The past two violet scents I had, I did not like at all. But this one was somehow different and more pleasant. I wouldn't say I felt "luxurious" in it, more like calmed and peaceful. My mom said it was nice, but "not erotic" (!??!?) and my dad said it smells like an "older woman" of around 50 years old. Alright... Anyway, I'm thinking I would wear this to bed, as it's very relaxing.

I don't know, man, there was something strange here that I didn't like. I'm thinking it's the cherry. I'm going to pass it on to a friend of mine. Kyoto (京都) is a fine place, btw. An average city, with big skyscrapers and the occasional temple. There certainly weren't any cherry trees blooming the time of year I went, but oh, the DDR boys certainly were. OH WHAT MEMORIES.

The first time I tried it, I could barely smell it, maybe something fruity, and I figured it was okay. The second time, it was like some kind of horrible bathroom cleanser, and I was not digging it. So I'm giving up on this badboy.

After having similar powdery results with this and Marie, I can only assume it was from the violet. This is alright, but not my thing.

I can smell the rose, and I like it, but the violet is stronger and comes across as powdery unpleasantness. I got a similar kind of result with Wings of Azrael, so I can only assume it's the violets.

Something about this smelled like pure DEATH on me. I wanted to like it, for sure, but I don't know what it was... Petit Mort had a similar feel, the scent of metallic blood that came from the honey, I believe, but there's something more in Hetairae that makes it more intense. I don't dislike it, but I don't want to smell like it.

I am in LOVE. There are things in here that I thought would come out weird on me (honey, mint), but it's all complementary and mild. And it has lasted all day. It starts out with milk and mint, and is now a sweet butter/milk. Unlike other food scents that have only made me hungry, this makes me feel full when I am hungry. It's really lovely. Now I wish I bought a bottle! If I were a mother/grandmother, or was a kindergarten teacher, I'd wear this. 2nd wear: My mother smelled coconut very strongly; I'm ambivalent towards coconut, but it works really well here and melds in with the rest of the ingredients.

More than a year ago, I found this sandalwood-dominated hand lotion (overpriced) with an 18th century, nautical theme and little old-looking maps on the bottle. I thought it smelled weird and too strong at first, but after a half hour, it was BEAUTIFUL. After that, I really wanted a scent that captured the seem feel of that lotion. Anne Bonny really does that. At first it was a little too metalic like blood, but soon it gave the image of a tough wooden ship. So that's awesome.

Starts out very wet and green, with a little bit of the wood, but mostly the leaf. After reapplying, it seemed like the dry, mysterious description given of it. At this point, it's left a dry, antique wood scent on my clothing, which fits more with the "seance" mood. It's different, and nice.

Very sweet. This is strongly cherry; not cough-drop, tacky cherry, but a sexy, sophisticated kind found in alcoholic beverages that I'm legally able to drink in this country. Anyway, there may've been a little bit of almond also, but strong cherry isn't really my thing.

I could've sworn I posted on here earlier... This is for the most part pure cleaning fluid on me. Near the end, it starts turning into a swampy kind of floral like Bayou, but not as nice.

Fruitiness with a little bit of musk. I feel kind of like a shithead for not buying a real bottle while it was up for charity. Think of the donkeys! I like donkeys. Anyway, the scent is nice. I dig it.

I don't know what it is, but all I've gotten so far is lemon-fresh floor cleanser. Unfortunate.

Extremely pink, sweet, and cute. Like sugared flowers with faint strawberries. Especially good on a warm, sunny day, I think this'll last on me for awhile. The initial sweetness reminded me of Harvest Moon. Later: My mother thought this smelled sweet, fruity, and like candy.

Like with Alice, the main thing that comes out here with me is carnation. While Alice is somewhat antique and creepy, this is smooth, feminine, and sweetly pretty. I think this is now a favorite.

Spicy and sexy. After reading lots of Plutarch today, this scent feels very Cleopatra-appropiate. It doesn't last strongly all that long on me, however, but it's still lovely.

I mainly smelled roses in this, but maybe I just don't know what jasmine is like enough. It reminded me a lot of Black Dahlia, but Black Dahlia is sweeter. It certainly doesn't smell wicked, but it is really, really lovely.

It was faint at first, so I had to reapply. It mainly smelled pretty and "nice", until I believe, the myrrh came out. It reminds me of the metallic element in blood. It's very interesting.

Pure pink rose petals. I wore it to the gym, and was sweating rose. Very lovely.

I've tried Snake Oil, and I can see the resemblence. La Petite Mort is less vanilla sweet and with a very metallic edge, and feels more intense. I haven't gotten a "baby powder", but it eventually got a bit smokey and woodsy. Very good stuff.

Sometimes sweet, sometimes spicy, always very warm. Usually like spicy warm milk. Very childish and cozy. I probably am very emotionally immature, so it fits me well. The scent that's on my shirt comes out more spicy than what's on my skin. EDIT: After wearing Brisingam, I realize the carnation is what I smell most. Here it has more of an antique feel, like a doll discovered in an attic.

This reminds me of something or someone, but I can't remember what. It's Feminine, but Adult. It's also very indigo or a deep purple. It's had good lasting power so far and I like it a lot. Anyone who doesn't like their sample can, uh, send it to me. ;D

Pure, soft roses. I don't know what ylang-ylang smells like, but I sure ain't smell no apples. I really liked it, and... it's surprisingly long-lasting. I thought it was fading and put more on, and it apparently was very strong to some people afterwards. Opinions gathered: --smells like a newborn baby, nice. --smells nice. --smells like childhood. (baby powder?) --baby powder, soapy. --soapy, enjoyable. --not so good. I guess I can see where the baby powder comes from, because that smells somewhat similar to roses. Mainly, just softness. It's good to inhale. I can actually see innocent Eve like this!

Bubbly and fruity. Doesn't last very long, though. I had to give a class presentation today, and was scared shitless beforehand, but I think I did pretty well when I got up there. Effect of the "voodoo" scent? I do not know. 2nd day: very grape Kool-aid. Mmmm. [This actually isn't as grape Kool-Aid as, say, Lilith.]

Mmmmm I LOVE it. Herbal, if anything, but I can see where the laundery detergent feel comes from. I haven't gotten any people coming to me more than usual, or any "sexual commanding", but... I still like it.
