In the bottle: Spice Cake Wet: An Apple Cider Spided Cake with frosting on top. Mmm. Dry: The Apple Cider is now stronger and with more spice. There is only a touch of cake/frosting smell to it now… A little later it is all Apple Cider and Spice. I have to say, I really love this. I'm glad I was able to try it.

In the bottle: Peppermint candy canes. Wet: Really strong peppermint oil smell. Dry: Still all peppermint, just toned down slightly from the wet phase. This one isn't all sugary sweet like the Lick It Now 2013 version. But still good.

In the bottle: Sugary minty snow. Wet: I get the spun-sugar snow with this because it is sugary sweet on me. Just like I said it smelled like in the bottle, its a sugary, minty snow. Dry: The snow has gained strength and only a hint of mint now. But its still a sweet snow smell. Really pretty scent.

In the bottle: Sweet and fruity also slightly perfume-y. Wet: Starts out a sweet fruity smell with a perfume-y scent to it. I don't seem to be getting any specific fruit smell, like orange or apple as others have mentioned above, just a mixed fruit. And no spices either... This starts going really tart. Dry: This has now gone completely artificial on me and the scent is already almost gone. Unfortunately this, like Skyrgamur, doesn't seem to be working with my skin chemistry.

In the bottle: Sweet mixed berries and yogurt. Wet: Its all sweet mixed berries. Dry: The sweetness has gone away and now it smells like tart berries. But not on the foody side, it's more on the artificial side. It reminds me of cheap berry scented candles or room sprays.

In the bottle: This smells of fresh roses. Wet: Nice fresh roses with a bit of fur. Dry: Roses, its all roses. The fur left and the snow never came. But this is a very pleasant rose note for me. So that's good. And it has amazing staying power on my skin.

In the bottle: Sugary and creamy vanilla. Wet: This is sweet and creamy. The vanilla to me is like smelling vanilla extract in the bottle. I get a somewhat marshmallow-y vibe, but its so much more than that... Ooh, I know what this is reminding me of! Its like melted marshmallow cream mixed with vanilla, butter and evaporated milk being stirred together on the stove preparing to make fudge. Dry: This is pretty much staying the same as the wet phase. But for me, that's a great thing. This is truly a beautiful scent.

2015 Version In the bottle: Woodsy with a hint of musk. Wet: A really musky forest. Dry: The woodsy smell has died down some, but there is still a lot of musk. I like it, but not an absolute favorite. The wet stage was my favorite.

2014 Version In the bottle: Pine and clove Wet: I'm getting the pine and clove. There is also something else, which must be the pitch. I'm just not familiar with that note, so I'm not sure. It's not the best of pine scents. It's starting to remind me of cleaning products. Dry: I'm really not sure about this. I don't know what I'm smelling for sure. I no longer get the pine or clove. I've got to say this isn't good and it's not working for me. Time to scrub this off. I was really hoping to have liked this one.

In the bottle: Trees! I love it! Wet: This is beautiful. I'm being surrounded by so many trees of different varieties with a smokey touch in the back. Dry: Ok, so the trees have really toned down now and something has really come out making the scent much sweeter. I'm thinking that must be the opoponax since that is what other reviewers are stating. I can vaguely smell the tobacco still, it adds just the slightest touch of smokiness to this now sweetened scent… It gets even sweeter as time passes. The tobacco has actually even come out more. Now it's the trees that are completely in the background. Im not entirely sure what to think of this. My favorite part is when it's wet on the skin. I'm not as fond of the dry down. It's not bad, but it's not great either. Though I am very intrigued at how this morphs.

In the bottle: Aquatic and sweet, slightly minty. Wet: Aquatic and minty. I am getting a little of the silver fir. Its not as sweet out of the bottle. Dry: The dry down doesn't smell much different. The aquatic smell is a bit heavier, but it still has the mint and fir. I'm not sure if the aquatic smell I'm getting is the snow note or if its the white tea I'm getting? Overall its a pretty scent, but its not my favorite from the Yules I've tried so far.

2015 Version In the bottle: Snowy Pines. Really pretty. Wet: A nice smell of Snowy Pine trees and a mix of flowers. The pine is a little stronger than I smelled in the bottle and seems sweeter. I'm also getting a little touch of musk in there. Dry: It's so sweet. The florals and snowy pines are about equal in strength and it's so pretty... The musk has come out even more adding a nice touch of muskiness to the scent. I really love this. Pines are one of my favorites smells and this didn't disappoint.

In the bottle: I'm getting a very soft minty smell. Wet: It's very soft and light at first, but then the mint just really pops out. I'm really liking this! Dry: It's still very minty and now has a faint aquatic smell to it. This is very wonderful indeed! Love this!

In the bottle: Definitely doesn't smell like an unwatered Christmas Tree. This smells completely opposite of that. It's like being in the middle of a Christmas Tree lot and smelling all of the wonderful trees all at once! Wet: The scent is not quite as intense as in the bottle, it tones down quite a bit. But still, it is wonderful Christmas Trees. Dry: Its not strong fresh trees anymore. It really does seem more like an unwatered/drying out tree now. It reminds me of when I had real Christmas trees as a kid. It doesn't last long on my skin, but it is amazing while it lasts. This would be wonderful as a spray and spraying it onto my fake tree.

In the bottle: Spiced cocoa. Yum! Wet: Its a nice cup of cocoa with a touch of cinnamon. Dry: This is simply hot cocoa with cinnamon. Not quite Mexican cocoa. Overall though, I like. Though I am a sucker for hot cocoa.

In the bottle: Carnations!!! Wet: Carnations! But quickly transforms into lavender. Then you get this pop of mint. So, it has become a minty lavender. Dry: Dry, this remains a nice minty lavender. I thought at one point I could smell just a hint of patchouli, but it was so faint and didn't last that I wasn't quite sure. This really is a wonderful scent. I love mint and lavender together. My only complaint is that this has absolutely no staying power. It fades completely in under 10 minutes. But, its nice while it lasts.

2015 Version In the bottle: Mint (Spearmint?) and somewhat aquatic. Wet: Definitely minty. Almost seems floral and aquatic. Dry: Yep, a minty, floral, aquatic scent. This is quite wonderful. Not at all what I was expecting when reading past reviews. I do wonder if what I am thinking as aquatic is what others are describing as ozone? But regardless, this is another winner for me. And this actually has more staying power than a couple other Yules I have tried. Yay!

In the bottle: I'm getting a green, woodsy, citrusy, smoky scent. Wet: Very similar to in the bottle. Green, woodsy, citrusy, and smoky. Specifically I can pick out the cypress, moss, bergamot and the tobacco flower. But the longer its on the harder it is to pick out the notes. Dry: Like just stated, as this dries it becomes harder to pick out the notes. Its blended well and smells really nice... After some time has past the clove comes out and becomes the primary note. Overall I really like this. I love how the clove just decides to pop out after a while. The other notes are still there, but just in the background. I winner for me!

I bought this bottle blind because I just had a feeling that I would like it. And I wasn't wrong. In the bottle: Vicks Vapor Rub and pine trees. Very strong smelling. Wet: Yep, reminds me of Vicks Vapor Rub and Pine trees. And now add a slight smokiness. Dry: The Vicks Vapor Rub smell has really toned down now and is mostly Pine Trees. So much Pine and I still seem to get a hint of smokiness. It truly smells like Christmas. Not at all what I was expecting, but I really love it. This is just so me. Not a lot of throw, at all, but still smells great to me... If anyone is afraid that this would be a super smokey scent or something, it is definitely not.

Winter-Time 2014 In the bottle: Soft, sweet, a little minty. Wet: Pretty much the same as in the bottle. A soft, sweet, minty scent. Spearmint or Wintergreen? Can't quite tell. Dry: This stays the same in all stages, but I happen to really like this scent as is. I love the soft sweetness of this and the mint. A very nice blend. I wasn't sure what I would think of this at first, but it turns out this one really works for me.
