Amber, lavender, night flowers (especially jasmine), citrus (especially bergamot), tobacco, musk (especially black and red musks), vanilla, old books, well-worn leather, ambergris, some boozy notes (whiskey, rum, bourbon). Also, unexpectedly, coconut and creamy notes, which I dislike the taste of, but my skin LOVES the smell of.
Death notes: fougeres, aquatics, mosses (possibly the culprit in fougeres), any type of lily.
When asked to help me choose between them, my youngest sister described Brisingamen as "attacky" and Mouse's Long and Sad Tale as "laid-back." I definitely need "attack perfume" and "laid-back perfume" categories.
