    A Sweet Sleep Hair Gloss

This smells like TKO to me with a very faint touch of pear. Honestly I hardly noticed the pear until I read the notes. If you love TKO or lavender, get this!!! It is a glorious lavender hair gloss Multiple bottle worthy!

    I Too Beneath Your Moon

This scent is quite the morpher! I adore it and I'm surprised I haven't reviewed it yet. I Too Beneath Your Moon and La Tentation were some of my favorites from last year's Luper season. Wet on the skin: Lots of lavender and tart pink apple! Dry down: The patchouli and vanilla cream emerges. They quiet down the apple and lavender. Final dry down: A perfect balance of sweet and calm. The sweetness is grounded and balanced by the soft patchouli note. I amp the patchouli more than the lavender on this one. The luscious vanilla cream peaks out behind the patchouli and lavender. The apple is just whispering behind all the notes to give it that subtle flirty sweetness! I don't get any bergamot (which is good for me because bergamot doesn't work well most of the time on my skin). This scent is perfect for daytime wear as it lasts on the skin awhile. Medium throw. I definitely love this scent for Spring. It is a unique and complimentary combination of notes.

    Pediophobia

In the bottle all I smelled was tobacco and cognac, however on my skin it was totally different! I can definitely see the comparisons to Ava. This is like a more gender neutral version of Ava to me with no fruity element. It smells like an expensive vanilla musk (like Ava). It almost has a slight creamy floral aspect to it, it reminds me a bit of the creamy undertone I got from Cave of Treasures. The more this sits on my skin, the more it smells like a perfumey vanilla cream. Absolutely luscious! I was hesitant to buy this because I am scared of the tobacco note since my boyfriend is highly sensitive to it (not in an allergic way, just in a nausea way). Thankfully the tobacco is not strong to my nose (once it is on my skin). My boyfriend is very sensitive to tobacco notes so I will update my review once I get his input.

    Rainbow Swirl

I don’t get any florals at all in my bottle! In the bottle and on my skin it reminds me of a mix of Resin Cast Meat Skull and Strawberry Sufganiyot. I get the vanilla cream and something reminding me of red jelly or jam. The red velvet cake note reminds me of the Sufganiyot donut note. If you love foody/donut scents, you will love this. I adore this so much and I am so happy to have it!

I Suppose You Are a Princess Hair Gloss

Absolutely gorgeous. I have been wearing this everyday since I got it. This is what I wanted Reflected Vulva to smell like but the cherry blossom overpowers the sweet pea in Reflected Vulva for me. In the bottle: Sugared sweet pea, not too sweet. Smells very much like Spring. No artificial smell. In my hair: Soft, sweet pea. I love it because it is perfect for everyday when I am at work. It is subtle and doesn't have much throw yet it lasts throughout the day. It smells fresh without any bitter or grassy note. Not too floral or like a commercial shampoo. I recommend getting a bottle! It is my go-to everyday hair gloss!

    Reflected Vulva

This scent is very pretty but it fades so fast on my skin! I am getting my sweet pea fix from I Suppose You Are a Princess hair gloss I have not tried Sweet Pea SN, but I recommend trying that hair gloss since Reflected Vulva is hard to find. I am glad to have a decant of Reflected Vulva but I keep telling myself I don't need a bottle The scent sits very, very close to my skin. It is sugared cherry blossom with a hint of vanilla cream and sweet pea. The cherry blossom overpowers the sweet pea more on my skin. After 10 minutes it becomes a sugary skin musk similar to BPAL's Neutral scent from the RPG line.

    Shuttered Asylum Atmosphere Spray

Decades of dust clashing with antiseptic. The mouldering canvas and leather of discarded strait-jackets. Crusts of blood threading between shattered tiles. Wet rubber padding. Electricity-scarred metal gurneys. Crushed pill casings and dribbles of sticky laudanum. This is the most complex atmosphere spray I have ever smelled. The leather in this is very reminiscent of Adam, and the blood note is very reminiscent of Quintessence of Dust. It smells cold and wet without being aquatic, I think there is some eucalyptus in here. When I had first smelled this I thought it was a dupe for Adam, however testing it again I get a very different scent than Adam. The "wet rubber padding" aka eucalyptus and "leather" is what I smell the most, with dust and blood in the background. It is very evocative of a survival horror game. This scent is very unique and spot-on with creating an eerie atmosphere. Would I want my home to smell like this? Probably not. Will I be keeping my decant? Definitely, it is a work of art.

    Bah!

Testing my decant: In the decant: It smells so good! Wonderfully sweet mocha coffee! Wet on the skin: No whiskey smell which is great! I am smelling some french vanilla now actually. It is turning more vanilla latte with a dust of cocoa powder. Dry: Oh no. It smells plastic! All the coffee and mocha is gone! I'm so sad!

    Abandoned Car Atmosphere Spray

This is not my cup of tea. It smells like a meat smoker. I am not a fan of smoke notes at all anymore since I was in the Napa and Santa Rosa fires. The leather note is the same as Burning Book to me. I used to love Burning Book but my scent preferences have changed. I do not get any motor oil from this. I get a lot of a "charred" leather smell. Smoke and leather with a hint of dust and metal.

    Deserted Theater Atmosphere Spray

THIS!!!! THIS!!!!! If you like beeswax, this is perfection! I love The Ghost Story atmosphere spray, but this is a sophisticated, gothic version of it. I instantly think of the scene in Phantom of the Opera when Christine is on the boat and sees all the candelabras in the Phantom's room. I get top notes of beeswax and leather. The leather is soft and sweet like red leather. The tobacco is not noticeable and neither is the oak. I will definitely get a full bottle of this. It is glorious. Romantic, evocative, luxurious, stunning! Definitely a winner.

    Desolate Farmhouse Atmosphere Spray

I am surprised by the other reviews because my impression of this atmosphere spray was very different! This spray smells exactly like a bottle of Nevermore Body Co. aftershave I used to have in the scent "Midnight Mojito". I smell sugarcane, sweet dry hay, and a cooling mint (spearmint). The hay and the mint are the most dominant to me. I love Thrice-Ploughed Field atmosphere spray and this is like a winter version of it! It is nice but not bottle worthy for me. I do wish Thrice-Ploughed Field would return because it was a glorious hay scent.

    Forgotten Churchyard Atmosphere Spray

I get a lot of moss with a background of dirt. Reminds me of spanish moss. It smells like there may be olibanum in this blend as well. I don't get pine which is great for me because pine reminds me of household cleaner. I adore moss (Tomb Moss SN is my favorite bpal moss scent), and I think I may need to upgrade my decant to a bottle. This is a light scent but not too light. It smells like dried moss instead of fresh moss. It is a great "clean" atmosphere spray choice for people who don't enjoy typical clean scents like lemon, pine, or lavender. I definitely recommend this one!

    Long Night Moon 2017

Gorgeous honeysuckle. As it sits longer on my skin, it just becomes more divine. I can see the comparison to June 23, 1868, and it also reminds me of Lullaby. I think it is the moonflower note in Long Night Moon that reminds me of those other two florals. However Long Night Moon has to be my favorite because the honeysuckle is sweet yet soft. The floral perfume doesn't go soapy, sharp, or powdery on me. It is the perfect combination of honeysuckle and moonflower. If you enjoyed Wild Honesuckle SN but want a more "sophisticated" or evening scent, Long Night Moon 2017 is perfection!

    Resin Cast Meat Skull

Nostalgia overload This scent brings back childhood memories. On my skin, it reminds me of Juice Bar body sprays I used to wear as a child. Specifically it smells like a mix of: Blueberry Batter and Gummy Bear! The scent makes me so giddy as it brings back memories of playing with my dollhouse and writing secrets in my butterfly print diary. It is surprisingly not a strong foody scent on me but more like a tween perfume on my skin. Medium throw and good wear length. It is a sweet girly pink musk with a subtle glazed donut background. I feel like I should be wearing watermelon glitter lip gloss and making charm bracelets when I wear this scent. Imagine if Loli.goth and Strawberry Sufganiyot had a little kid sister, that is what Resin Cast Meat Skull smells like on my skin! P.S. Strawberry Sufganiyot smells like a true foody strawberry donut on me and Resin Cast Meat Skull does share that donut element, however Resin Cast Meat Skull has a pink perfumey musk that Strawberry Sufganiyot does not. Don't let the cream cheese not scare you like it did for me because I get no cream cheese!

    Venustas

I adore fougeres, however this scent has a green note that my skin is amping. Maybe it is the "willowy" note that my skin is amping. I don't get any frankincense, myrrh, or vanilla. It is almost like a tea tree fougere on my skin. Interesting, but not what I was hoping for.

    Sticky Eyeballs and Floppy Entrails

What a fun scent! Out of all the candy scents I have tried from bpal, this one is the only one my skin that doesn't turn into something strange. On my skin, it smells like strawberry candy. Very sugary. I don't get any marshmallow or jelly. If you like candy scents, definitely try this! If you like strawberry but are not a foody fan, you probably won't enjoy this. It is very artificial strawberry candy smelling. I appreciate the fun scent but it isn't bottle worthy for me

    Very Pink Surprise Cake

On my skin, it smells like boozy strawberries and vanilla cake. Like someone spilled an alcoholic beverage on a cake. The more it dries, the more I get a yucky buttery undertone. Final dry down smells like butter and booze.

    Lilith's Kwamie Cotton

On my skin, it smells like dragon's blood and dragon's milk to me. There is almost a slight floral undertone that is reminding me of dryer sheets. Maybe wisteria? It smells like Night Scene mixed with dragon's milk. Unfortunately my skin does weird things to dragon's blood and makes it smell super sweet. It was fun to try but not a scent for me.

    Elf v4

I only have a tester of this so maybe that is why it fades fast and has low throw on my skin? Despite that fast fading and low throw (which could just be because of the tiny amount I tested), it is a deliciously beautiful rich vanilla scent. Not foody, not "perfumey", just perfect. I can see why people love this scent so much. This is what I wanted Antique Lace to smell like.

    Snake Oil Jelly Donut

On my skin, I only get the jelly and snake oil. No donut unfortunately! However the jelly is a wonderful raspberry/strawberry jelly. I am not fond of fresh snake oil but I think this snake oil is aged and pretty! I prefer Strawberry Sufganiyot more to satisfy my donut needs, but this is a very fun girly, foody scent!

    Velvet Unicorn

Decant: On my skin, it smells like a mix of a beautiful sugary sweet vanilla and Banana Boat suntan lotion. I love it. Bottle test: I get creamy vanilla meringue with strawberries. The strawberry note in this one reminds me a lot of Loli.goth. I get lots of compliments on this one!

    Impressions of the Floating World

I have been wanting to try this one for awhile. I own many bpal patchouli scents and this one sounded quite unique compared to my other ones. Dry on my skin I get a very woody patchouli scent. It is strange because it is reminding me a lot of a cedar type wood but there is no cedar in the notes listed. I am a bit sad because none of the other notes are showing up for me. All I get is a woody patchouli. The patchouli note is reminiscent to another patchouli scent I have. Impressions of the Floating World it is like a softer version of This is Your Wilderness (without the pine). Overall, I don't think I would hunt down a bottle of this. I will probably keep my decant and test it again in the future to see if I am just having an off-day with my skin chemistry. I was really hoping for that vanilla silk note!

    Cave of Treasures

Usually I steer clear of lilac because I have not had luck with it in the past. But the hype of this scent intrigued me to give it a shot! I was luck to get a decant of this from a swap Dry on my skin it smells like a luxury perfume without the alcoholic-based. The lilac is quite calm on my skin and it is balanced equally among the other notes. I do not distinctly smell the cream accord but maybe it is helping blend everything together! I get a soft floral musk with a sexy hint of honeyed amber. It is very pretty and sophisticated. Maybe even bottle worthy!

    Haloes

I have heard much talk about Haloes being a favorite vanilla bpal by a lot of folks and I was lucky enough to get a bottle of it. I have tried several bpal vanilla blends and I haven't found any that I am in love with. I was told I must try Haloes! Wet: Something is a bit sharp and almost cologne-like. I think it is the oak and sandalwood. The vanilla is not standing out much. Dry (after about 10 minutes): All the sharpness/cologne smell from the wet stage is gone and it has morphed on my skin to a beautiful vanilla scent. No plastic, no "vanilla candle", and no foody vanilla smell. The vanilla is cradled softly by apricot and amber. It is absolutely gorgeous and very sophisticated. The scent stays fairly close to the skin and doesn't have much throw (light to medium depending how much you slather), however the scent is very lovely. I am very happy to have a bottle of it.

    Jiaolong

When I first saw the label art for Jiaolong, I was blown away. Not only is it a gorgeous guy, but he is also an aerialist! I am an aerialist as well (aerial silks, hammock, and lyra), so I knew I had to buy this bottle even before I knew what the notes were. As soon as I read the scent description, it was an insta-buy. I love coffee scents (Café Mille et Une Nuits, Dusky Shroud, Guatemalan Volcanic Coffee Bean SN, etc.) Wet: Dark (but not like a bitter black coffee; dark as in mysterious/complex) coffee with vanilla sugar. This reminds me of Dusky Shroud without the opium petals. There is no vanilla listed but there is definitely something with the sugar cane that is reminding me of gourmand vanilla. Dry: This is absolutely luscious. It isn't foody, it is sophisticated coffee (I got that impression from Dusky Shroud too). However when dry, it isn't as dark/mysterious as Dusky Shroud because there are no opium petals. Yet, I enjoy this more than any other coffee scent I have tried. I seriously cannot stop smelling it! The sugar cane, black musk, and coffee make a brilliant combination. Multiple bottle worthy.
