I like it. Yes, has a strong resemblance to Snake Oil which is one of my favorites but as it dries down you can detect a soft earthier movement in this oil keeping the sweet tones still in existence.

Just got mine in. It is not lightly scented as some were afraid of it being, it's a med/strong scent out of the bottle that reminds me of spiced sugar cookies with that touch of a lemon note. Dried down it's a cinnamon sugar cookie scent. Glad I got this one! Cannot go wrong with this choice.

This perfume is a BPAL favorite! It's warmly cold, fresh and thick - the best way to describe it. Wet, I get a fresh coldness. Dry, I get a soft powdery warm spiced Amber with a far distant chill. This can be worn during all seasons, all year long. Love.

I wanted so bad to love this, however the very sharp, masculine cologne notes (both wet and dry) caused me an instant, splitting headache. My boyfriend liked it though so now it's his to keep. Just wasn't for me ;( -
Today I received my 2015 bottle of Samhain and I have to say doesn't smell as I remembered from my past purchase of this perfume oil. This current 2015 bottle smells like all Powder, Soft Floral and Amber when wet and at dry down. 6 hours later it's all powder. Not a single note of any scents that are described in the formula is detected. Could this be mislabeled? It really smells like the description of Phantasmagoria: Scene Conjuring Up an Armed Skeleton. What I have is a gorgeous scent indeed, but not what I was expecting or paid for. I'll let it rest for a few days to see if anything changes ....
