, in the swap pile.

very sweet out of the bottle. Smells like candy once I put it on. Starbursts maybe? I rather like this, definitly the sweetest scent I've tried so far. An hour later it smells like strawberry soap, almost exactly like the soap I'm using now from the bodyshop. I dunno, I like this one quite a bit, but it's a bit too sweet for me in the end.

bleh. This one smells like kerosine on me. Smells like a room where all the lights were just blown out, with a little bit of sweetness. Definitly can see the darkness, but this does not smell good on me. I haven't tried anything with these notes before so I honestly can't even begin to guess what it is that isn't working on me

This is amazingly great! I was wondering if I would end up swapping this, but no way! I love this, it's just sweet enough and reminds me something, although not cherry. I can't really tell what the notes are, except that I'm in love with this.

this one is definitly sinster. Beautiful, but sinister. When I first put it on I get violets like crazy! It smells like the little violet candies I would eat as a kid. An hour or so later it starts smelling musty and aquatic on me. The vanilla and gardenia both come out and make it a very warm smell, although I can't really distinguish any individual notes anymore. to me it smells like a combination between the pirates of the caribbean ride and an old musty book that has pressed violets in it. Odd descriptions I know, but I like it a lot. A bit too much violet at first, but I really like the musty dry down. ooh i forgot to add, everytime I wear this, I keep thinking in my head "You're turning Violet, Violet!!"

First time I tried this I was not impressed. I can't remember why, but it smelled a bit to incency for me. Luckily I tried it again and now I really like it. It smells like a warm wind that has somehow managed to pick up vanilla along the way. It is very much a comforting scent to me as I get all vanilla and musk and no lemon. To me this is a very feminine musk.

sadly, i think it may have been the rose and almond together, this smelled like dryer sheets on me. I didn't get the spices at all.

oh wow! I am in love with this one! I keep taking whiffs of my wrists so deep that my eyes are rolling into the back of my head, haha. From the bottle I wasn't quite sure what i was smelling, but on it smells like xmas, and wine and cinnamon and musk, and I think I can pinpoint leather. This smells like a big feast and reminds of when my family would all get together for xmas dinners. Sadly I'm not sure how long this one is lasting one, but i honestly don't care because this is so lovely. I am certainly gonna buy a big ol' bottle of this! ETA: This superb aged as well. Almost even better. This is my ultimate holiday scent!

I don't know if I put on too much or if dragon's blood is an issue for me, but this gave me a killer headache. I ended up having to wash it off cause my head was refusing to cooperate anymore. so in the swap pile it goes. Sad because this seemed like a lovely, warm and sweet scent.

In the bottle this one smelled very citrucy, almost like lemon merengue pie. When I first put it on smelled again like lemons, but rather sweet and very very green. Sadly, this has morphed into the smell of crushed juniper or possibly pine needles on me. Not that I don't like that smell, but I don't think I personally would like to smell like an xmas wreath. So it seems that more lemony scents don't quite agree with me. This one may end up in the swap pile.

I was a bit worried when I ordered this one as so many people said it was too strong for them. But I'm very glad I ordered as my skin seems quite capable of dealing with heavier scents. My first thought of this one was that it reminded me a bit of sin, which must be the sandalwood and patchouli. However, this smells simpler on me and reminds me more of pirates than a pack of hippies. If I take a deep breath of it I can smell something salty. It smells very peppery and warm, a little bit like a church but not quite. I could see myself wearing this one a cold night to keep myself feeling warm.

For starters i love the color of this one. It looks like poison, but very appealing, tasty looking poison. i don't get nyquil at all. On me this smells like very sweet like forests in the spring. But there is a definite bitterness at the same time. It took me a while to pin point it, but it smells exactly, i mean exactly, like the wild strawberries I would pick in the forests in sweden as a kid. I really dig this one, unsure if i would buy a big bottle, but will certainly finish the imp.

that makes sense about the almonds, and would explain why dana o'shee turned doh on me. But honestly, the smell is actually starting to grow on me, doh or no.

I've tried this one twice now. First time it was too strong. I love jasmine, but not on me apparently. I tried it again yesterday and the best was to decribe what it reminded me of would be a bowl of soap and rice. I would say this was due to the fact that it was really hot and humid out that day. Either way I just can't seem to get this one to work with my chemistry.
-
I can't smell the flowers that other people have mentioned, but for some reason my chemistry is bringing out what reminds me of vanilla. A bit strong at first, but tones down nicely. Lasted a good 7 or 8 hours before on me before fading to a slight powdery floral (now I can see where the flowers are). I agree that it is very soft and if I had to pick a color I would either say gold or red. I haven't tried leo yet, but I can imagine it would smell something like this.

This one is definitly very sweet and innocent. It smells very almondy in the bottle, and smells almost like modeling clay or playdough on me (both of which are smells I enjoy). Very sweet, but not in a foody way. I could see myself liking this one better as a lotion or hair product than a perfume as it is a little too sweet for me.

let me start off my saying that I really enjoyed Goneril and I could see myself wearing it to work or other formal situation. In the bottle: Very strong floral woodsy smell. Afraid that it will be a little bit too "old" for me. First on: smells very floral but harsh. something in it reminds of that smell that's left on your hands after handling metal objects. I can see how some people get a citrus smell out of it. Few hours on: Starting to really like it now as it has started to tone down a bit. Cedarwood is coming out strong, almost smells like an antique wooden cabinet that's been stuffed full of flowers. I'd say the geranium is strongest of the florals Smells very elegant to me, almost like a traditional floral perfume, but the cedar gives it a definite edge. Seems to work very well with my chemistry as it seems a very natural scent on me, nothing jarring or obnoxious. 5 hours later: Almost gone now, so I'm going to reapply. Faint smell of powdery flowers with a dash of cedar. I really, really liked this one and I could see myself getting a 5ml for work type events.

First impression: Reminds me of my grandmother's decades old bottles of perfume with just a little, really strong perfume at the bottom. Hints of sandalwood, but almost smells like flowers in the bottle. 1st hour on: wow, this is really sandalwoody. Very strong right now. smells like the insence I usually burn. A very slight undertone that reminds me almost of sweat. Maybe the patchouli? Overall pleasant but a little too strong for me still. Very much of a warm scent. Few hours on: Oddly it is starting to take on a dry and sweet on me now. The cinnamon is starting to come out and it reminds me of cinnamon hot chocolate. I asked my seven year old brother what it smelled like and after grumbling for a bit he said.. "uummn, powder?" Which is funny because when I read reviews before I didn't quite understand what people meant by that. Enjoying it now. Four hours later: Just a trace left now, curiously it's still rather strong on my right wrist though. Smells warm and dry. Faint traces of cinnamon and sandalwood, still reminds me of cinnamon hot chocolate. Final Verdict: smells very warm and tasty eventually, but I'm not too keen on whatever element it is that reminds me of musky sweat (patchouli?). will definitly give this one another shot later, but it sort of reminds me of a room scent because I'm so used to sandalwood insence.
