It starts as rotting jasmine death and then softens a bit. Jasmine is just not my friend!!

    Wrath

I'm reminded that DB is iffy for me. This one was all DB all the time. I love Blood Kiss so I had high hopes for this one!

    Eros

It's a lovely honey wine for a couple of hours and then turns into musky potpourri. Arg!

    Neutral

Wet it is a light sweet floral that I think is sweet pea plus some sort of candy sweetness...maybe sweet tarts? Dry is has medium throw of sweet pea goodness. After a couple of hours I can pick up musk close to my skin. The throw turns into something lightly sweet like someone left open a bit of candy.

    Urd

Wet: Strong muscadine! Sweet and juicy! Drying: The muscadine disappears and is replaced by sweet nag champa. About 30 minutes in the nag champa takes on a stale characteristic. It's odd and it lasts a bit too long! After 2 hours: It's a patchouli skin scent. Verdict: I wish I could have muscadine all the time but alas, no. This one isn't for me, especially with the stale phase of weirdness.

    White Rabbit

Creamy honey and a vanilla. When wet and freshly dried it smells like a sweetened version of fresh laundry. Nine hours later I can smell honeyed vanilla. Long lasting, fresh, clean, and perfect for summer in the south!

    Golden Priapus

I was so afraid that rosewood would dominate this blend as it has in so many others. I smell absolutely zero rosewood! I keep getting a soft, warm vanilla wafting up to my nose. When I sniff up close I can detect juniper. Holy balls, this is vanilla win!

    Bohun Upas

It smells like fruits that have gone off. It's now gone into a powdery stage. This is not for me!

    The Jersey Devil

Drying it has a plastic phase and then it's pine + cedar sweetened by cranberry. In less than an hour it has turned into something powdery and plasticky.

    The Triumph of Death

This is all sandalwood all the time. I'm starting to think sandalwood is not my friend.

    Goblin

This one really disappointed me. I had very high hopes. I so badly want to find a coconut blend that works for me! I also want a sweetened patchouli that doesn't waft dirt. What's sad is the coconut works but coconut dirt just doesn't make for a good team.

    Scherezade

This went through several phases. A first it was a sweet floral. I thought "lotus?" I don't believe it's lotus, though. Then it went on to be a sandalwood single note. It then settled into Morocco without the godawful carnation (I hate carnation!). I thought the carnation was what messed up Morocco for me but apparently not. To the swaps!

    Lady MacBeth

This one is sweet berry candy all the way. Not for me!

    VILF

Wet: Pepper!!!!! Drying: Still very peppery! The leather peaks through and shares equal footing with the pepper. This is unfortunate as I dislike leather! It has ruined many a blend. About 30-40 minutes in I can smell the musk. It's vanilla musky peppery leather. I'm afraid this decant is off to swaps unless it morphs to something yummy soon! ETA: It morphed into a patchouli single note. ARG!

This is a sharp, powdery floral that borders on plastic. Argggg!

I really dislike this one. It smells like generic perfume and soap. Wash it offfffffffffff!

    Serving Tea After Coitus

Green tea, heady honey, white plum, ambergris accord, and vanilla flower. Yesterday I went to DSWC and brought home a bottle of this beautiful blend. In the bottle: Astringent tea. Wet: Honey! Wonderful true honey just like opening up a jar and having that wonderful aroma drift up to your nose and say "Hello, sexy." It also has just a hint of the vanilla flower behind it. Drying: The sweet honey moves to the background as the florals move to the front. I think this is plum blossom but it could be ambergris. I'm not familiar with the scent of ambergris, unfortunately. Dry: Florals with a honey-backing and a hint of vanilla with a whisper of musk when sniffed up close. I really like this one. It's got the right amount of sweetness and light airyness to it that makes it perfect for sultry Georgia springs/summers/falls. (It seems like summer eats up most of the year here!) I'm strongly considering picking up another bottle of this during next will-call.

    Twinkle, Twinkle Little Bat

A light, clean citrus. At first it has hints of melon but those disappear quite soon in the dry down. Later on I detect musk.

    Sin

I was so excited about Sin that I tried it the day it arrived. It was a SCREAMING single note sandalwood! I retested about 2 weeks later. It has calmed down but it's still a single note.

    Nephilim

In the imp: Dirt. Wet: Dirt and fig. Drying: Dirty fig with a bit of plastic. Eventually I pick up either patchouli or vetiver (I can't tell them apart!). Verdict: I love patchouli/vetiver but I'm not putting up with that awful smell just for a throwless drydown.

    Mary Shelley

I'm torn on this one. I like the scent but I don't love it. It makes me think of my mother who often wears Cashmere Mist. o.O I'm going to make my mom try it!

    So Below

In the imp: Amber. Drying: Amber, amber, amber. It's fairly masculine to me. If I sniff close up I get a hint of coconut.

    Bard

BARD A ridiculously charismatic blend of bay rum, honey, and white musk mingling with the scent of harp wood and lute strings and the twang of horn brass. In the imp: Very sweet floral. Wet: Bloody hell, it's a floral punch in the face! I'm not sure what the flower is but I'm hazarding a guess and saying gardenia. Dry: The musk peaks out after about half an hour. It smells very much like O without the powderiness.
