I love carnations, so I had to have Pink Moon. And I agree with everyone who said it really exudes Pinkness, because it does, but not in a squealy high-pitched teenagery way. It's pink in a floaty, flirty, feminine way. I think I'm in love.

I'm a beach-baby stuck far too many hours from the nearest ocean, so this was in my first ever order from BPAL, received yesterday, and I'm wearing it today even if it is a cold, grey winter day. In the imp: Disappointment, it smelled like a floral/citrus department store perfume, with salt. Wet on skin.: More tangy, less floral. Dry, after about two hours: NOW I love it. It reminds me of the smell of skin after a day at the beach, when you come home tired and a litttle sweaty and you have that salty sandy sea-and-ski ocean tang on your skin. It reminds me of being at the beach with my mother as a little girl.

Got this in my very first mystery pack bought here on the forum. Am totally in love with it. In the imp: Chocolate, pipe tobacco, and something sweet. Wet: Oh, there's the wine, and the sweet seems honey-ish now. Drydown: I can't pick out individual floral notes, but I can tell they're there, and the chocolate and tobacco have softened a lot. Overall: This imp had leaked a bit in the package despite being taped. As I was opening everything, I was trying to figure out that enticing smell, and it was this. I'm still brand new to bpal, but I'm thinking this will be a favorite. I really like it - it's a very grown-up scent, but can still be either feisty or flirty.

Best scents for performing, public speaking, anytime on stage

I know this thread isn't terribly recent, but I've just read all of it, and found it interesting. So maybe y'all can help. What's a good scent to bring out confidence, energy, and humor? I'm an improvisational comedian, a member of the local ComedySportz troupe (think Whose Line, but in teams and the points DO matter). I was gifted with Calliope for Christmas, which is what got me hooked on BPAL (Yes, less than a month, and I've already bought three bunches of imps from the forum and made two actual orders. I'm a good little addict, I am.) And I like Calliope, but it's more in tune with the Writer part of my life, and not so much the Funny. I like just about everything - my tastes change moment to moment - Jasmine tends to give me headaches. Thoughts/ideas/recommendations are appreciated.
