    Peach IX

I'm in the same boat with LizziesLuck: Peach IX is really great, but short-lived. The peach note is realistic on my skin; the rose musk is delicate & vanilla-tinged. I will cheerfully re-apply as needed, because I really like this!

    The Other Miss Forcible

I love TOMF! I got Miss Forcible first, & enjoy it a lot. I got my bottle of TOMF from the Lab when Antique Lace went live. Like MF, on me TOMF is a sweet musk that stays close to the skin. No baked goods on me, although there is a definite maple vibe to the sweetness. The musk seems similar to the skin musk in Neutral. Medium throw, good wear length. A new favorite! Edited to add: backup bottle bought; I'm using TOMF up pretty quickly. Highly recommended for fans of sweetness (not very foody,) & musk.

    Haunted

Haunted is a rich caramel colored oil. It's a wonderful, rich amber & black musk blend. Black musk's lemony component is at the front when freshly applied, but fades to a musky skin scent as it dries. The combination of amber & black musk is drier than I expected, considering how sweet both components are. The amber stays true & resinous on my skin; this is a sweeter, more "sappy" amber, almost like a golden syrup. Dried, it's a warm, come-hither musky amber. Low throw, long wear length. I wasn't very excited about it when I first tested it from a fresh imp, but as it has aged, it's become one of my favorite amber blends. I just got a fresh bottle from the Lab.

    Oils for Scent Lockets

I just use circles cut out of old felted wool sweaters, lol!

    Horn of Plenty

Almond pineapple musk. Sweet, comfortable, & it lasts over 8 hours in my scent locket. Glad I got a bottle.

Figs and Fig Scents - alone and in combos

Poor Monkey 2016 is my best fig.

    Sandalwood Scents

Brown Jenkin: why don't I just wear it every day until the weather turns cold again (with Fig & White Sandalwood HG?)

    Iulia, L'Artiste du Diable

I took a gamble on a partial bottle of Iulia. I feared the orange blossom, lemon balm, & white mint, which my skin can mess up. Thankfully, my chemistry behaves itself with all 3 in Iulia, & it's a real treat. This is light, fresh & sweet; not cloying, perfect for warm weather. If citrus & mint tend to go high-pitched on you, this is one to check out!

    Die Begierde

This is unlike anything I have worn before. The cognac note smells very realistic in the bottle. Once it hits my skin, though, it becomes (for lack of better words,) savory, or umami. It's the darndest thing! Rose is present, but playing second fiddle to cognac's unexpected virtuoso performance. Even better, cognac appears to stop my skin from turning carnations into cloves! An unusual & fascinating scent.

    Sachs

A little sneezy in the bottle; I guess that's the chamomile. Still tickles my nose while wet. One it's started to dry though, it's all lovely creamy vanilla. Perfect for layering. Very low throw, medium wear.

    Cherokee Rose Single Note

A must-have for BPAL Rose Fiends. Fresh, light, lemony wild rose. Perfect for layering. I got one bottle from the forum, & another from the Lab's Etsy. Not a lot of throw, but so good!

    Croquet

Croquet is magic. Alice probably drank something that smells like this in between swipes at her hedgehog. On my skin, the notes that tumble around like happy puppies in the bottle take turns in the spotlight. At first the musk, bergamot, sage & fruit dominate. Over the next hour, the citrus, bergamot & sage recede. The rose comes forward, the musk softens & lets the patchouli emerge just a little. The nectarine is a major player all throughout. Medium-low throw, super long wear length.

    Delight

Delight is a GC Summertime staple for this floral lover! Sweet, pure flowers. Very clean & unadulterated. I get no powdery or soapy vibe from Delight. It's a little tropical at first, because frangipani is the dominant note while wet. It's strong when first applied, & dries to a lovely, soft, harmonious balance of the 4 flowers. Absolutely perfect for summer.

    Victoria

Light rose, with a little pale musk (not white, thank goodness,) & vanilla. The lily is just barely there for me. Wet, it's just a little sharp. As it dries, the musk & vanilla come into focus, grounding the scent. Low throw. Not long lasting on me. Tea rose isn't my best rose, but Victoria is a keeper.

    Morocco Hair Gloss

Delicious Morocco in HG form. If you love Morocco & have hair, you need this. So good!

Rose Petals and Champa Hair Gloss

Sweet wine grapes, roses & resins. Super strong. I have long, thick hair & usually apply between 6-10 sprays. RP&C is so strongly fragranced that 4 sprays is about the maximum that I can put on, for fear of overwhelming all around me. Rich stuff.

Fig and White Sandalwood Hair Gloss

Perfect. This fragrance lasts forever. It's sweet & woody & versatile.
  18. The Honeyed Patchouli, Black Tea, Sweet Oudh, and Sandalwood are super delicious. The dead leaves note is strong, & hangs around. I love it, but my family are bothered by the bitterness of the dead leaves. So I have to apply it outside. YMMV.

    Burning Vulva

Aged bottle, swapped with a lovely forumite. After 6 years, Burning Vulva isn't spicy on me. I can definitely pick out the vanilla-infused amber, tonka & beeswax. The leather, opoponax & myrrh are there, but very subtle. I believe that the cyclamen, oakmoss, peru balsam, orange blossom, red ginger, and black pepper have become a well-blended background, providing a faint spiciness that supports the sweetness, resins & wax. I'm enjoying aged BV, and happy I got to swap for it.

    It Sifts from Leaden Sieves

The love-child of Ann Bonney & Brown Jenkin. I unexpectedly really love this. Dry like desert snow. Edited to add: Even better after a year of aging. And, thank heavens, my changed skin chemistry isn't amping the patch. Delicious & dry. I swapped & got a backup bottle, it's that good.
  21. White musk is almost always a disaster on my skin. Sjofn & Oberon are my two WM Unicorns. No soap, no high-pitched unpleasantness. Good, from the RPG's, is almost a Unicorn. I keep trying my imp, and it's really nice, but eventually the WM starts to rub me the wrong way because it seems to be longer-lasting than the notes that were balancing it.

    Oberon

Oberon is another BPAL white musk I can wear. The wet & early dry-down stages are a bit screechy, as white musk tends to be on me. Once the patchouli starts to emerge, though, Oberon is lovely! The juniper & bergamot are green, orchid & patchouli are rich & strong. Unexpected win!

    Nanny Ashtoreth

Bottle from a forum purchase. Leather & wood, on me. Very close to Aziraphale. Nanny seems a little sheer and incomplete, like maybe she's designed for layering. I will have to experiment.

    Osun

I didn't think Osun was going to be my kind of blend, but it has grown on me over time. I am a rose fiend, but this isn't the kind of honied rose that I usually get excited about. The herbs take it in a different direction. The sweetness & floral factor is made stronger & more serious. After slowly using up a frimp, I found I am craving Osun, so I have a bottle coming. Edited to add: I bought a bottle of aged Osun from a lovely forumite, & have now confirmed that it ages beautifully. I'm distressed that it's been discontinued.

    Peach VII

I got this Peach via a forum purchase. In the bottle, wet & dry, it's a delectible spicy black musk & dried peach. Related to Morocco, but sweeter, with a chewy, dried fruit element. I'm really glad I got a bottle.
