Upon seeing the bright red colour in the vile something in me had to try this first of the batch I got. My first impression is sweet, dark, lush. And ofcourse, blood; something similar to the metal note in the magician, but much subtler. Quite beautiful! I can't really tell the plant notes apart, but it's definately green. I'm also getting something like... fig? Maybe it's the currant. A couple of minutes in this is almost candy-sweet on me. In it's dry state it's become very dusty on me, and a lot of it has faded. Shame, cause I really enjoyed this! It's still nice, but it's become very 'warm' and too dusty for me to wear daily.

Herby milk indeed. How odd!! Very sweet, creamy. Goes rancid on my skin after a couple of minutes unfortunately but this is pretty pleasant other than that! -
Ahh, there's the lovely leaves note, this time not necessarily dead, but blended well with something that smells like maple syrup. Like any leaves note, this amps on me like crazy. Magnificent autumn but sweeter!

This brings a punch! This is an evil, evil witch. Very very sharp. Sharp florals, sharp and cold sandalwood and a thick layer of pepper. Interesting, but not for me.

There's some other bpal scent this reminds me of though I don't know what (helping..). On me this is a wet, soaked rose (...or just rose-sap lol), with greeny rose undertones, harsh white musk and indeed something that reminds me of fur or fabric. It's quite soft, but not as "warm" as I'd expected. Nice!

I've so badly wanted to try this for a long time! And honestly, from the imp this scent is giving me a break; from the imp, all the notes are easy to pick apart but blended well! Applied to the skin it's very earthy. Similar to zombi's earthyness but much, much more green. Mossy and woodsy. There's something cold and minty in here. Not sure what cypress is supposed to smell like but I'm guessing that's what that is. With a couple of minutes it fades a touch, and the strong green and minty notes are much softer. Lovely, atmospheric, dark but soft.

Yay, finally got my hands on an imp! From the imp, deliciously sugared florals with a soft tobacco. As it's on my skin, It's still as strong, though the florals fade only by a hair, and I can really smell the dead leaves now. Couple of seconds later, the cocoa emerges. Reminds me a lot of the new version of the candy butcher, the chocolate note in there. Another couple of minutes later, the florals calm their petals down and while they're still definately there, it's more subtle now. I'm definately getting hard candies (sweet 'n sour) and I'm not exactly sure what sweet cactus blossom is supposed to smell like but I think I'm smelling it. (pineapple-ish-y). This is very festive, hyper, joyous and surprisingly autumn-y.

2016 Version. Soft, very sweet but slightly spicy. A great blend and not too much that stands out. A delicious patchouli if that makes sense. Sexy, and dark indeed. Very film noire. I don't think my skin likes to keep it on as it seems to want to discard it asap (BAD SKIN!! B A D) but I'm... actually considering a bottle of this in the future.

How haven't I tried this before!! From the imp and wet it's very sweet, almost tarty, with a hint of smoke from the opium. Upon drydown, the sweetness calms itself a bit, following the mandarin and red sandalwood blooming up slowly. It's still mostly vanilla and opium on me. I don't want to smell like this but it's made me very hungry indeed.

I was expecting something warm from the notes but of course the description is on the nose; this is very melancholy and grey. The bubbly bourbon vanilla and wood give this a wonderful base of softness, but the roses and apple peel give it a sharp edge, nearly dangerous. These go harsher on me by the minute. Very interesting, don't think I've smelled anything like it before!

2015 Version. From the imp this is old ladies' perfume to me. On my skin it seems to go stronger, and there's this warm undertone comparable to an undertone in the old version of Mme. Moriarty. On me this just amps and amps and amps up the jasmine, with that sweet vanilla undertone and a heady dark musk in the background, plus something I can't put my fingers on. (I'm not sure what mimosa is supposed to smell like anyway). But it's mostly jasmine. I don't hate it, but I wouldn't wear it.

Hm, this one is really odd on me. In the imp too, don't get me wrong, it's just... odd. I don't think it's a bad thing, it just unfortunately doesn't work on my skin. All plastic and something that reminds me of something unpleasant about childhood (though I have no idea what it might be). Now that I read up the notes the rose-infused sandalwood makes sense. It's damp. A squishy rose engulfs a dusty shelf. Covered in damp violet, and I guess there's a slight golden, nearly-earthy, sharp tone in here which could be the elemi? Really not good on me anyways.

First thing that comes to mind is The ghastly garden. Looming (in a way), sweet but powdery and super green. And it's as juicy on me as I remember strangler fig to be! But yeah, it's got something that the ghastly garden got, something heady and dark.

Mmm... that lovely metal note BPAL does brilliantly, plus something that reminds me a whole lot of what I think was dwarf from the RPG series. Masculine, cologne-y, ozone-y, harsh clanking metal 'n stone and a lovely sweet insence in there pulling it together.

CHRIST this is sweet from the imp! Smells exactly like these awful (well ok I personally don't like 'em but my mom did) whisk puddings, specifically the caramel and strawberry ones, eugh. But! Let's give it a try shall we. Ah! On my skin it goes to a more raspberry type bubblegum, a very different sweet scent from the pudding (phew). Now I gotta be honest I've never had red velvet anything but from what I know about it and can imagine this is indeed said notes thrown together. Hypersweet, but not too in-your-face.
-
My first thought when sniffing the imp was 'Oh no. I like it.' The notes combined, while I can take them apart, work very well together and form to something very ozone-y. Sweet, fuzzy. After a little while it goes to full-on green mostly from the moss with a background layer of mint. The ozone note has faded and now it's more of a forest-y earthy type of vibe. Very witchy, and soft. I like it, but I do like the initiative scent a little better!

I've tried this a couple of times now cause I really REALLY want to love this, but I just... don't get that excited about this. On my skin this is a glowy strong amber with lots of lavender, and that inky musk swirling in there. I'm not a huge fan of the first two to begin with but these can work for me if blended well (and they are in here, don't get me wrong), however I just don't think I like the ink note. So if you're not a fan of that note you might not like it either, but otherwise it was worth trying!

From the imp this scared me a bit, strong vetiver and lavender thrown in your face; however applied on my skin it turns nearly directly to something much more cocoa-y and the vanilla suddenly goes really strong. After about five minutes the lavender is back, but not with a vengeance, and the lovely musk engulfs it all in a soft haze. I had to add some at this point cause it was already fading away... which I don't want cause I like it! D: Ugh this simply fades too fast to buy for me, but the time that it has on me is so, so lovely. Warm, fuzzy, that mean streak on me being mostly a soft lavender and something else slightly juicy and ...green? Very, very nice!
-
hOOOOooooooooonooo this is awful in the imp!! What!!! Decaying cakes and fruit. Plus some vines. Doesn't morph at all, or not fast enough, in any case- washing it off.
-
This is soap on me from the start! However the apple goes to the background in the process of drying down and a very natural rose comes up the the foreground. Lovely, but still soap.
-
I wasn't expecting to like this as much as I do from the imp! Dark, woody and broody. On my skin it starts morphing a bit and goes slightly chemical, which I'm guessing is the myrhh's fault (it's myrhh but really sweet)? Or maybe it's the mullein but I have no idea what that's supposed to smell like. The vetiver is ...there... but not to the point where it's making me want to cut off my arm. Actually, it reminds me a tad, and just a tad of Reptoid dominion, one of my faves. Though, this one is more sweet in a heady way and slightly less green. I certainly don't hate this. Definately wet, heady, dark and new-agy but sweet with a touch of something minty.
-
Smells like a really sweetened red musk to me. Or maybe dragon's blood or something. So sweet, that it reminds me of lollipops. Slightly spicy... red currants... hm. I smelled this in some sort of detergent before I swear...
-
This is sharp mint, tea, lemon and orange blossom from the start, and doesn't morph much from there on in. A consistently strong throw for about three hours and then it fades into a softer version of itself and I can finally smell the honey. And honestly I don't think this'll ever fade off my skin entirely if I don't wash it off! Not for me, but I'm very glad I got to try this lovely, feminine scent.
-
A sharp earthyness is the first thing that comes to mind. There's a greenery in there, a contsricting vine. The decay is like rotting fruit, but not... disgusting? It works? Which baffles me. Is there only a hint of red musk in there? I LOVE this perfume. I mean, not necessarily as a perfume or on me, but man, Beth certainly did SO damn well on the Crimson peak scents. Once again perfectly fitting the story. This is sad, twisted, and so dark. I love it.

Oh no. Oh no. I got this very sweetly as an extra, but I forgot how much lotus doesn't work on me. I mean, I'm not a fan of the note on itself, but it goes so... eughg on my skin. Love the rose though, thick and heady. What a shame.
