    Caliban

In the imp this was sweet and syrup-y. Almost stomach-turning. But on it was light salty-sweet sea air. Not for me, but a beautiful beachy aquatic!

Coconut, Vanilla Bean and Tiare Hair Gloss

This is my first foray into hair gloss. I was worried it would weigh down my fine hair, but with a light hand it just made my hair super shiny and soft. This scent was uber tropical, very tiare forward with a little coconut. Sweet and beachy!

    Nanshe

This is super sharp, I get almost entirely lemon verbena with just a little bit of dry lavender. But somehow this makes me very sleepy though bright citrus is usually energizing for me

    Indulgence

Everyone has said it. Cold, black/green, gleaming. Like expensive marble. Just a very smooth, it's incense-y but not super smoky. Dark but somehow also shining. So beautiful!

    Bien Loin D'Ici

On me this is a a lot of red musk and a little spice. It reminds me a lot of Scherezade, but less incense-y. This is definitely sweeter but doesn't scream honey or caramel at me. This feels earthy and sexy, but not earthy in a dirty way. Just a deep, musky warmth.

    Paladin

Immaculate white musk, sweet frankincense, bourbon vanilla, white leather, and shining armor. I did not get much of the metal or balsam aspects. This was a base of soft white leather, frankincense, and clean white musk, ever so slightly powdery in the best way with a little vanilla. A sweet and warm scent. I think I'll need a bottle!

    The Ghost

This feels very transparent and hollow, very fitting for a ghost scent. I get a lot of white florals, a little sharp at first. Dry it's mostly osmanthus and lily. There is just a hint of green in here too. It did lean a little soapy when wet, but now it's just a clean, (not heady) white floral. I find it quite intriguing, but will need to test further before I know if I need a bottle.

    Scherezade

This is actually quite light on me. Starts out with intense red musk, but than saffron and the spices come out. I'm having trouble identifying them, but it's warm and lightly sweet in an earthy way. I also swear that I get some rose in here. I just wish it wasn't so faint on me!

    Bess

Mostly sharp lemon and mint. Herbal but not in a pleasant way. I can detect just a touch of rose underneath, but this is not working on me.
  10. Snake Oil, Mme. Moriarty, Mouse's Long and Sad Tale, Black Moths, Whip, Bulgarian Tobacco SN, Perversion are some of the ones I wear when I want to smell myself and be smelled by others (weird sentence but moving right along). For how soft a scent Mouse's Long and Sad Tale is, I will smell it on clothes I've worn for days after. Black Moths is another that I don't feel is particularly boisterous when I'm wearing it but I do notice it wafting up throughout the day and will get (positive) comments on it.

    Bathsheba

This is gorgeous and very alluring to me. The carnation, plum, and musk are well balanced. Very warm, and little spicy-sweet. The throw is pretty good on me, but the scent profile is low if that makes sense. People around me can smell it, but it's not an intense scent.

    Sudha Segara

Started off a nice, light, creamy ginger and then disappeared without a trace. First blend to do a disappearing act on me.

    Kumiho

This is one of my favorite summer scents now. I got a little mystery sniffie of it from ralenth and I fell in love and bought a bottle. It reminds me of Shanghai but much sharper and to me, more refreshing. The white tea is very crisp. The ginger is very fresh and has a lot of snap, and I would agree there must be some kind of sharp citrus in here but I can't put my finger on it. This has great throw on me, but in a bright and unobtrusive way.

    Doozers

Well it's sharp radishes and black dirt. There is something a little sweet, which might be the crystals? This was interesting and fun, but a little too earthy for my tastes!

    Gomorrah

While I get the date and herbs in the imp and on wet, this dries down to just a soft fig on me. Pretty and succulent, but not for me!

    Akuma

I found the blood orange to be very bitter and astringent at first. The raspberry comes in and sweetens and the neroli softens a bit. I think I could see myself using this in the summer months!

    Mme. Moriarty, Misfortune Teller (2015)

This is the first super red/fruity scent that I have had an intense affection for. The red musk is really intense in the decant/wet but settles in with all the juicy fruits. The patchouli leaf is very grounding but well blended into the other notes. It's velvety and sexy, almost boozy. Will need a bottle!

    Visions of Autumn III

The patch is fairly smooth and soft, and the honey and vanilla make this pretty snuggly. I get just a touch of very soft cinnamon.

    Carnaval Diabolique

So I have realized that if there is more than five or six notes listed my brain gets confused and I have no idea what something will smell like. I think because opium smoke is listed first I thought this would be dark and incense-y. In the decant and on wet it's all pale lemon, almost candy-like at first. After awhile I get a touch of tuberose and other flowers underneath. Then coconut comes out too as well as the vanilla. I get just a whiff of opium. This is really summery and whimsical in a subdued way. Way brighter and softer than I had imagined.
  20. In the decant: The almond is reading as a very sweet cherry Wet: Cherry syrup, but with a nuttiness underneath Dry: Soft almond cookie and incense. Comforting and beautiful. I love all of the Scalias

    Magnificent Autumn

I get green leaves and sap, and just a light layer of dead leaves underneath. Wet there was just a hint of chill. There is also a fruit, maybe apple? Maybe pomegranate? This is definitely an early autumn scent for me.

    Bengal

In the imp: smells like a nice cup of spiced chai On wet: spice bomb. Super heated, mostly clove and cinnamon but also getting ginger Dry: the spices smooth out, still very present though, but over a nice base of skin musk and just barely sweetened by honey. This is everything I wanted it to be and will probably be a bottle!

    Malice

This was very spicy-sweet in the imp and on wet in a way that I didn't like. Dry it's very dark and resinous, in a way that I'm certainly digging. It's very well blended, as the patchouli isn't super gritty or prominent (and as a patch lover that would not deter me anyway!). I get a little heat from the clove and just a little of the sexy floral thing ylang ylang does so well. I don't know if I need a bottle but I will definitely use the imp.

    French Love

A warm, soft, sexual blend. Sweet and alluring. Used to entice new lovers and add an aura of temptation and carnal sin to your environment. Mostly dragon's blood on me, which goes little weird on me and is giving me a headache in this blend. Also getting some soft floral (lilac?) and cinnamon. This one is not doing it for me!

    Orgy with Nine Women

Champaca magnolia, bourbon vanilla, blonde tobacco, and white honey. The champaca starts off a little too sharp but warms up. Beautiful toasty tobacco surrounds it with a little honey and vanilla. The champaca stays a little on the sharp side but I think I like it!
