51 is a very "cool" scent - it smells like fresh breeze with some cucumber crispiness and honeydew sweetness thrown in. Moderate wear length and throw, a light scent that's suitable for more subdued occasions.

In the imp vial: "rich" is the word that came to my mind. i can't pick out individual notes. Applied, wet: It smells sweet and fruity, on top of a musky, golden scent. Dry: Sweetness definitely toned down, and it mixes with the incense smell quite nicely. A little exotic smelling, it reminds me of the incense in some middle-eastern restaurants I've been to.

Yummy! It smells like YSL's Yvresse perfume, but more boozy as far as I can remember. When I wore this in a scent locket - the scent tends to turn 'stale' or too 'sour' by the end of the day. However, when worn on the skin it mellows out nicely. I will be getting a bottle of this.

Mr Ibis is a very clean, fresh scent, but without being girly or overly sharp. It makes me think of fresh air and laundry. On the drydown there is a light muskiness. Wear length is average but throw is not very strong - had to slather on this one quite a bit!

woah, i really like how STFU smells! it's cool, green, fresh, and crisp-smelling, which i wasn't expecting from the name initially. effectiveness - yes, it works.

The scent of Charisma is a bit hard to pinpoint... it's warm, but not too thick, musky, slightly herbal? I really have no idea. Whatever it is, this stuff works. It seems to enhance your natural qualities, makes you more energetic and confident.

strangely the two times i tried it out i had slightly different effects. lucy's kiss smells like roses mixed with greeness. the rose is apparent but not overpowering; it smells sensual but at the same time the green/fresh smell gives it a more innocent and young quality. the first time i wore it the rose does not come off so strongly, but i tried it again last night and all i got was roses. unfortunately i am not a big fan of rose though i do admit it is befitting of its name.

Their scent is the crisp, inviting bittersweet tang of cranberry with smoky dark lilies, heady, sensual musk, a tingle of ginger and a brush of Mediterranean spices. in the imp lampades smells like cranberries, i do not get much of the other notes. after application the cranberries takes on more musky/spicy qualities. it it yummy but at the same time the musky notes lends it a somewhat mysterious feeling.

i was surprised that this scent turned out so fruity. i would expect a more mature smell, but this smelled like fruity gummy drops on me - didn't get much of the other notes, it's all gumdrops and fruit juice all the way! it is not too bad, i rather like it, but just not what i'd imagine lady macbeth to smell like. it is also quite strong, my mom walked past my room (after i'd applied it while changing to to out) and asked me why my room smelled so much like berries. heh.

bliss smells exactly like described: milk chocolate. it reminds me of one of those huge bars of cadbury's milk chocolate. a small dab goes a long way, this is a very instense chocolately creamy sweetness. i gave my wrist a few close sniffs and my throat started having that tickley feeling you get when you eat too much chocolate. ; it's definitely not something i'd wear on hot sunny days; besides, i've always been more partial towards dark chocolate.

in the imp, the lemon and tea comes off pretty strong and sharp. however, after applying the sharpness tapers off and what remains is a light, refreshing gentle sweetness. it is lemony without being too detergent-like, sweet without being cloying. i find it really comforting and uplifting. this might be my favorite bpal scent so far!

2006 version Never tried the previous sugar skulls, but I love the 06 version. In the imp it smelled sweet, slightly caramelly. On me, it becomes the yummy smell of brown sugar. It smells lightly toasted, and reminds me a little of maple syrup(?). There is a bit of spice in the background, but very faint.

desdemona is a gentle, watery white floral with a bit of spice from the carnation. it smells innocent and fresh but also with a more grown-up side to it, and rather sad. very much like its namesake. unfortunately when applied on me the drydown smells a lot like scented chinese new year cards that are extremely common over here. i like it, but i'd probably not wear it because i'd get asked why do i smell like greeting cards.

on initial sniff in the imp i thought of cheese popcorn! must be the turkey + butter smells. lucky for me the turkey smell becomes less strong over time- it's still there, but not so much cheesy. it smells like a mix of butter popcorn, cookies and just a hint of roast turkey.

bordello is all berries and cherries! scent did not change much be it in the imp or applied on me: a yummy cherry fragrance, but not being too sickeningly sweet. easily one of my favorites.

in the imp: green, sharp, herbal. on me, wet: fresh, green, berries on me, dry: soft light berry scent- sweetness tempered by hints of green. very lovely and comforting smell, i love it.

in the imp: very very sweet with a hint of resin muskiness. wet: thick resiny sweetness, a little floral? cloying. dry: notes have tempered down somewhat, still very sweet and heady. as a perfume it's not really "me" at all - i prefer lighter, fresher scents, i think this a bit too "rich" for me, would work better as a room scent.

in the bottle: almonds! thick, almost syrupy sweet almond smells... wet: yup still almonds, and general sugary sweetness? dry: almonds have faded more into the background, a genereal sweetness with a hint of musky-ness remains. overall the scent seems to fade very fast (~30min), and i wouldn't apply too much because the almond scent is so strong initially.

in the bottle: a white floral, with a tinge of spicyness. rather sweet. on me: wet - became less obviously floral, sharper notes more apparent. dry - generally tempers down, scent becomes more mixed, unable to make out distinct notes. it becomes a general pleasant floral scent. a calming scent, though fragrance faded fast. nice, but didn't leave a particularly strong impression.

i wasn't really expecting this... reading the descriptions i thought it'd be something i'd really like. smelling it wet, the lotus was apparent, but there was a mix of other smells which gave it a sort of herbal, musky scent. didn't really get the bubblegum effect other posters described, for some reason on me the pine and amber came out really strong, tickled my nose and made me sneeze! i had to wash this off, just didn't suit me i guess. ETA- for some reason i'm loving this more and more, the smell is quite memorable. i keep sniffing the imp! it's not a "love at first sniff" type of scent for me, but it grows on you after a while. will try wearing it again and see if results are better.

in the imp: ooh, rich berries, reminded me of some blackberry-flavoured chewy candy. applied on me: when just applied, smelled very thickly of berries, then slowly the overpowering berries tempers down, i start to smell the wine more. it becomes less sweet, but a very comforting smell. there is a wiff of something else mixed between the berries and the wine -- made me think of un-lit tobacco cigarettes, with that sweet but also smoky scent -- kinda manly? i guess that must be the oakwood. in my excitement to test my sample decant imp i actually spilled a few drops on my floor and stepped in it. now i must resist from smelling my toes! definitely getting a bottle of this.
