I don't get the plastic at all... Wet: Reminds me of chocolate liquor with a bit of chocolate added! On me: I get the ruch of the liquor smell and a little of maybe something sweet and floral? This could be vanilla. Rich, dark, chocolate that dries to a soft and creamy sent that lasts for hours. I like it!

I won't review much on the smell of this because I used White Light for its intended purpose. It is not offensive and a bit floral and woodsy and EMPTY. It is like walking into a room and something big is missing. Being empty is not a bad thing. If I didn't use "empty" as a discription, I could say that it is hollow or lacking but those words have slightly different meaning for me. Ahhh...just thought of a better way to describe it- Pure. As a working oil, I have been using it with a personal illness. The results are nothing short of spectacular and I believe I am recovering nicely. I will have one last blood test done today to confirm that I don't need medication. Now I just need to get over being so tired.

What a great idea! It is 99 degrees here and humid! I never thought about icy/minty.

I got this fresh (made 6/10), hand labled, brown bottle of Lucky #20 as part of a swap. This will be primarily a working (versus wearing) oil. Of course I cannot help it and I am wearing it today. Jasmine, lavender, and herbal. This is a bright green scent and I get flashes of pink. Powdery, smokey, heady and strong. I feel intoxicated (but that could be the margaritas I drank last night) and sleepy.

This is the smell of a well aged rose sachet. Powdery-ancient-musty very feminine blend. After a few hours, I can still smell this strongly and it has a sweet smell with the roses. This is very nice but not really me- reminds me of a sachet and I cannot get past that.

Just when I thought I figured out what I wanted big bottles of- this has to be a LE. CURSES! This is incredible! So well blended I cannot even guess what wonders surround me. 8 hours of wearing it and I still smell divine. This is slightly sweet and spicy, a little deep earthy tone too. *bows to the lab* Where some of the other scents morph on me to bring out single notes...this is the perfect blend from start to - well at least 8 hours later.

Wet: Juicy-fruity and sweet! Dry: Still the sweet, juicy scents but it is also soapy. 8 hours: Sadly this turned sharp and soapy on me. *sigh*

... Her scent is a bounty of golden honeyed almonds and a whisper of African and Middle Eastern spices. Lovely in a dreamy way. Not too sweet and a touch of spice and something warm- maybe amber? I put this on at 5am and at 10:30a it is still very much present. I will be ordering at least a 5 mL of this. I want to bathe in this- so dreamy!

I don't get the citrus either. May have to try it again. My initial impression was this would be yum on a man. Bold and spicey with a touch of patchouli.

I never got the leather smell...is this what leather smells like? In the imp: Powerful, musky and captivating. After dry down: Sexy! This is not a "wear to work" scent but I am wearing it so off to work I go! This is dark and the amber is faint. Eight hours: I still smell this. It reminds me of a dim lit room that has quiet music and lit candles. This could easily be for a man but I am stingy and I am not sharing. The amber and musk are still very present.

... Our blend for this Moon mixes traditional lunar oils with the warmth of amber and heliotrope, the russet haze of dragon's blood resin and crushed orange peel, and a swirl of summertime herbs: chamomile, rue, elder flower and marigold. This is my second try of Red Moon. The first try did not end so well- the second try and I am in love. In the imp: A bit fruity and a bit floral and beautiful. After dry down: I immediatly pick up the spicey and herbal scents. The floral is now fading and the fruit adds just the right sweet. after 3 hours: This is one of those things I am sorry I did not order. I got the imp as a gift and what an amazing gift. Quite simply: Beautiful earth bottled.

In the imp: Juicy, sweet, rosey, and fruity. After dry down: The rose tends to be a stronger scent for me in Persephone. I am not sure I appreciate it much here and I am a fan of some rose scents. 3.5 hours: Roses, roses, roses. The throw on this is all roses and it is just okay. I am a bit twisted on the name of this scent so that may be one reason I can't get into it.
-
In the imp: Full body with sweet and musk. After dry down: I find the musk is most prodominant and really can't smell the apricot but I do smell something sweet and sharp. 3.5 hours: After sniffing my wrist a zillion times- I smell the apricot but it is faint and in the background. This is still a full scent after several hours and the musk and sharpness has not faded. Overall this is really pretty but not my favorite.

Hubby doesn't wear BPAL so he missed out on this one. In the imp: Tangy flowers. I didn't think it was masculine at all. After dry down: I get the musk, a bit of sweetness, and the flowers are fading fast. 5 hours: Musk and tangy- guessing the tangy is the lime although I cannot single it out because it is well blended.

In the imp: Smells more like man made purfume than any of Beth's other scents I have tried. It is spicy and to me I think of carnations. I never get the ginger or cypress but maybe I just don't know what to sniff for? I am suprised that the ginger has not put me into allergic fits because I am highly allergic to it. After dry down: Still commercial perfume for me with spicey fragrance playing with me. Three hours: This is still with me and while it is a nice scent, it isn't me and I admit I fear the ginger. FEAR!
