Frimp from the lab! In the Imp: Very clean, fresh and airy. Smells a lot like shampoo, but there's something kinda addictive about it.. Wet: Shampoo. Hoping it changes. Drydown: Yup, that's shampoo alright. Verdict: This is not unpleasant, but I don't think I want to smell like shampoo. Maybe this would be a good one to try in my hair? Haha. My mum seems to like this though, I'll let her have the imp. Glad I got to try it, but not for me. 1.5/5

This was a frimp with a lab eBay order . This is quite yummy! I wasn't sure what to expect when I got it, and I never would have bought it based on the notes (bitter almond, hell no) but this is really nice . It reminds me a lot of bubble gum, but in a good way. Actually, no! It smells exactly like some expensive handmade soy melts I bought that were 'orange, sandalwood and mango'. They are delicious, and I LOVE the smell of them. It definitely makes me think of exotic places, its just yummy, sweet, spicy goodness . I think I might actually buy a full bottle of this when I finally get around to ordering from BPTP .

In the Imp: Crushed, overripe jasmine flowers. That's hothouse alright... Not unpleasant per se...but hmm. Wet: HELLO FLOWERS. This is a very thick and heady floral scent, but a perfect balance of jasmine and honeysuckle. Threatened to go soapy on me while it was drying. Drydown: This is still very much jasmine and honeysuckle, but I'm getting an undercurrent of lemon and possibly a slight hint of spice. Verdict: This is quite pleasant, I seem to be able to wear jasmine when it's by itself or with another flower. (When it's blended in a floral bouquet it tends to smell old ladyish on me) This was a frimp from the lab, which is cool since I never would have picked it for myself. I don't wear florals really. I'm glad I got to try it, and I'll keep my imp, but no bottle for me. 2.5/5

In the Bottle: Smells more like caramel corn than buttered popcorn at this stage. Buttery, caramelly, slightly salty, delicious. Wet: Smells EXACTLY like caramel corn. Exactly. I can smell the peanuts even! Very buttery. Drydown: OMG! Buttery, salty, movie popcorn!! Still retains a slight caramel edge. Verdict: Delicious! Do I want to smell like popcorn? Hell yeah I do! I love this. I am in awe, and I'm so glad I managed to snag a bottle! Yummy! 4/5 ETA: Unfortunately, this doesn't last very long on me at all. Still like it though . ETA2: I have since discovered that after an hour wearing this, the butter turns to odd peachyness on me. Pumpkin V '12 does the same thing, so it must be a type of vanilla. Still nice though . The throw isn't strong either, so this isn't a perfume I'd wear anywhere, just for fun at home .

2006 version. In the Bottle: I can smell leaves, and apples. It's very cool smelling, in a clear starry night way. Wet: Crackly, dried leaves. Has a certain smokey quality, but seriously smells just like crackly autumn leaves. Standing around a bonfire underneath a bare tree, all the leaves now resting on the ground. Drydown: This sweetens a bit, now it smells like someone drinking spiced apple cider while standing beside a bonfire underneath a bare tree with dried leaves on the ground. Verdict: I love this! Managed to snag a bottle on eBay, and have also just ordered a bottle of Samhain with the rest of my weenies, I hope it smells just as good as this! 4/5 ETA: Once I've been wearing this for a few hours, it's all soft, snuggly apple musk. Not fresh bright apple, but aged, slightly fermented apple. I LIVE for this apple musk. Stunning. Now...must try Rapunzel in Ballpoint....

In the Bottle: Veeeery faint caramel. Hmm. Wet: Holy caramel ice cream! Seriously, I'm craving Cadbury's caramello ice cream! Maybe a hint of fried donuts....very faintly. Or that might just be because I have a plate of home made fried donuts sitting on the table in front of me. Drydown: Caramel ice cream with candy floss. Turns vaguely powdery....powdered sugar? Verdict: This is nice, but not for me. It's just a little too sweet and single-faceted. On wonky days, this has the potential to give me a sugar-induced headache. I can see why everyone loves it though! 3/5

In The Bottle: Rich, cakey, pumpkiny, can really smell the red ginger. And it is /red/ too, it's very spicy, and slightly hot smelling, but not hot like cinnamon. Wet: I asked my dad what this smelt like on my skin, he said cake. This smells like sweet, rich, BUTTERY pumpkin cake, with a hint of spice. Drydown: As this dries, the ginger really kicks in, and it turns into a very dark and mysterious spicy pumpkin cake, but still veeeery buttery and rich. I can also smell a bit of citrus, but nowhere near as orangey as PQ was on me. Verdict: This smells quite similar to Pumpkin Queen to my nose, except PQ is more orange cookie than pumpkin cake. Yum! 4/5

In The Bottle: Very bright and tart smelling berries, slightly powdery, slightly caramelly from the cream. Wet: Sweet, tart berryfruits, bright cherries and a dollop of almost caramel-like cream. Delish! Drydown: As this dries, it turns into powdered sugar with sweet cream, and a hint of powdered cherry candies in the back ground. Sweet, tart, and vaguely incensey, I love it!! Verdict: I'm sure Egg'd Mailbox must share a cream note with this one as the drydowns are quite similar! 5/5 ETA: Somehow I accidentally posted this twice.

Frimp from the lab. Awful, overpowering old lady flowers :/. No....just no.

This was a frimp from the lab. I don't like this :/. It's not terrible, but I'll never wear it again. Wet on my skin, it smelled like tomato sauce (wtf?) and dried down into baby wipes. I'm wondering if this doesn't have a note in common with Dragons Bone as that also smelled like baby wipes on me....

Oh wow....I love this. This is probably my favourite GC perfume so far. I need a bottle, stat! In The Imp: Sweet, crystal clear and sparkling. This is gorgeously spicy, but in an exotic way, not hot like cinnamon. Wet On Skin: Pretty much same as in the imp, except the musk comes out to play a little bit. Drydown: Sweet, spicy, and slightly powdery....I'm in LOVE! This is very subtle...the perfume itself is quite light smelling, so I could definitely slather if I wanted to. I wore this to a meeting swiped across both wrists, and collarbones. Every time I turned my head I was getting this gorgeous scent wafting around my nose! Verdict: I absolutely love this, and I'll be buying a bottle with my next order. Gorgeous! 5/5

This smells like lemon and blueberry cheesecake to me. Yum! I like it, not sure whether to buy a bottle yet . Can't wait to try Drink Me! 3.5/5

Before I start this review, let me just say that I'm *really* not into florals. Every floral perfume I wear just channels old lady scent to me :/. That being said, this one is okay. The drydown is reminiscent of a floral perfume from a different company that I had a little sample vial of, and I really liked it. Unfortunately I never found out what the name of the perfume or company was . When Epitaph first goes on, it's way too strong and old lady for me, but the drydown is pleasant . I'll keep my imp, but no bottle for me, and probably wont wear this that often . 2.5/5

This one to me smells like digging in a rose garden . There's fresh roses here, and dried, crunchy rose petals, and DIRT! I can't believe it, but this actually smells like dirt. I've never had a perfume before that smells like actual dirt, and I'm amazed and awed . I love this purely for it's interest factor, and while it is wearable, and I'm seriously considering buying a bottle, it'll be more because it's just so cool, than that it smells beautiful. 3.5/5

Firewood and ash with an oddly otherworldly blend of patchouli, cardamom, nutmeg, black pepper, tonka, vetiver, and myrrh. I like this . Wet On Skin: Smoky, ashy bonfire . Not just any wood is burning here though, this is an exotic, spicy wood. Dry: This dries into a softer, sweeter, spicy scent. Still smoky and ashy though, which is really nice. Verdict: I like this. Not sure yet whether I'll buy a bottle, but I'll for sure keep my imp, and it's a possibility. 3.5/5

Thou shalt not buy a GC bottle unsniffed. In The Bottle: Damnit, I broke my own rule, and unfortunately I dislike this scent intensely -sigh-. I was really hoping for the delicious, juicy-tart cherries that I got from Monsterbait: Bloody Mary, but unfortunately, this is raging almond essence, which I hate :/. Wet On Skin: Yup, almond essence. Ick. Dry: Ooh, ooh.....nope, even the woods smell awful on me. Can anyone say peanuts? Couple Hours Later: Well, this has dried into a semi-pleasant powdery incensey type of scent, which is okay. Unfortunately the almond essence and peanuts are nauseating, ensuring that I will never be able to wear this scent. Verdict: Excuse me while I go cry in a corner. ETA: I decided to try this again, and idk if it was my chemistry that day or what, but I like this. I avoid smelling this for the first 2 minutes wet, because it smells like almond essence still, but after that, it is pleasant enough that I may keep my bottle. Unfortunately, it's quite faint on me and doesn't last for very long, 2 hours tops. Nice, but not sure.

Really not sure what to think of this one. I kinda like it, but I don't know. I get compliments when I wear it, and it does smell nice, but something in this blend makes me picture motor oil. I don't know why, because it doesn't /smell/ like motor oil, just when I sniff it, it somehow reminds me of motor oil. I mentioned this to my mother and she said 'yeah, creosote.' I have no idea what creosote smells like -shrug-. All that being said, this blend isn't at all unpleasant, and I do like it, but it doesn't seem to be one that I reach for that often, so I'm not sure whether to go for a bottle or not. Oh well, I've got a month to decide before my next order . Oh yeah, and it does stain my skin a little bit yellow, but then, I only wear perfume on my wrists as I suspect wearing it around my neck was giving me headaches. So not that big of a deal, people don't notice unless I point it out. 3.5/5 ETA: OHMYGOD. I totally get it now. So this has been hidden away for just three months, and it's already changed so much! When I first got the imp, it smelled quite sharp (although I did still kinda like it ) and like I said in my previous review, reminiscent of motor oil. Now, it smells like delicious sweet, smooth, spicy vanilla. I love it so much, and I'm definitely picking up a bottle or three in my Yule order =D. I've also picked up a bottle of boomslang which is freaking AMAZING so the fact that I don't have a bottle of SO isn't a huge tragedy for me yet . This is now one of my favorite blends! Updated Rating: 5/5

-sigh- Alas perversion, you disappoint me. I was really hoping for a twisted, smoky-sexy scent, but instead I got pineapple liqueur (seriously, I can taste the alcohol at the back of my throat with each inhale) and maple syrup :/. Nice, but a little too candy-sweet for me to wear often. I'll keep my imp, but won't be crying for a bottle any time soon. 2.5/5
