Non-powdery honeyed/rainy white floral recommendations?
bexabaxa replied to scsmithx's topic in Recommendations
You should try Elf! (Pale golden musk, honeycomb, amber, parma violet, hawthorne bark, aspen leaf, forest lily, life everlasting, white moss, and a hint of wild berry). Based on your likes/dislikes, I think it would suit you well -
Recommendations for Floral Based Wedding Perfume
bexabaxa replied to yowahoshihime's topic in Recommendations
I second the recommendation for Belle Époque! Elf (pale golden musk, honeycomb, amber, parma violet, hawthorne bark, aspen leaf, forest lily, life everlasting, white moss, and a hint of wild berry) is a really lovely blend as well. However, my top recommendation for a soft floral suitable for a wedding would be De Vos' Unicorn. It's a limited edition, but I've seen it listed all over the For Sale part of the forum. It has has a couple notes I'm typically not super fond of, but I still absolutely love this blend. It contains the following: Sugared peony and rose-tinted vanilla with mallow, white musk, lavender buds, and a touch of apricot. It's soft, light, floral, clean, and creamy. Good luck! I wish your sister the best in her marriage. So very kind of you to help -
Black currant bud, crumbly rose, black clove, strawberry seed, and bergamot. I went to dragon*con thinking I would fall utterly in love with Dragon Mlerm. Much to my surprise, Dragon Umbrage swooped in and stole my heart. This being said, I am not a rose fan AT ALL. Fortunately for me, my nose doesn't detect any rose. The currant and strawberry are definitely the strongest notes in here. The clove is also detectable, giving this gloss a very slight spicy kick. Overall, it smells like some of the most delicious fruity candy you could ever imagine. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT. 10/10.

I can see where some people are getting a tropical vibe, but I still think it's a really good Yule scent. This is one that can definitely be worn year-round. It's a spicy-fruit on me, but I do get the creaminess as well. It reminds me of walking into a candle store around Christmas. You pick up all of the different scents, but you can't exactly pinpoint where they're coming from. I absolutely love this one.

This is my first review, so bear with me. The Instructional Manual is by far one of the best foodie/fruity scents I've ever purchased from the lab. It is a very round scent. I mostly get the strawberries and vanilla, but the red musk and cherry blossoms are definitely there in the background. It kind of reminds me of a creamier, slightly sexier version of L’Essence de L’Engouement. It stays close to my skin but I've still received plenty of compliments on it. My only complaint is that it doesn't last very long on me. My skin eats strawberry scents (probably because they smell so delicious) I give it a solid 5 out of 5 stars.

Best masculine scents *from the last five years*?

Satyr is my absolute, all-time favorite masculine bpal scent. I can think of several others I like, but none of them even come close. Fenris Wolf would probably be my second favorite. -

If you like Blood, you should try Dragon's Milk!
