Beautiful soft and sweet pink rosebud. I have a lot of roses so I am not sure if I need a bottle of this one
-
My skin chem kind of just muddled this one up. It was softly sweet, but nothing stood out on my skin unfortunately.
-
Wet the musk was the strongest note on me, with a little tart cranberry and ginger. It was very sweet and sensual. As it dried I got some lily. Dry it's a soft, tart scent. There is a little zing from the ginger and the lilies waft in and out. Very intriguing. Don't know if I am in love yet, but this could grow on me.

Starts off as all sweet red apple. Dry I get mostly apple, with a bitterness underneath. Perfect execution of the concept, but not sure if it's for me!

Mod Note: New topic for Lick It With Consent created due to different color copy/description. You can find the 2014 Lick It With Consent review topic here.
Considering the current sociopolitical climate, I felt it was important to bring back this specific incarnation of Lick It. Proceeds from Lick It With Consent will be donated to RAINN.
(For a spot-on dissertation on what consent entails, please visit Erika Moen and Matthew Nolans VERY NSFW infographic. Oh Joy Sex Toy is not a sponsor of Black Phoenix, or the other way around. Er, whichever. This is just a damn good link, and I wanted to pass it on!)
A sugar-crusted vanilla peppermint stick!
The peppermint is very soft, and I feel its coolness very lightly on my skin as I wear it. The vanilla is very strong underneath, and I get the sugar too. A beautiful soft, sweet candy cane scent with a good amount of throw! -
This is a perfect raspberry scent. In the bottle and wet this is a super jammy, sticky, sugary raspberry. As it dries it gets the brightness and the ittiest bit of tartness of real raspberry. I can smell the powdered sugar and just a little bit of the warm doughnut underneath.

The snow in this smells very lightly minty, the word brisk comes to my mind and that more accurately describes it to me. It's not like toothpaste or menthol, just crisp cool snow. The brisk snow is very strong in the bottle and wet, but as it dries it becomes softer and sweeter, but not quite into the "sweet snow" territory of other blends like Snow White. The blue musk is cool, clean, and a just a little sweet. Overall this reminds me of going out early in the morning of the first snow fall. Everything is quiet and the air is crisp, and it smells so clean.

Boober is a beautiful clean scent, I get a little linen-y feel.

I think I must amp the ambergris accord and I am not mad about it. On me this is mostly ambergris and myrrh. Golden, musky, and just the faintest bit powdery. It smells faintly spiced and get some more sweetness from the benzoin. I am in deep.

Got a little to test from a lovely forumite! At first the incense was a little too sharp for me, but dries to a beautiful smooth vanilla with a little tobacco and cognac. The linen note makes this unique. Only a little incensey smokiness remains. Unfortunately I find this freaking perfect.

I'm currently trying to broaden my bpal horizons, so I'd love some suggestions!
Current top 5 are:
Stekkjastaur
Lucille Sharpe
Alan McMichael
Light's of Men's Lives
The Last Unicorn (love me some lettuce notes)
I would like to second LizziesLuck's rec of De Vos' unicorn for a fluffy, sugary scent. Also I haven't sniffed Alan McMichael but based on the notes and other recommendations I would say St. Clare might be up your alley! It's warm, rummy, and a little woody.

This is going to be a summer staple for me. This is so bright and refreshing. The grapefruit isn't too bitter. The combination of grapefruit and white tea is so crisp and gorgeous. I get a little bit of fresh ginger as well, it tickles my nose a little.
-
In the imp: fig and patchouli. Dark and gritty, and just a touch sweet.
Wet: Similar, but something very earthy. Like straight up dirt. After looking at the notes- mushroom for sure.
Dry: Very dirty, earthy scent. Almost all mushroom with a little bit of patch and oakmoss.
-
In the imp: very tart citrus.
Wet: tart citrus plus heady florals (hello tuberose!)
Dry: The frankincense and tonka help the tuberose and pikake from going to tropical on me. I get mostly these notes, and just the lightest hints of bright citrus around it. While it doesn't exactly strike me as a Yule, this is a nice bright and refreshing blend for the cooler months.

Lavender can be a hard sell for me, I usually find it too sharp/astringent. In the imp and wet this reminds me a lot of Ode on Melancholy, just a subdued, dry lavender. The jasmine and honeysuckle aren't super prominent, but they are this gorgeous warm base that really sexes up the lavender. But it is all very subdued, and makes me think of the purplish fingers of the night sky reaching down after the sun sets.

Have you tried Shub-Niggurath? For me it starts off like ginger cookies, but there is also a bright, fresh ginger aspect. It straddles sweet and spicy wonderfully!

Boo
in Halloweenie
2009 version.
In the imp: vanilla cream.
Wet: Super buttery vanilla cream
Dry: vanilla cream with light dusty of spun sugar.
-
In the imp: honey, orange blossom, and peach.
Wet: all apple and skin musk.
Dry: very soft peach, skin musk, and honey, with a little bite from the resins. It's a warm, better-than-your-skin scent. Sexy in a very natural, relaxed way.

Very soft aquatic-touched rose. I think it's either pink or red. It's a softly glowing, glimmering blend. Quite evocative of moonlight.
-
Sweet dark, musky amber. Absolutely glorious. The wet stage is pretty sweet and there the amber reminded me a little of Mouse's Long Sad Tale but all grown up.

Starts of with lots of tangy citrus. There is a hefty amount of sweet cherry blossom when wet too. Dry the blossoms fade and and mix with soft, but zingy citrus. I get mostly yuzu which smells to me a lot like grapefruit. I never detect the black tea.
-
In the imp: Green and sappy. Very light.
Wet: spicy lily, ginger, and a little sharp neroli.
Dry: Frankincense with a strong lily.
Will try again in the spring to see if I need this!
-
In the imp: gritty patchouli
Wet: very juicy, sweet apricot. Mouthwatering.
Dry: Apricot is still juicy and most prominent. Very bright. There is a little patchouli underneath sexing things up.
The apricot is just so true to life it is astounding me. I am generally not in love with fruity scents but this one has me tempted.

In the bottle: all orange. But like a dark, smooth orange. Not bright and acidic.
Wet: dark, smooth orange and cinnamon. It's the soft, sweet cinnamon.
Dry: very smooth tobacco with hints of orange

In the bottle: White musk, crisp tea, white rose, and something that smells like fresh ginger. It reminds me of Kumiho, but much softer.
Wet: tea, rose, orchid, and vanilla. Beautiful, cool-toned floral tea.
Dry: Cool vanilla tea, with a deep musky sweetness of the amber and white rose. Airy, and cool. A less sweet, less sinister, and more floral relative of Dorian.
