  1. Loooooovely. Soft, magical, mystical. A moon-lit valley filled with white flowers.

Def androgynous on me. Very neutral (in fact, reminds me vaguely of that and elf... but mostly in how neutral and everyday/calm it is).

  2. Thick, droopy like sirup. Green, bitter with a sweet undertone. I can waddle around it but I can basically pick apart the listed notes from the description. Interesting!!
Goes a little laundry detergent on me after about five minutes - sad, it was quite lovely!

  3. Starts as a lovely green FRESH apple on me, and quickly turns into a more red "mature" scent. Less candy, more "sitting at a jazzcafé with some hard liquor, surrounded by books on wooden shelves. Not that there's neccesarily a liqour-note in there, but there is a sharp edge. Slightly smokey, even a bit dusty but nothing too crazy. Warm and cozy. Nice. :smilenod:

  4. Eehhhhh. Is there vetiver in here? Oppoponax? This is thick and droopy.

Not getting much pine or fir ironically, just a hint. Not getting much floral or citrus here. The "nasty" notes dissapear within a few minutes, and it does dry down to something more ozone-y. Still thick and droopy, but not as evil this time around. No snow here! Just a troll-ridden bog.

  5. This is what I was hoping Solanine was like! Smells like stepping into a flower shop!! Just, lotsa tropical flowery sweetness!!
The throw goes down a LOT on drydown unfortunately. It also goes a bit more flat but my nose/skin have been doing weird things all day so *shrugs*

  6. A very neutral, soft scent. Not a big throw, reminds me a lot of a halloweenie which I'll edit in whenever I can remember the name. It's much less cold than that one, otherwise very much the same. A graveyard in the shade. There's a sweetness to it thanks to the vanilla. Dark, goth but with a playful tinge.

  7. Thick, gooey and dark in the imp. Labdanum overload. I can pick out all the notes, but that labdanum, coral and absinthe are the strongest on me so far. Very licquorice-y on me on drydown - cough syrup! Interesting. But! Not for me. I don't mind smelling like candy, but not so much licquorice, d'aw.

  8. It took me ages to get my hands on a decant of this - and it's not surpising! This is lovely, a candy-creamy ginger. Simple but so good. It's very soft on me/in the imp which is making me sad, but after drydown I get a big throw outta this - and what a throw it is! It turned super bitter (with the same sweet notes in the background, just more "wet". Oh no. :c

  9. Very pleasant, soft, clean outside-y scent. A witch in the woods having some sort of ritual at night, but nothing controversial, possibly just making medicine. I can't pick apart all the notes (my allergies are not helping) but this is definately feminine, with a woodsy undertone.

  10. Oooh this is nice! Getting a touch of laundry detergent, but nothing too bad; soft, bright and bubbly! This is suuuuper summery, it even has some sort of warmth in it. Not for me, but very very cute!

  11. A soft bouqet. Idk if it's my hormones or just the scents I'm trying but everything that so even touches my skin today dissapears on me. Bah! That said, Getting exactly as it says on the tin. I'd say it's very witchy. Like what a witch would smell like during her a ritual under the full moon. Lovely.

  12. I'm getting something that reminds me of Dwarf - though I haven't sniffed that one in years, so don't quote me on that. It's this almost harsh, ston-y metal thing - though, not comparable to the metals in The magician or The robot scarab.

It's overall pretty soft; refined. Charming. Harshly masculine - all the "darker" notes very well blended (I know they're in there thanks to the description, otherwise I might not have guessed them all individually). But the tea rose and red currant giving it something sweet and sexy. What a guy! :wub2:

atm not keeping it, but I recon I'll be redirected to this later on in the future...

  13. At first sniff this is not the type of scent I would wear, but upon having it on my skin for a bit, there's definately some redeemably qualities in there. At first my mind went to 'ghost house' heady, dusty and dark, but it's gotten a bit more complex in the span of a couple of minutes. There's a softer patchouli (comparable to the one in The laughter of Loki) I get as base, with the other notes complimenting it well - sweet, but not too - and the others giving this a masculine and warm touch. The lavender being the most appearant sweet note in here, slightly comparable to TKO's.

Dry on me, this is what Alan McMichael should've smelled like! Someone with a warm character to feel at ease with.

  14. Oya

Wet: Sticky, woodsy purple goo. Hard candies.

Is there a touch of cinnamon in here?

On drydown it goes more cherry-hard candies. Maybe a herb? Something slightly green.

Goes surprisingly soft after waiting for about 5 minutes. A touch of strawberry, including the previous mentioned notes.

Aaaaaaand then it's gone. My skin ate it. Huh.

  15. Ohh such a soft, sweet creamy lavender.... spun sugary purply goodness!! TBH I was not expecting this airy goodness though I don't know why. Maybe the assumption in the back of my mind that anything that's overhyped isn't worth it but this is really good.

Also I'm not usually a fan of lavender in perfume but, the lavender that I get from the imp is SO different on direct contact to the skin!

Echoing what others have mentioned many times here; definately getting that lavender marshmallows in here, that's what it morphs into directly and stays pretty much the same until drydown. A little less of a throw. Gonna hold onto this imp for a bit.

  16. Wow!!! I believe I used to have a bag in high school that smelled exactly like this. What the heck!!!!

On my skin this is a little more spicier; lotsa ginger and ...I'm pretty sure it's the cardamom (that, or it's the clove, or the root-aspect) that's making this especially "rich/thick" and a bit heady on me. ....Almost to the point where it gets a lil hard to sniff. Not - that I can't smell it, no but that it's almost a little too extra.

A furry ball of an evil creature with a soft spot on it's heart. That's secretly a big goofball too.

Fun, but dark. A privilege to give this a try!

  17. Ok so I'm not a honey fan, but this bears a lot of resemblance to me in memory of a strawberry honey I got to taste at a bee farm in New Zealand once.

If you love honey, you'll love this. I'm mostly getting honey with a touch of amber and the vanilla adds that tinge of extra creamy sweetness.

  18. In the imp: Hard candies, pepper, red currant.

As it dries down, It keeps this 'kick', a zesty harsh crisp layer of sugared lemon and pomegranate over a squishy dribble of red currant. Strong woodsy undertones. Only getting a little vanilla and cedar. Not me at all, but it's not bad!

  19. Indeed that same woodsy note that's in Crimson peak - Starts off almost oudh-y on me. Dusty, dark. Like standing on a porch from a house in the woods at night, a string of fairy lights lighting the paths ahead.

Goes a little more clean (not soap-y, more "skin-clean") and a vague sense of a sugar not that reminds me a touch of mouse circus.

Looovely!!!! But, unfortunately way too faint on me.

  20. Oh no. Vetiver. But I gotta be brave and review this like a good girl hm. Let this dry for a while; the vetiver calms down a bit after a good while but it smells like thrift shops. Now I love me some thrift shops, but I don't like the smell. :P

  21. There's something unpleasant in here that activated directly as I put this on my skin, which I'm guessing may be the musk combined with the ginger. Smells like rotten garbage, but!! That aside this is super fruity and fresh on application.

THANKFULLY whatever is making this so yucky on me kinda ..flows into the background a little later and I get to enjoy it a bit more. Sweet cranberries, mostly. Not for me, unfortunately.
